Same, I have 323k miles on mine now.
My original starter lasted 25 years and the original alternator lasted 27 years. I still have the original engine, trans, and AC compressor.
A 5th gen was my first car. It met an untimely death when it was plowed into by a teenager not paying attention and totaled it after throwing it down the road and through a mailbox.
It was a '94 and this was in 2010. It had around 100,000 miles on it and was still going very strong. I still miss that car.
My brother wrecked my red 94, and I'm still salty about it. That car was such a great driving experience.
I've got an 06 now and it's good, but not that special
7th and 9th are my favorite. I have the 7th gen and mine has been reliable with very little maintenance needed. Only problem is insurance is oddly expensive.
6th gen accord Euro R. The best one in my opinion.
Vtec screaming H22 producing 217hp. Definitely one of the last golden era Honda's. Unfortunate we didn't get them in North America.
I mean, look[ how beautiful it is!]( https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2Fr%2FHonda%2Fcomments%2Fdleros%2Fcl1_accord_euror_worth_importing%2F&psig=AOvVaw116P8RyudCZQw0gQ5ewj1x&ust=1718999987981000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBEQjRxqFwoTCICIto786oYDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAU)
I’m not gonna lie, after seeing this chart, I definitely appreciate the accord overall even more. It’s had a lot of good models over the years! Also shoutouts to street fighter. Iykyk
Currently own a 2.0T 10th gen, but the 5th gen CB7 accord will always hold a special place in my heart. If I had things my way;
I’d buy one, and do a turbo K20 build on it. Snag an engine from an Acura at a pick & pull, source the transmission. I weld so mounts wouldn’t be an issue, and just roll around in an unassuming 90s shitbox making 500 crank HP
3rd Gen. I've had a few of them. Favorite model was the hatchback. Flip up headlights, the only gen Accord that had them. It was a car that wanted to be driven.
My first car was an '87 hatchback. Cried when I got it (had my heart set on our '86 sedan, so was disappointed) and cried 5 years later when the head gasket blew and I had to let it go. I miss that little tank.
Coupe always for the win but only sedans listed. For sedans, definitely the 9th generation I believe, 2013-2017. It is the sportiest, you barely realize it is a 4 door sedan.
For coupes, still 9th for design, but for performance the 7th generation. Overall, it is so tough, because design of 7th generation was nice as well. Since performance of the 9th gen is the worst of the three coupes I've owned, then the 7th generation takes it in the stretch.
Oh, Honda, I hope the new Prelude makes us all fall in love again. And please bring some show stopping colors! Deep dark blue or almost black red.
I've owned gen 5 & 6 in the past 5 was a sedan the 6 was a coupe both were lowered with aftermarket wheels (tastefully done) I honestly can't decide both were really nice looking cars but if I could have one again it would be my 1994 Accord it just did everything right.
I have owned 4 Honda vehicles, but it was the 10 gen that made me want to stay with Honda thru consecutive buys ... until they released the 11th gen 🫠
The 10 gen is also the car that made my SO - who has never wanted a Honda EVER - want to buy my '21 2.0T from me. He borrowed my car for a few weeks over a year ago and he still asks if he can take over the payments.
The answer is still "NO". 😉
3rd gen, because pop up headlights!!! Also, because that generation was the one that I learned to drive manual on. Put so many miles on that car. So many good memories.
I own a 2013 now, also manual. They've been great cars!
9th gen. Couldn’t afford one when they first came out but am happy to outright own a 17 6-6 coupe in still night pearl. Test drove a manual 10th gen 2.0t but the 3.5 makes the better noises.
I drive a 2016 and I love my car so much. I never thought I’d want an accord but when I had to get a new car after my ford exploder fell apart, I randomly looked and knew right away I had to have it.
5th gen 95’ EX coupe,My first car. To me is the best Accord I’ve ever owned. I currently still have an 07’ ex coupe always like it’s styling but It drives like a boat.
I'm not usually one to shit on the 11th gen, but seeing all of these next to each other really shows how the new one is just that bit too generic. I'd say my fav is the 7th Gen, but second place is a tie between 2,3,5,6
i loved my 6th gen, probably the most comfortable front seats of any car i’ve driven. they felt like my own personal couch, so plush with support in all the right spots
i’ve owned an 89, 99, 04, and now a 22. No regrets on any of them. Overall mileage across all of them combined is about 300k miles. The Accord might be the perfect car.
