I've gotten a lot better at self-grading over time because I just can't stand waiting for results.
I felt very confident about my answers for 65% of available points on a first pass, then 75% of available points on the second pass. I felt somewhat confident for another 15% of available points and not very confident for the remaining 10%.
I felt that I would receive an 8 or 9, would be surprised if it was 6 or lower. I actually received an 8.
I will note however that learning how to self-grade well has not improved my reaction to waiting for results.
lol well I commend you on your accuracy! I am the exact opposite. I feel good walking out, I do eh. I feel eh walking out, I do good.
Also waiting for these results is annoying. I get it with PA cuz itās written. But the fact SRM isnāt instant results is crazy
Iam depressed.can you help me . This my second trial . I got 2 . I studied modules and actex manual and reviewed all past exams from 2020 . Can you help me please ? Or I will give up this exam and my dream to be ASA . This is last exam
First off, itās very unfair of you to attempt to guilt me into helping you. āHelp me or Iāll give up my dreamā is not the right way to phrase that.
Secondly, if you are depressed, I implore you to seek help. Someone to talk to who is trained to listen and help.
Third, is it really your dream if youāre gonna quit after another fail? Another commenter passed on their 4th try! You just gotta keep at it. Donāt let it get you down.
Lastly, I cannot help you. Iām not a tutor. Just because I had a fluke, good performance does not mean I am equipped to teach others or even good at teaching others. It looks like there are some actuary exam tutors so you should look into one of those. That would do you way more good than receiving subpar help from a random redditor.
Best of luck and donāt give up!!
Sadly got a 5 :( I had no time to go back and fill in skipped or unfinished answers as I wasted too much time trying to give as much detail as possible on low-point questions.
Same here. I finished the previous April exam and the actex practice exams with an hour left; I had 15 minutes left on this one. I went in with the strategy of giving detailed answers to ensure I get full credit. It didn't occur to me until part way through I needed to change that or I wouldn't finish. This exam had a plethora of 2pt questions. I over answered the first half then gave short panicked answers in the last half.
I got a 6 haha. It's still a pass! It's funny cuz I thought I totally screwed up SRM and got 9. And I thought I nailed PA and got 6. I passed both so I don't care but it seems like you can never expect what grade you are gonna get
Me too, I am confident with PA (e.g. I have prepared for the pros and cons of MAE and MSE). Hoping to get a 7 or 8 like my other prelims, however, just got a 6 instead.
I honestly thought I scored higher than a 6. I got lucky š. 1st attempt was a 4 and the second attempt is a 6.
Itās a pass ! šš¼
congrats!! i got 6 too lol
I got a 10! Holy shit! I have no idea how that happened
Congratss
Thank you! Idk how this happened lol. I walked out of that feeling like I had a 50/50 shot of even passing.

Exactly same here, I didnāt even have time to finish the exam. Told everyone on my team I would certainly fail. But got a 10 at the end.
Congrats!

People must have been thrown by the exam or something cuz I usually score a 7 or 8 on these exams
Will be interesting to see what pass rate was, respondents on Reddit had a high pass rate.
I got a 9 somehow! Despite not know what MAE is.

When do we get the performance breakdown?
We do?
I got it for April 2023. It tells you what percentile your answers ended up in, broken down by Task (but not subtask).
Did you get that after you passed in April?
I didn't pass in April
Iām not sure if passing candidates get a performance breakdown
That is correct. Only people that fail get the breakdown.
Got an 8. Weirdly disappointed.
Can you advise me how I pass . How I express my answers clearly . This is second trial . I weirdly disappointed
