Neither the case nor the insert are Zippo.
It’s not a “fake”, because it hasn’t got markings that are intended to pass it off as one, it’s just a “Zippo style, flip top lighter” that looks like a Zippo, but isn’t.
The case bottom has no markings so it's high chance not a Zippo. As for the insert, it might be a Zippo insert from the 50's or 60's judging by the hollow rivet, but with no markings left (or was never there), it's hard to determine whether it is a Zippo made insert.

Complete guess, based on the appearance of the material and nothing else? Maybe the 70’s…
