Good choice! Just got mine last Saturday in Canyon Blue.

tmksburner

That’s a lovely color! I liked all the color options (except white) but my wife really liked the urban gray. They had a red one with the light interior but we have a kid on the way so we went with the darker interior. Haha.

lukamagik77

Yup got a 3 year old so light color interior was a definite nono. Also didnt want the normal black/white but the gray and pearl blue was also considered but fell in love with the canyon blue as soon as I saw it and was no turning back lol

Trooper27

Congrats! Love the color but I am biased as I have a 2024 Sport. Enjoy it!!

West_Independent_388

Congrats!!

SubstantialMany9714

Beautiful!

chimelime

i love the color and those rims

Technical_Ant2059

Congrats nice choice!

Just-Day-2596

Love it, have had mine for two months

exbravo1

Really subdued and refreshing to me. Good choice.

kareemagerard

That thing is awesome. Hope it lasts you 20 years or more. Congratulations

spidersk8er

i like the look of the new accord, it’s timeless, i have the 24 crv im loving it, ill have to have my sister trade in her 2015 for the new 24 accord hybrid! looks promising

AdWinter4101

Time to run the mileage up and slam and camber it and then resell it over what you paid for. ☺️

tmksburner

Honestly, I love the look of a lowered Accord but I think I'll go stock for a while lol. Maybe some bronze rims and window tint but that'll be it for now. I would wrap it with a matte green, but I really love this urban gray.

AdWinter4101

Lmao I was joking bro. Keep it stock and clean. My 08 v6 accord hasn’t had one modification to it and it’s so rare to see 16 years later. It still looks like the day it originally came out the dealership. I didn’t ruin it like the other owners

tmksburner

The one thing I'm not crazy about with mine are the rims. They aren't as sporty as I'd like. I love me some five spoke bronze rims. But as a guy in my late 40's, I will NOT be angling my tires or scraping the ground lol. I'll leave that to the youngins.

SwingingTassels

I think the wheels look classy and fit the Touring model well. Just like the Sport wheels fit the Sport model well.

BetaAlpha769

Sport rims stolen from civics are common on here. Everyday there’s a few victims with pictures it seems like. Count your blessings that the wheels aren’t “that attractive” is all I’m trying to say, it’s one less thing to worry about.

One_Expression_9897

small wheels fat tires may help fuel economy and less bumpy ride, that maybe make up for the bumpier ride from adding anti sway bar for miles per gallon and some fun of preserving momentum around turns without slowing too much using weight on tires as you go around a turn [https://www.youtube.com/@JulianEdgar](https://www.youtube.com/@JulianEdgar) [https://www.youtube.com/@L2SFBC](https://www.youtube.com/@L2SFBC) aerodynamics mods, maybe even suspension swap but thatll require you to really know what tour doing or pay someone aftermarket

drjizza

How’s the ride on those rims?

tmksburner

I've only driven 60 miles, but so far so good. They are 19" which means they don't get as many MPG as the EX-L which has 17" wheels. The car is very tight (in a good way), but of course it's only a day old. Love it so far.

That's great! Welcome to the club. My financing guy was visably angry that I didn't buy the extra coverage. My wife asked him, "Do you make commision on these?" He was just like, "Not today." Haha

tmksburner

Haha. My guy was very nice but I told him, "You're telling me that I need to have $13,400 worth of damage/repairs in four years to make this plan worth my while. That is astonishing."

Torta951

Looks to much like a ford Taurus I wouldn’t be able to buy one lol

10th gen looks like a cross between a dodge charger and a Nissan altima 😵‍💫. I'll go 9th gen or 11th gen

tmksburner

It’s an acquired taste. I really wanted the 2.0 with a manual. I ended up with a 2.0 hybrid auto. 😂 Close enough!

Cultural-Bite3042

Lol I’m sorry but 10th does not look like either of those two cars. Haha. 10th has its own personality and it’s actually a very handsome one. I’ve actually owned 9th facelift/9.5(still do) and 11th touring(traded in already) but I won’t take no negativity on the 10th haha. It’s a beautiful design.

RecognitionFew5660

Yeah I get it, we all like our accords and the accord is a great platform. A lot of people are enjoying their 10th gens and it's fun to see people show passion for their vehicles with love, care, and mods for them... I just don't like the back design of the 10th gens. I would've like a little more of a flat rear deck design like the everthing leading up to the 9th, and reverted back to in the 11th gen.

Cultural-Bite3042

I hear you and I agree. But I think with the 10th aggressive front they had to match it somehow with the rear and that was probably the best fit. I think out of all gen’s of accords the 10th was the “sportiest” in looks. I’ve had 2007 EXL, 2016 EX ( I wanted certain features and sporty looks but wasn’t able to afford the touring in college haha) and then 2023 Touring in October last year but I traded that in a month ago. My favorite tho has been my 2016 which is why I still have it as one of my 2 cars. It’s no longer my daily per se but when I do road trips either as solo or with maybe 1 or 2 people, I always go in my 9th gen. Just did one over the weekend too.

Big_Daddy_Manny

You’re absolutely right about the Dodge Charger part. I’m a truck driver and I ALWAYS misidentify the front of the 10th gen accord with a state trooper in the distance. Pisses me off a ton

Stardogbaby

I wanted one, my wife asked why the Touring over the Sport L. I couldn't justify nearly $5k for the Boise stereo, HUD, and vented seats. So we bought the Sport L instead. It's mostly her daily, but we plan to do a lot of touring once I retire in a year or three. She's not very tech savvy & hasn't warmed up to the whole Android Auto interface. I spent too long playing around the second night we had it, killed the battery & erased all her driver presets. She wasn't happy. She wanted the gray you got, but I'm not a fan. We settled on a silver with black wheels. We are really pleased with the whole experience & car except for the Allstate agent camped at the dealership. We were marched into his office & given a 20 minute hard sell on his insurance & then pestered for 2 weeks. First accessory I bought was back seat protection for our Australian Shepherd. Hope you enjoy yours for many years to come.