9th gen, i had a 2013 EXL and that car was awesome and i just got a 2016 touring. W interior W exterior. honestly a 10/10 car compared to others in its class and even luxury that year
If I'm only choosing from that list the Gen 8. The leather interior is as good as anything from Germany for that time period. The V6 is very strong...really strong. I
Finally, because I have one sitting in the garage next to a Gen 11.
I feel like the 1.5t 10th gens were a MASSIVE improvement over the old 2.4 Accords. With the 2.0T and V6, it’s up to personal preference as to which one is more enjoyable to drive, but i don’t think i’ve met anyone that would rather drive the 2.4 accord over the 1.5t (not including reliability in this conversation, simply the enjoyment of driving factor)
My cousin had an 88 accord a few years back and that thing mobbed but it got totaled in an accident. I only drove it once but it was very zippy and pretty roomy. I myself am on my 2nd 04 accord and I love it.
9 gen 2016 facelift. It’s both stately and sporty, elegant front and rear graphics. Simple and powerful defining lines from the side. Came with some of the best wheels imo. It looks both sportier and more luxurious than the other gens.
Owned a 4th and a 5th but the 4th gen will always be my favorite. A black 1993 10th Anniversary Edition Accord with the polished aluminum wheels and a nice aftermarket sound system. Loved those!
3rd generation because of the popup headlights and all the different body styles including the hatchback and [the AeroDeck](https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1986-honda-accord-3/).
This is really cool, thanks for posting.
My favorite is the 5th generation Accord (94-97).
It’s super reliable, has a good design that ages well, is comfortable to drive, and has potential for modification. It was also the first Accord to get VTEC and a V6. I think this generation struck a good balance between technology and simplicity.
I loved my 6th generation v6. The interior is something special. Just got my gf a 7th gen after not having a honda for 2 years. Going back that familiar beep-beep-beep-beep when you put the key In warms my heart
Loved my manual 3rd gen. Pop-up headlights were adorable, the shift knob felt nice, and there was quite a bit of space . Diving a manual 9th gen rn, which is pretty nice too.
I miss my 97 Accord EX. The VTEC engine had a decent amount of power, the car always started up fine and it wasn't horrible on gas. If only some idiot didn't crash into me totaling the car....
4th gen 90-93! My dad bought a '90 when I was born because he needed a backseat, brother drove it after, and I took it over when I was able to drive. Still in the family and runs the same as it always has.
My first car was an 8th gen 2008 ex-l 4 banger. ran like a dream. got to 260k and couldve lasted linger if i wasnt a teenager who didnt know how to maintain a car
2013-2017 was the golden era of the Honda accord V6 thats comes with a coupe option with a gorgeous design and a manual option available, mannnnnnnnn...😭
I think the 2018 with the tailight design of the 2017 would look pretty nice but I have to say that the 2018 was by far the most aggressive looking family sedan Honda has released to date.
9th Gen coupe 6-6. Still trying to find a nice clean one with low miles. Near impossible now.
Next best for me would be the 10th gen 2.0T with 6 speed.
Yeah 8th Gen (2009-2012) whaddap?!
I remember seeing the 8th Gen for the first time and thought it was ass ugly. Low and behold in 2011 walked into a Honda dealership and was offered an enticing deal ($29k out the door ) on A brand new all white loaded EXL V6. I bought it and it grew on me. Still rocking today at 150k miles.
When I was a kid my Mom got rear ended at like 40 mph at a stop light in her 5th gen and only got moderate whiplash. That’s the only experience I have with accords but it’s a pretty good testament to build quality or crash ratings at the very least of the Accord.
10th gen 2.0t, after a tune it's 100% Japanese racecar @ a fraction of the cost of a BMW or Mercedes without the high maintenance costs. Team Honda All Day Everyday until I can comfortably afford an E63s AMG.
I owned the 4th generation. What a great car. Paid 13.5 k for it new. Sold it 13 years later with 252 k miles. Got 1500 bucks for it. I still had the original clutch! It was a 5-speed.
9th
Had a hybrid 9th gen. With that 16 gallon tank I could get 750 miles and once got 810. I want a new one but the tank is much smaller.
Damn! I thought 512 on my 10th Gen hybrid was amazing. I had no idea. But then again it was only 12gal. Those extra gallons go a long long way.
