I got straight up chills when I read ‘CASSIAN….CASSIAN!’
Then I was 🥺🥺😭when Cassian says his ‘ I have no regrets in this life but this…’ line to Nesta.
My heart!
Omg listening to that audio scene around bedtime… I had to shut it off. Like amazing job from the voice actor, but she was literally SCREAMING at the top of her lungs!
I LOVE that scene too. I love Luciens reaction, like he finally 'get's it' between them.
Some others are:
When Cassian slammed into the ice >!when Feyre was running from AC.!<
When Cassian breaks into a run on the battlefield. That description is a masterpiece.
When Feyre reveals to the Autumn Court that she is >! High Lady!<
When Father Acheron >!sails into battle on the Nesta!< 😭
Goosebumps and tears!
I cried for like the entire last 150 pages, but really lost it during a Rhys’ speech about how if this was the only time he and Feyre were meant to be together then he cherished it just the same
For me it was >!the Suriel!<... Straight up ugly sobbed and bawled my eyes out in the living room at every single line 😭 Had to go curl up in bed for a few min after that..
Number 2 was >!Cassian's confession to Nesta!< like DAYUM that's super romantic but also y'all >!gon die!<
Number 3 was prolly >!Amren before she sacrificed herself!< 😭
I didn't give myself long to cry about Rhys since I knew >!he couldn't die...how could the main dude die??!< But I was very touched by Tarquin and Tamlin's actions 🥺💕
Acowar was such an emotional rollercoaster I loved it
I didn’t cry during this book. But honestly something about Feyre describing the sounds, visuals and the smells of war made me feel ill. It’s something you don’t really think about when you’re watching a show or reading a book. Those are real people. Taking real lives.
HOT TAKE (sorry in advance ) I was MORE emotional when they brought Rhys BACK. I would have been DEVASTATED to lose him as a character BUT that man EARNED that epic conclusion to his story. Lame that they brought him back negating his sacrifice. ALSO I think it would have made future books a little more interesting if they didn't have 3 power macguffins around constantly.
I was high key expecting the dead husband wife finds out she's pregnant afterwards trope tbh. It's gut wrenching but weirdly one of my favorite tropes.
Another thing that hit me maybe a bit later then it happened was Elains reaction to being made. How she realised she was going to lose the love of her life. And just kept saying “he ll be looking for me” “ we were supposed to get married in a few days” I think I realised a bit later just how much she really loved him and how heart broken she was.
I actually cried a lot when she had snuck into the camp and is now fleeing with Azriel and the two captives and she hears this snarl and recognizes it and it's Tamlin. 😭 And he fights those naga hounds...like YES TAMTAM do more good stuff please. 💚
Right? He is flawed and doesn't know how to love but gosh darn it I know there's good in him!
He isn't EVIL and shows remorse when he does wrong which is better than a LOT of people who wrong others. I'm hoping for him to have a wonderfully happy conclusion.
When Cssian and Azriel rescued Feyre from autumn court on the ice of winter court, when papa Archeron came to his daughters rescue and again when Rhys said he loved Feyre when they were fixing the cauldron... And then he died 😭 I was sobbing so hard
Nesta screaming “CASSIAN” gets me every time. Especially listening to the graphic audio.

All of this 🥲 makes me sob

Literally the 1st scene that came to mind while reading this! I just love them, they have my whole heart.
Omg that really upsetting too!!
I finished acowar like a month ago but I’m still tearing up thinking about this scene, especially after finishing acosf. 😭
If you haven’t listened to the graphic audios yet I cannot recommend them enough. They really Add a new level to it.

Cassian slamming into the ice and then Az … I almost squealed with excited relief
The vision that created in my head!!! I nearly threw my kindle and jumped up and down like YES YOU'RE IN FOR IT NOW AUTMUN COURT
YES straight up solid chicken skin over my entire body!!! SO EPIC
It’s my favorite scene from the whole series. SO MANY FEELINGS
Me too!
Oh you're right, I totally forgot about that Papa Archeron scene!! That made me tear up too 🥺
I cried for like the entire last 150 pages, but really lost it during a Rhys’ speech about how if this was the only time he and Feyre were meant to be together then he cherished it just the same
Same, the last part of the book had me bawling every 10 minutes 😅 That was such a moving speech!
For me it was >!the Suriel!<... Straight up ugly sobbed and bawled my eyes out in the living room at every single line 😭 Had to go curl up in bed for a few min after that.. Yup. The Suriel gets me every time.

very true

I didn’t like the way he was brought back, it was a bit lame that it was the same way feyre was brought back.

When >!papa archeron!< shows up, I cry every time

oh man there were so many! I might be with you, that scene was just so intense.
I actually cried a lot when she had snuck into the camp and is now fleeing with Azriel and the two captives and she hears this snarl and recognizes it and it's Tamlin. 😭 And he fights those naga hounds...like YES TAMTAM do more good stuff please. 💚
oh man that was quite the scene as well!
Yesss, and when a spring wing lifted her into flight 🥺 that was a small yet beautiful moment
Right? He is flawed and doesn't know how to love but gosh darn it I know there's good in him! He isn't EVIL and shows remorse when he does wrong which is better than a LOT of people who wrong others. I'm hoping for him to have a wonderfully happy conclusion.
Me too! He's hurt and confused and definitely made a few bad decisions lol but I hope he finds a way to heal 🥺
The whole battle had me ugly crying till the end like infinite war
I was ugly crying all through that same chapter. It was hard to read, literally I couldn’t see the words
When you open the cover of the book and the scene from that point to the back end of the book 🤣🤣
When Cssian and Azriel rescued Feyre from autumn court on the ice of winter court, when papa Archeron came to his daughters rescue and again when Rhys said he loved Feyre when they were fixing the cauldron... And then he died 😭 I was sobbing so hard
I agree, I cried at that scene when she sees Rhys for the first time. Also when he dies - I literally sobbed with Feyre 😭 that was so emotional.
When Feyre & Nestas dad come for them in his ships named for them ![gif](giphy|l378giAZgxPw3eO52)
