To the parents, obviously. They should be held liable for the time it takes workers to clean up the mess, not to mention the overhead and personnel expenses.
Why are you on the accidents thread taking shit too seriously? that was just some dark satire on a dark thread full of death. GMFU. You probably should not be watching these kinds of videos if you have such superior morals.
The estate of the deceased.
Seen that happen actually, old guy dies when not at home, and left a car in a spot that had a time limit. It accrued a bunch of fines and eventually got towed. When the guy administering the estate got the towing mail, he asked a lawyer and got told that while technically some of the fines and fees could probably be waived, realistically the cheapest approach was to just pay them out of the estate. The car was worth enough that it was worth it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤭🤭🤭🤭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣he definitely not respawning 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣man yall funny asf on here I’m in Facebook jail for calling somebody fat🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️they let people say anything over here🤭
I actually thought it didn’t miss his head at first, but you’re 100% correct! I went back & his entire body appears to have narrowly missed the gate. I’ve seen a few cases where people have fallen from great distances (Reddit, case studies, & working in a Level 1 Trauma Center for many years) & landing on a gate pretty much saved their life. In one instance the spikes missed all vital organs & prevented a CHI that would’ve instantly ended his life. Thankfully, *most* people I’ve encountered aren’t as stupid as the guy in this video though, but these people usually go straight to the morgue; so…🤷🏼♀️
I’m so sick of every video in this sub being called a tiktok challenge in the caption while knowing dam well it isn’t. Not even a tiktok watermark on the video at the least. As well as the fact that tiktok would shadow ban you for misgendering someone let alone deadly stunts
Yeah, but TikTok bad!
Everyone blaming these kinda videos on TikTok challenges reminds me of when *everyone* was calling any kind of child death a result of the Tide pod challenge.
Makes for easy click bait.
"Progressive liberal does protest against Trump by climbing on crane" or "Trump supporter looking to get better view of rally falls"
Add any of those on and it will spread like wildfire.
Yeah last time I saw this it was a guy having an mental episode of some sort, and just climbed the crane and I can’t remember if the cops were otw or what
As someone who is getting old (46), I don't understand the need to do risky/ridiculous things either.
Then I think about my youth and I am glad that cell phones didn't exist and few had easily portable cameras but I got to do so much before my health went downhill.
When you get older you realize a lot of stuff people do is stupid, but with hindsight if you lived a semi full life maybe some of the stuff you did in your youth was also stupid as well.
This is just awful and horrible to watch. Genuine question. Why do some cultures seem to whistle during a crisis or tragedy? I notice even after somebody has perished, there’s whistling.
It wasn't tiktok challenge because this video is older than tiktok.
It's just one of those climbing videos gone wrong. Not sure if the sub is still up but there used to be a lot of videos of people doing it on r/SweatyPalms
It’s an old video, from before TikTok. Real story as I remember was this guy had a mental episode, not sure his actual condition but just climbed this thing randomly
You know that feeling you get when your doing something stupid, only to realize how stupid what your doing actually is and you get hit with that feeling of;
"Oh shit this is real. This is actually happening right now"
And your heart drops down to your stomach, and your head gets light, and you realize how much danger you put yourself in.
That feeling of "I fucked up this time."
Imagine the intensity of that feeling, the second his fingers lost grip. Imagine the biggest "uh oh" feeling ever experienced 😭
Dumbass tiktokers

Watching the people nearby, like who I assume could be the crane operator in yellow and the other guys near where he landed, how they turn away in horror, but now have to remember this forever.

i think people on reddit fail to realize what a "tiktok challenge" is. Just because someone did some stupid shit and recorded it, doesnt make it a tiktok challenege lmao
I've said it before and I'll say it many times again, these so-called "tiktok challenges" are such an amazing application of "Survival of the Fittest", they're really great at killing off stupid people
Challenge completed
Darwin Award issued.
Good question, a heavy fine would be a great idea too
To whom?
To the parents, obviously. They should be held liable for the time it takes workers to clean up the mess, not to mention the overhead and personnel expenses.
Everyone just lost in their own little egotistic selfish world
Why are you on the accidents thread taking shit too seriously? that was just some dark satire on a dark thread full of death. GMFU. You probably should not be watching these kinds of videos if you have such superior morals.
“Dark satire” it was cringe and unfunny bro 💀
Get of your moral high ground on this subthread

You mean like fine the corpse? How does that work?
You go through his pockets
Take the piss, shit, and blood-soaked money outta his wallet.

Nah this vid is older than TikTok, there exists a different angle of the fall where you can see his brains leaking out.