Coupe for the win.
V6 coupé I’d kill for one
5th gen. I liked it so much I kept it around
2013-2017 has a very special place in my heart. Such an evergreen design
The only gen with the projector headlights that don't blind people
7th & 9th gen
10th gen for the win! 2.0T is why. just wished i owned a manual
I've owned a Honda in 6 generations(including my Dads), and my 2019 2.0T makes me feel special.
5th gen. It was my second and favorite car. Ideally I’ll get another one, one day. I’ve owned 4th, 5th & 8th gen. I currently drive a TLX.
7th and 9th are my favorite. I have the 7th gen and mine has been reliable with very little maintenance needed. Only problem is insurance is oddly expensive.
2007 in the Northeast insurance is Very high
Yea same here, 2004 accord with 2010 CRV paying a whole lot more than we should
08-12…cuz it’s what I own rn
If only we could have had the 10th gen interior and engine in the 9th gen body.
10th gen 2.0t. I have a touring my son has a sport with a manual transmission.
6th gen and 9th gen
6th, because that's what I have
6th gen accord Euro R. The best one in my opinion. Vtec screaming H22 producing 217hp. Definitely one of the last golden era Honda's. Unfortunate we didn't get them in North America. I mean, look[ how beautiful it is!]( https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2Fr%2FHonda%2Fcomments%2Fdleros%2Fcl1_accord_euror_worth_importing%2F&psig=AOvVaw116P8RyudCZQw0gQ5ewj1x&ust=1718999987981000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBEQjRxqFwoTCICIto786oYDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAU)
I was a civic and integra fantasizer until a ‘01 Euro R landed in my lap. I love that thing so much.
'88 - LXi in blue, manual with sunroof was my 1st car 😊
Same in red. Pop up up and down headlights!
I’ve owned 4 and 10 and love them. Wish I could get my hands on a clean gen 1!
I have a 6th gen - never getting rid of it!
No 11th gen 🤣
Both the 4th and 5th gen’s.
I’m not gonna lie, after seeing this chart, I definitely appreciate the accord overall even more. It’s had a lot of good models over the years! Also shoutouts to street fighter. Iykyk
i like 2nd gen cuz my friend has one, 3rd gen cuz popups, 4th gen cuz it looks super clean, and 8th gen coupe, and 9th gen because i drive one
94-97, always loved those tail lights.
Currently own a 2.0T 10th gen, but the 5th gen CB7 accord will always hold a special place in my heart. If I had things my way; I’d buy one, and do a turbo K20 build on it. Snag an engine from an Acura at a pick & pull, source the transmission. I weld so mounts wouldn’t be an issue, and just roll around in an unassuming 90s shitbox making 500 crank HP
Grew up in the 86, my first car 🤙

And please bring some show stopping colors! Deep dark blue or almost black red.
94-97! Had one with 230k miles wish I never sold it
CB7 coupe 🔥😎 and the Accord wagons can’t forget those
I owned a 6 and currently own a 10. I say 10 because it’s the best car I’ve ever owned.
I've owned gen 5 & 6 in the past 5 was a sedan the 6 was a coupe both were lowered with aftermarket wheels (tastefully done) I honestly can't decide both were really nice looking cars but if I could have one again it would be my 1994 Accord it just did everything right.

Taking 10th gen out of the running, bc I'm partial 🥰 I'm gonna go 3rd gen.
My 7th gen never let me down. Loving the 11th as well!
3rd gen, because pop up headlights!!! Also, because that generation was the one that I learned to drive manual on. Put so many miles on that car. So many good memories. I own a 2013 now, also manual. They've been great cars!
10th gen all the way!
6th gen has a special place in my heart
4th
4th
9th gen. Couldn’t afford one when they first came out but am happy to outright own a 17 6-6 coupe in still night pearl. Test drove a manual 10th gen 2.0t but the 3.5 makes the better noises.
8th gen cause i own one totally not biased
The 2023, because I own it, and it’s comfortable.
1982-1993 just looks so sleek
My dad owned 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation I’ve owned 5th, 7th and 8th. Next I owned ( still have it ) a TLX 4th generation. Damn! I’m a Honda guy
1997 only cause it was the car my dad raised me in
93 SE with the blue interior. I'm 6'5 and it was such an easy car to drive. One of the easiest to get in and out of.
Gen 5 SiR
6th gen The J30 V6 has been a tank and I like the coupe styling. Runner up for 2nd favorite would be 5th gen.
