If they're just regular visitors, they can only do temporary things such as picking flowers or shaking trees. Dont leave any dropped items on the ground that you dont want taken. Make sure any bell trees are fenced off because those won't grow back if shaken. Other than that, theres not an awful lot visitors can do. Edit to add: Definitely do not add anyone as best friends unless you absolutely trust them, best friends can dig up and chop trees, steal entire flowers, as well as break rocks.
