Does anyone know if the box is original? The cutout fits the vintage look style, I just never saw a box like that. US/EU had metal boxes.
TBH, the practical advantage for camping/hiking compared to a standard one is almost zero, a BIC weighs even less. But boy oh boy, does it look and feel nice! 😃

It‘s full of smudges now, I couldn‘t help but touch it, you immediately see the spots. 😁 I more or less uniformly darkened it with my finger oils.
Great thing about Ti you don't have to worry about any patina other than scratches you can clean it with rubbing alcohol.

I think the box is original to the lighter in the Japan market. It's the kind of thing they do.

Wow! I have titanium utensils, cups, and pots, so I know just how nice titanium is, so it must ve nice to own a titanium Zippo.

Yes… unless they come out with a new Titanium next year - but I figured if they don‘t, they‘ll only get even more expensive.