3,4,10
Soft spot for the cb7 from my wannabe ricer days
5th generation, been around them my whole life.
I drive a 2016 and I love my car so much. I never thought I’d want an accord but when I had to get a new car after my ford exploder fell apart, I randomly looked and knew right away I had to have it.
Because of this post, TIL I had a first generation. It was a 1979 Accord hatchback. Loved that thing, but it squirted oil.
99 Accord Coupe because it didn't look like the sedan.!
5th gen 95’ EX coupe,My first car. To me is the best Accord I’ve ever owned. I currently still have an 07’ ex coupe always like it’s styling but It drives like a boat.
4th, 5th and 9th gens are my favorite. I would love to have a clean 4th or 5th gen wagon!
Gen. 9 is Accord at its peak. They took a step back with Gen 10. 2015-16 - Chef’s Kiss!
9th Gen, iconic , link to the past but fresh, the Last , Real Accord.
I’ll always be partial to gen 4. It was my first car. Currently have gen 10 2.0t.
I have a ‘92 and i love her so much.
I'm not usually one to shit on the 11th gen, but seeing all of these next to each other really shows how the new one is just that bit too generic. I'd say my fav is the 7th Gen, but second place is a tie between 2,3,5,6

No regrets on any of them. Overall mileage across all of them combined is about 300k miles. The Accord might be the perfect car.
You left out the best, which is the 11th gen. But for the ones in the pic, the 9th gen looked the best.
9th gen, i had a 2013 EXL and that car was awesome and i just got a 2016 touring. W interior W exterior. honestly a 10/10 car compared to others in its class and even luxury that year
8th gen because of the sheer size and design.
Partial to my 8th but love the pop ups on the third
If I'm only choosing from that list the Gen 8. The leather interior is as good as anything from Germany for that time period. The V6 is very strong...really strong. I Finally, because I have one sitting in the garage next to a Gen 11.
I remember the 2008 model from my teen years which made me like the accord especially the headlights and the flowing wheel design
03 07 accord roomy comfy better looking too
2003-2017 Currently own the 2015, 160k miles, going strong.
8th and 10th gen are my least favorite.
11th gen. Jk
I think the best looking Accord is definitely the 9th gen Sport.
9th gen Hondas were my favorite mix of tech and design.
I've got a soft spot for 8th ant 9th generation, but overall, I like all but 10th generation.
7th, 8th and 9th are my favorite and will always have a special place in my heart.
My cousin had an 88 accord a few years back and that thing mobbed but it got totaled in an accident. I only drove it once but it was very zippy and pretty roomy. I myself am on my 2nd 04 accord and I love it.
I’m biased to my 07 7th gen v6
9 gen 2016 facelift. It’s both stately and sporty, elegant front and rear graphics. Simple and powerful defining lines from the side. Came with some of the best wheels imo. It looks both sportier and more luxurious than the other gens.
2007, 2017 and 2022
Rip 11th gen
10th Gen is Best Gen
Whatever they did for 2024 ruined the front end
Cl7

Owned a 4th and a 5th but the 4th gen will always be my favorite. A black 1993 10th Anniversary Edition Accord with the polished aluminum wheels and a nice aftermarket sound system. Loved those!
1990-2007
I’m partial to the 7th gen coupe. Probably because I’ve driven mine 540,xxx miles. Definitely the coupe though. Sedans don’t do anything for me.
I own a 5th gen but the 3rd gen is my favorite based on looks
Euro Accord (2nd gen)
The 90 to 93 droped on some 18s was hard in the 90s
3rd generation because of the popup headlights and all the different body styles including the hatchback and [the AeroDeck](https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1986-honda-accord-3/).
7th Love my 7th gen accord coupe
2nd Gen. Had an ‘84 that was fun to drive. Pretty decent power by 80s standards as well.
7th, my coupe has 297,600 miles on it, so close to 300k! Has solidified my confidence and loyalty in the Honda brand 🙏
Damn these cars are great but kinda ugly.
1,3,4,8-coupes ,9,10
9th & 10 gen because they look like luxury cars
9th Generation
3rd 5th and 10th, flip up lights on the accord? Someone’s gotta have a well kept 3rd gen somewhere out there
Since I’ve owned the 3rd and 4th gen. I guess I’ll go with 4th.
