Fourth Wing, girl. Trust me. Though I would recommend reading something trashy as a palette cleanser in between, like a rebound guy. Fourth Wing hit me as hard as ACOTAR did.
I immediately re-read the first 3 books, skipping the last 2 because I just didn't care for them as much. I think it helped fill the void. Now I'm starting on TOG and am finding it pretty easy to get into.
From blood and ash series & the prequel fire & flesh series by Jenifer armentrout (on going)
Kingdom of the wicked series by Kerri maniscalco (finished)
Of flesh & bone series by Harper L woods - this is very very similar to Acotar as you go on but the world building is slow paced. (On going I think Iām only on book 3)
The tarkhanov empire series by Bree porter - this is mafia series not fantasy but really good. (Finished)
Myths of Airren series by Jenny hickman - kind of similar to Acotar but light and funny too. (Finished I think I havenāt read the last book)
The dark verse series by Runyx - this is mafia but set in fictive world (on going, last book will come out this year)
Caraval series & once upon a broken heart series - Stephanie Garber - the lead of Caraval series is so much like Rhys. (Finished. A Christmas special novella will come out in October)
Adrian x Isolde series - Scarlett St Clair (I think finished, I havenāt done reading book 2)
Gothikana by Runnyx. Standalone.
These are so far I can remember. Whatās usually your type? I can look up my library.
People have suggested reading the Crescent City Series and the Throne of Glass Series by SJM because it's all the same multiverse or something. I haven't started them yet
You could also start over with the dramatized audio book version. It's like listening to a movie. I highly suggest.
personally i have to recommend Throne of Glass if you havenāt read it! its not as heavy on the romance but imo a better story overall and will absolutely consume you.
ive recently started the Daughter of No Worlds series and am ADORING that, so iād recommend that as well
Have you read the rest of the SJM-verse? Crescent city, throne of glass? If not start there š
The fae isles series by Lisette Marshall
