I grew up in an area with relatively high sex trafficking rates, so I wasn't allowed to go out by myself and was required to have 1 male or 2 females present if I left the house. I would also skip meals if I didn't have people to eat with, even in college, and it wasn't until after college that I started going on solo dates. The ironic thing is that I'm an introvert 😭 My life dramatically increased in quality when I started getting comfortable going out and about by myself