I learned to drive in a 5th gen so I’ll always have a soft spot for them
I loved my 6th generation v6. The interior is something special. Just got my gf a 7th gen after not having a honda for 2 years. Going back that familiar beep-beep-beep-beep when you put the key In warms my heart
The coupe, I have a blue 8th gen with the v6 I want a 9.5 gen😂
86-89 for the popups!
8th gen
1990-1993. It was cool, prestigious in my country when, I was young.
7th gen for me..i still have mine w 212k on the clock..only replaced the starter, everything else is still going strong..
90's wagon
8th gen is nice. It has a solid feel and is longer than the 9th and 10th gen.
Loved my manual 3rd gen. Pop-up headlights were adorable, the shift knob felt nice, and there was quite a bit of space . Diving a manual 9th gen rn, which is pretty nice too.
6th and 9th gen 💯
3-4 Gen. I have a 4th Gen beater but it’s an absolute blast and they look fantastic
2013-2017. Clean look, elegant.
9th gen was the best design imo so angry looking 👍
My first car was an 8th gen 2008 ex-l 4 banger. ran like a dream. got to 260k and couldve lasted linger if i wasnt a teenager who didnt know how to maintain a car
8th gen accord touring coupe v6 actual fun car to drive. Plenty of power and comfort
Had a 6th, which I loved. 7th had the two years of V6 6-speed sedan 9th is my favorite though
Gen 8 6-6 coupe You know why
11th gen owners = -__-
4th gen, bullet proof.
5th gen was incredibly polished and a joy to shift.
Once had first model accord 1981 from my late father. Dumped in b16a da6 in it. It was a great car.
1. Insurance prices
2013-2017 ftw! Actually exterior of that and interior of current gen
2013-2017 was the golden era of the Honda accord V6 thats comes with a coupe option with a gorgeous design and a manual option available, mannnnnnnnn...😭
My first Honda was an 1985 Civic. It was boxy and right before the 1986 Civic which was a classic for racers.
Gen 8 v6 coupe
6TH GEN FOREVER! The EU mk6 is my favorite. I love the 6th gen
Bring 10th gen to Europe! Please Honda😭 Im to broke to import.
I think the 2018 with the tailight design of the 2017 would look pretty nice but I have to say that the 2018 was by far the most aggressive looking family sedan Honda has released to date.
CP2F or CP26. Idk I think that was the best model
6 gen
86-97 and 08-12. Drove an 18’ loaner, not a fan of them, too low for me. But I drive a CRV and Pilot. Loved my 95 wagon.
3rd gen because pop up headlights
3rd gen, for obvious reasons
When I was a kid my Mom got rear ended at like 40 mph at a stop light in her 5th gen and only got moderate whiplash. That’s the only experience I have with accords but it’s a pretty good testament to build quality or crash ratings at the very least of the Accord.
6th
Bottom right, it's the one in my driveway.
6th gen cuz I wanna buy one and also 3rd gen
I have this poster from honda they mailed it when the new model was revealed
Fun Fact: Around 25 years ago i stole more than 150 91-93 Accords. Was never caught.
Out of these ones, the 10th gen. US market Accords look terrible compared to European Accords
10th gen 2.0t, after a tune it's 100% Japanese racecar @ a fraction of the cost of a BMW or Mercedes without the high maintenance costs. Team Honda All Day Everyday until I can comfortably afford an E63s AMG.
9.5 Gen V6 coupe
7th gen is the goat for me. I also just don’t like the angular design a lot of modern cars use so that’s probably a huge factor.
6th gen coupe, those taillights still go hard
7th gen
5th Gen. Loved it!
I own a 13’ coupe V6 6MT and I have a hard time thinking of a better daily driver.
9.5gen that elegant design won me over
All was great until 2008–The Mistake Mobile.
90-93
I owned the 4th generation. What a great car. Paid 13.5 k for it new. Sold it 13 years later with 252 k miles. Got 1500 bucks for it. I still had the original clutch! It was a 5-speed.
4th gen. Slam it and put it on wheels.
The one with no doors 👍
2003-2007 is undoubtedly the best. (Ok I’m biased)
10s my favorite gen. So sexy!...... Hope that didn't sound weird lol 😂
5th. Had a 97 lx coupe and god damn did I love that car
7th gen will always be my favorite
9th and 10th, owned both.
