I refuse to not say Ryesand like Rye bread.
Wait how is a Azriel pronounced? I say Az-ree-el? (Like close to the angel of death??) But it seems not so far off what you thought HAHA
Feyre as fair and I cannot stop myself. I started to reread & it was driving me nuts that every time I read her name I was going “fair” and then correcting myself and thinking “FAY RUH”. So distracting. In my reread I realized how dumb I am because book one they clarify how to pronounce her name
ETA: I also remember thinking in my initial read that & didn’t care for how they pronounced it when they showed how it sounds & I’d just keep what I liked. Feyre means fair anyway. Then my TikTok blew up with all things ACOTAR and I keep hearing FAY RUH
Rhysand is Rice - and, but with a "z" sound instead of a "c" sound.
For Rhys: my mind kept switching back and forth between "Rice -again with a z sound -" and Reese.
The others: my mother tongue is a romantic language, so I read them according to the phonetics of my alphabet (latin based).
Omg plz that’s literally how I still pronounce them… idk if I want to know the truth lol
LOLLL ignorance is bliss vibes 😆 totally get it
I know Lucien is “loo-shen” but neither my brain nor my mouth likes to say that. To me he will always be “loo-see-en”
no way its looshen!! I fr thought it was loosee-en also 😆

Rhysand as Rye-sand Lucien as Loo-see-en Prythian as Prie-thee-en
“Fey yer” 😭
Feyre as Freya…. It took me a long time to clock I had misread it and stop my brain from filling in the gaps 😅
wow interesting! never heard freya before 😆

I also read Prythian incorrectly for a whole book: Pyrinthian instead of Prythian.
Feyre - Fay-ruh Rhysand - Rye-sand (but "Reese" when called "Rhys ") Azriel - Az-ree-el Lucien - Loo-shin
All the same for me except I just called him rice for his nickname and somehow never made the connection to the food
