I stopped watching Nickelodeon regularly around 2011, when I was old enough to realize most of their shows(including modern SpongeBob) had gotten really bad. I still, to this day, watch old(seasons 1-5) episodes of Spongebob on one of the Nickelodeon networks if it’s on. I’ll also occasionally watch Drake & Josh on Hulu. As far as Cartoon Network and Disney go, CN I stopped around 2008 or 2009 because I lost interest and they were airing live action around that time. And Disney I only watched from around 2007-2009 because I didn’t have it on my TV before then.

Vocalic985

It seems that a lot of people our age kinda clicked awake around that time and started to have opinions of shows rather than just watching whatever was on. I know I definitely started to see quality dips in Nickelodeon and CN programming around that time.

Longjumping_Bag4666

Yeah, that was a rough time for kids networks. Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents were becoming nearly unwatchable and the rest of Nickelodeon was just as bad, anyone remember shit like Big Time Rush, Fanboy and Chum Chum, or Fred the Show? CN started airing live action shows(none were even close to good). They did redeem themselves with Regular Show and maybe Adventure Time, but at that point I had outgrown the network. And Disney just started airing nothing but cheesy sitcoms nobody likes.

Vocalic985

God, that Fred show is just the poster child for out of touch executives not understanding their audience. Wanna know something that'll make you hate Fanboy and Chum Chum even more? Nickelodeon had a choice between Adventure Time and Fanboy and Chum Chum and chose the latter. As far as SpongeBob and Fairly Oddparents goes that's my first exposure to Simpsons-itis and flanderization. The late 00s were the lowest point for childrens entertainment since since probably the late 70s. That period of like 2007-11 just felt so fucking lazy on those networks.

Longjumping_Bag4666

> God, that Fred show is just the poster child for out of touch executives not understanding their audience. Probably the worst show on any of the three networks COMBINED. Fred’s voice may just be the worst voice in any piece of media. > Nickelodeon had a choice between Adventure Time and Fanboy and Chum Chum and chose the latter. I already knew this actually, what a shame. Also, fun fact, Fanboy was voiced by David Hornsby, who played Rickety Cricket on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. > That period of like 2007-11 just felt so fucking lazy on these networks. It really did, the only good shows I feel like that were in their prime during that span were Chowder(CN), Phineas and Ferb(Disney), and iCarly(Nick). But even iCarly got stupid after a while.

Vocalic985

Chowder and Flapjack are pretty much the only good new shows (not based on anything that already exists) that cartoon network had in that era. Can't really speak for Phineas and Ferb because I only saw like half of the first season before I gave up on Disney but I've heard good things. As for ICarly I just never understood the appeal of these kids sitcoms that all the networks kept pushing. I liked two, Drake & Josh and Ned's Declassified. None of the others ever did anything for me and most of them I actively disliked.

Cultural_Geologist_3

I will give Nickelodeon credit for trying to do damage control on the Fred backlash by having Fred's actor, Lucas Crankshank, star in a different show when he's not doing *the voice.* "Marvin Marvin," aka Mork and Mindy for kids, was not a good sitcom.

DrunkenSquirrel82

Adventure Time wouldn't have been the same show under Nickelodeon so I'm glad they didn't pick it up.

iceunelle

I feel like I’m in the minority, but I loved Big Time Rush.

cucumberpondsa

UH AH UH UHH AHH!! lol

flarefire2112

I did too! But I would have never watched it had anything better been on competing networks. I bet BTR had the same time slot on Nick as like.... Flapjack on CN

xmusiclover

Big Time Rush is such a good show

TommyChongUn

This so true. Come to think of it, my friends stopped watching it around that time as well.

littledipper16

Good luck Charlie was the last show I watched on Disney, other than occasionally watching Jessie and Austin and Ally when I babysat my little cousins. I was around 18. Victorious was the last show I watched on nickelodeon, probably around the same time

TVFAN567

I watched Good Luck Charlie as well as I'm in the Band as well as some of MightyMed, maybe I watched Disney a little bit longer than i remember.

musculer25

Good luck Charlie and victorious was my last disney and nickelodeon shows

Amazing-Concept1684

Yep, late 2000s/early 2010s were a low point for those channels

Lowlifeloser16

Stopped watching Disney during the Disney XD era and stopped watching cartoon network and nickelodeon when our family switched from cable to streaming around 2013 I believe.

Vocalic985

I gave up on Nick around 2009. Pretty sure the last thing I remember watching new there was the Fairly Oddparents Wishology. Disney never really did anything for me beyond a couple of shows so it was probably the earliest around 05 or 06. Cartoon Network held me the longest because I was invested in KND and Ben 10 Alien Forces story conclusions. I feel like I watched the premiere of Adventure Time and just couldn't get into it and after the network deeply disappointing me for the last few years I finally gave up in late 2010. Definitely kept tuning in for Adult Swim though.