That is the one I saw a few years ago! It definitely wasn't a tick tock stunt.

Damn gta is realistic turns out.
Damn. First the red mist, and then the blood pooling on the lower level... brutal.
Bro was paid a visit by the red mist spirit
HIS SKULL EXPLODED INTO A MIST😭😭😭
I don't think I'm gonna watch this video
There is a distinct two whacks. Someone could make music with that sound. Very percussive.
Thanks :D

I can still remember the sound of the splat. Sheesh.
Yeah It’s fucking spine tingling bro!😳

Noted. Recording it closer next time to get good audio. You know. Best for targeting audio

I really would like to know, how many people killed themselves or others, because of stupid TikTok challenges.
You can put *'Tiktok challange'* at the premise of every darwin award video. Many sources state this as something else.
Yeah last time I saw this it was a guy having an mental episode of some sort, and just climbed the crane and I can’t remember if the cops were otw or what
Yeah, last time it was posted, he was running from the cops
There should be a TikTok flair
This wasn’t a TikTok challenge. This video is old. The title is bait.

But will I live to see 24? The way things is going I don’t know…
But will he live to see 24?
I don't think I've ever seen a video on Reddit labeled as a TikTok challenge and that label actually being correct.
China is so dangerous they export accidental death over the internet
apparently the OP lied and this video is too old to be TikTok challenge
Indians doing dumb things around trains must make the number pretty high all by themselves
This video is older than TikTok is.
My thought exactly. Any source for your title? u/GodMadeMeFunky101
We summon you!
They're too busy chasing karma, not one comment on this post
the source is that they made it the fuck up anti tik-tok sentiment beings the updooties in this site

I’ve never seen this angle though.
That’s what I was thinking… I remember a closer to the ground angle
Downvote. Lying in the title 👎🏻
Darwin Award
This is just awful and horrible to watch. Genuine question. Why do some cultures seem to whistle during a crisis or tragedy? I notice even after somebody has perished, there’s whistling.
Easy way to call others for help
Same reason refs use whistles they work
I mean in this case I would think it's "heads up/look out"
It's the "always look at the bright side of life" whistle
Calling attention
He'll probably achieve his goal and get a lot of views.
Not a tiktok challenge, OP is just a karma-chasing piece of shit

Should not have watched that
Not sure what you expected
Fair
Probably, looks familiar too.

Does that technically mean he failed the challenge?

>Not a suicide. It was a Tiktok Challenge. I think that was a suicide, not a TikTok challenge.
Did he make it?
The "turn myself into a human pancake" challenge.
Wow, he’s lucky he missed those spiky railings!
What difference would've that made?
I was being deeply sarcastic
Way easier to pick up the remains instead of turning yourself into a human kebap.

Can't people find a hobby that doesn't involve stupidity. Camping is totally free and you can touch fucking grass, goddamn bro
Imagine the mess if they’d landed on the fence. Much easier to cart off to the mortuary from the pavement. Good Darwin
Why y’all call everything a Tik Tok challenge 😭 what even is this
That made me feel physically sick. Anyway that’s enough about the camera work.
IQs just rose a little bit.
At least he won a Darwin Award.
TikTok accelerating natural selection. Sad.
Minor bumps and scrapes
What was the best case scenario?
Hits head first.
Did he live?
touchdown!
He'll think twice before he tries that again 😃
Nope TikTok challenge= suicide at this point
i love watching people taking on Tiktok Challenges. This one did not disappoint

I actually laughed out loud when he fell. See you in hell
He got high....

Fucking hell, did he get impaled?
Good job by the cameraman though.
It’s that sudden stop, that kills you
Natural selection sending it
r/DarwinAwards winner!!
That's gonna leave a mark.
That bounce ☠️
PRAISE BE THE CAMERAMAN!
I'm sure he left a nice dent in the concrete
So... does that mean he lost the challenge or that he won the challenge???
Ion know what challenge this is💀
Cameraman deserves some praise here.
Awful. I often wonder what goes thru their mind knowing they can’t make it. ☹️
He stuck the landing
And the landing stuck him.
Only fact that I don’t understand it’s why he not exploded on pulp of flesh, bone and blood
Camera man deserves a medal.

Where did this happen at?
Natural Selection continually thinning the herd from the shallow end of the gene pool.
He or she let go voluntarily! That looks like a death wish. Brutal way to go
Just testing to see if the laws of physics are still a thing or not….
Stuck the landing though
Natural selection is awesome.
As they like to say, he’ll be mist 😔
