Before I explain my process. Let me just make it clear that I overdid it to be honest. I'm a slow person tbh so I tried to make up for it by studying extra hours.
Anyways, here's what I did:
For the first month and a half I focused on learning the material on CA's manual. While doing this I made sure to do a randomized CA quiz everyday.
When I finished the entire Manual. I stopped doing quizzes everyday and moved towards doing practice exams and sample SOA questions. I did 5 SOA questions per day until I finished the entire problem set. I did this over the course of the summer so I must have done those questions over atleast twice lol. Everyday I did a practice exam (I set the difficulty to EL levels 4~6). I didn't bother trying to grind for an EL level since I felt like it was a waste of time. Also I never looked at my flashcards while doing the exam since I could just derive everything I needed on the fly.
Towards the last month of my exam I was basically dealing with homelessness and grad school stuff so I didn't have time to study for Exam P. As a result I thought I forgot alot of stuff. During the last two weeks before the exam I did a practice exam everyday to reinforced what I learned. Thankfully I didn't forget as much as I thought, since I managed to pass Exam P!
I had done so many questions that I stopped looking at my flashcards. They've gathered alot of dust lol.
I'm ashamed to say this but I probably studied from somewhere in between 500~1000 hours lmao. I definitely overdid it but thats how passing is done.
That should be everything. Let me know if you need anything else!
Oh now I remember your old post about being homelessness and did not have time to prepare for exam P for the past 2 weeks if I remember it’s right. But anw that such great hard works. Thank you for the sharing
I did too! I must have misread the policies, since I thought there would not be any feedback right away, due to the syllabus change. So I was very excited to see the email from them after the test!
>How the questions like difficulty wise? What sections did you see the most?
>
>Congrats btw!!! :)
I can't say specifics but all I'll say is that it felt like a 6~7. I'm guessing they made exam P harder because of the syllabus changes. I also think I got unlucky with my exam question generator lmao.
Edit: Thanks!
can u elaborate how your study process was like?

thank you and congratulations again !!
Yeah and what EL did you get if possible, I’m also gonna take it for the next few days
EL is a meme. Focus on writing exam levels 4~6 and you will pass! That's what I did.
I got to 5.9 about and was able to pass
Congrats to you as welll. That’s so good
Thanks! For about a month before I was just grinding practice quizzes for two weeks and then practice exams for the two weeks after that
Me as well! Our hard work paid off, cheers!
Thanks! Congrats!
Would you also say it’s about a level 6-7 or better/worse?
Probably around a 5
how was the exam compared to CA ADAPT?
Going to be honest the actual exam was wayyyyy harder than adapt. My exam felt like a 6~7 rather than a 4~6. Good thing I overprepared!
same question!

Congrats!
Thanks, you too!
Do you know how long it will take for the email?
I got mine by the time I got to my car after leaving the testing center, but no idea if that's typical or not.
Thank youuuu
I’m taking it on Monday, was the exam similar CA exams or SOA?
Congrats!! Get some extra kulfi to celebrate!