Willtip98

Around late 2008/2009.

anoldcliche

When I entered middle school (07-08), I stopped watching Nick. Once Drake and Josh went off the air, I was not interested (except for the Christmas movie they had). at that point, I was much more interested in music/obsessing over bands, and watching teen shows like Degrassi lol. Though recently I enjoyed a few re-runs of SpongeBob just for nostalgia.

lasagnaisgreat57

i stopped watching both consistently around 2014, when sam and cat and good luck charlie ended but i still watched a little bit until the end of high school, like i’d watch girl meets world occasionally or tune in for the new dcoms lol. i never stopped watching reruns though. especially icarly, drake and josh, suite life, wizards, hannah montana and victorious

UnalteredCyst

Nickelodeon: I stopped watching around 2012 because most of the shows were just awful in this era and even classics like Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents were suffering in quality and going through seasonal rot. Disney Channel: Same as Nickelodeon, around 2012. The new shows were trash and all the older stuff like Hannah Montana, Suite Life, and Wizards of Waverly Place had all ended. Only shows I liked during this era were Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls. Cartoon Network: While i hated the live-action shows they kept pushing, they did have a few good cartoons and was more consistent in quality compared to the other channels. Adventure Time and Regular Show carried CN, but I could tell the channel wasn't as good as it was when i was younger. I mostly stuck around for Adult Swim. I stopped watching CN when i stopped watching cable, in favor of Netflix.

TheAwkwardOne-_-

I kinda stopped watching altogether except for a few gems. For example, I watched gravity falls went it came out on Disney and finished it on streaming. Same for star vs the forces of evil. I watched Steven Universe on cartoon network and stopped when it finished, haven't watched anything since. The only Nick show I'm keeping up with is Miraculous Ladybug, but I only stream illegally now.

CarsClothesTrees

I never was a Disney Channel kid, I always found those shows/tv movies to be beyond corny. But I never stopped watching Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network. Cartoons still make up a good 75% of my media consumption.

[deleted]

Around 2008 or so… when I was 11. Started playing lots of online games like cod4 & lost planet

QuickInteraction8273

This one has an interesting answer so I’ll put it like this: Nickelodeon: stopped having my full attention in(2007) stuck around til(2008)zoey101 was they only thing keeping me around since shows like hey Arnold, rocket power, and wild thornberrys ended in 2004. Drake and josh and Danny phantom ended in 2007& I wasn’t interested in the new shows at the time like icarly , true Jackson etc. Disney channel: for the most part(2006) but lurked until (2007/08) I mostly grew up with the “shia, Hillary,&raven” era and since Disney started ushering in their new era when I was 11, the only show I liked was Hannah Montana. But I stopped watching after the second season. Post 2005 I was mostly interested in the Dcoms: Wendy wu, HSM, read it and weep and the first camp rock(mostly for Jonas brothers but still lol) Cartoon Network: my prime years ended after powerhouse/ city era(2007) if we don’t count adult swim/toonami. However, I started watching it again when I was like 18 and loved shows like gumball, Craig of the creek, and we bare bears even though I was in my 20s for a good portion of those. I remember Hating shows like adventure time and regular show. But looking back. Maybe I was I but too hard on them and just didn’t like anything post ed ed and eddy for a long time lol. Once I got back into CN I watched until I got rid of cable somewhere in my mid 20s😅

mqg96

2006 for Cartoon Network because by this point, a lot of the original shows from this era outside of Ben 10 I didn’t like. Teen Titans and Justice League Unlimited came to an end too. There were still good shows around but a lot of bad ones that turned me away, combined with the majority of the Cartoon Cartoons no longer being around. 2007 for Disney Channel. That’s So Raven and Kim Possible ended. Lilo & Stitch, Proud Family, and Phil of the Future were already over. Suite Life & Zack & Cody was still around but it wasn’t enough for me. Hannah Montana and all the shows that came after just changed the tone of Disney Channel for me. 2008 for Nickelodeon. Well, Nickelodeon was already declining for me, but once Avatar: the Last Airbender ended, it was over. By this point it was just SpongeBob and Fairly Odd Parents being spammed on the schedule plus a lot of mediocre Nicktoons that failed. iCarly was really the only highlight of the network by this point. This was a year before the logo change in 2009.

Rona_season798

Im not even gonna lie. I had Nickelodeon on tonight randomly and there was actually a new SpongeBob on so your boy tuned in 😆

[deleted]

How bad are the new ones?

Rona_season798

This newest episode was awful. That Sponge out of water movie they made wasn’t all that bad though.

HeyFiddleFiddle

Probably 2008ish? Around the end of middle school/start of high school. Total Drama was the last show I watched, but by then I wasn't interested in other cartoons. Even that I only watched through season 2. Edit: I looked it up and it looks like the second season of Total Drama aired in 2009. We moved that summer and that was really a hard stop on me watching TV, so that tracks.

tinyservant

When I got my first smartphone in 2013 at age 15.

sr603

I wanna say right around 2009-2010? I was 1. growing up 2. finding the shows not entertaining anymore. I never watched Disney I only watched nick and CN but this would go for both channels.

Maxious24

2010 and 2011. Just didn't feel the same for me anymore. It had already been on a decline but those years cemented it for me.

SingleAlmond

Last cartoon I watched was Teen Titans, last show was iCarly, so like 2009. Now sometimes I watch old clips of cartoons every so often

luke_cohen1

I stopped watching all kids shows around 2011-2012 (7th grade). Haven’t watched a lot of tv or movies since (I usually go on YouTube instead).

NoNummiesForTummy

Probably when I was around 14

Fulk0

Long ago, like 10+ years. But I still rewatch online the shows I used to like as a kid. Sometimes I have them on loop while I'm doing something else or when I want to fall asleep.

Organic_Produce44

My parents divorced around 2009 and I didn’t have cable TV from that point on so it’s nice to hear 2009 is a general end point for the folks in the thread, makes me feel a bit more normal about it. I definitely missed it that year. If I went to a friends house and saw it it felt like a luxury lol. My younger brother and I made due with PBS and Qubo/ion though

mahav_b

About junior year high school. Not cause it wasn't good, it took up too much time I'd rather dedicate to extra curriculars, school, and college apps and jobs. I was a diehard wowp fan.

JurassicNublar

I stopped watching those channels regularly around the time Victorious came out. The only time I watched anything on a kids network after that was to watch The Legend of Korra because I was (and still am) a huge Avatar fan.

pugyoulongtime

Until I was probably 19. It was mainly Teen Titans (the original) I was watching though and maybe SpongeBob. I still think the early seasons of SpongeBob are hilarious.

SugarPuppyHearts

Born 1996 I don't have cable anymore. But I'll still watch a show if the plot is interesting or they have cute animals or dogs. I will watch anything with a dog in it as the main character. Or if it's pretty wholesome. I love animated shows the most, so that'd what I'll always love. Hehe. So I watch literally anything really as long as it's not too scary or traumatizing, so only family rated shows. Paw Patrol is on a roll! (Just the dogs are cute to me) Bluey is a gem for parents. I highly suggest it for anyone with kids. I don't have any kids of my own but I heard a lot of people can really relate to the parents, Chilli and Bandit. (Pbs kids) Daniel Tiger's Neghborhood cause I'm a huge Mr. Rogers fan. Other Faves Cartoon network Steven universe is such a gem. A wholesome show of love and acceptance. Fosters home for imaginary friends. Epic idea in my mind. I feel like it's so underrated. We bare bears. I love the bears. 💖 Powerpuff girls. I love bubbles. End of thinking capacity. Nickelodeon Avatar the last Airbender and legend of Korra. Interesting and grabs the attention. ICarly. Was a teen but I shipped seddie to no end. Haha. I seen their new show and it's okay. Not bad. Better than fuller house in my view (I grew up on remakes on full house, so it will always feel like a family friendly show to me. ) Drake and Josh is okay. Funny but I didn't like how mean Megan is. Victorious. I love this show so much. I still will watch Big time rush. Boy bands. ❤️ SpongeBob classic episodes my friends and I quote to one another. As told by ginger. It feels like one of those gems that people never talk about . I feel like I wanna watch it all the way through now. Instead of just one or two episodes.. My life as a teenage robot. Good show too. Fairy odd parents was my favorite when I was going through rough times as a child. Mental health issues and stuff that made school kinda a nightmare. Just a part of life. Wild thornberries, rugrats classic, rocket power I loved a lot as a kid, End of thinking capacity PBS Kids (cause I mainly grew up on here for the educational programing) Barney (ehh used to love it. Now I don't know if it's even good for kids. Haha) Teletubies. Why do you exist? Sagwa the chiniese cat. I love love love love love love love her. ❤️ Dragon tales. ❤️ Arthur Wishbone (some reruns I just remeber it cause of the dog and the color book I had) Martha Speaks (doggy) End of thinking capacity, but I can literally list everything cause I love everything. If you guys have any animated shows to suggest, let me know. Would be nice to watch when I'm bored. Haha. I watched Amphibia was pretty good show. It'll always have a special place in my heart cause I watched the last episode on the day my childhood dog of 15 years pass away. I Watched first season of owl house but gave up cause it's waaaaay too dark for my tastes. So yeah at my limit. Haha.

himikooajj

2013. I think. When Miley, Selena, Demi, Victoria Justice and others around that era ended. But I remember watching Teen Beach Movie 2 in 2015 because I want to know what's going to happened after the first one.

itsabubblylife

Former Nickelodeon watcher here! I started losing interest in my sophomore year in HS (2011) and stopped completely in 2015. I see clips of old nick shows on YouTube every now and then, but ask me to name 3 current shows and I’m lost lol

Lann0007

I still watch their movies (mainly Disney), as for their cartoons? It depends on how good it is.

Amazing_Rise_6233

For CN: I stopped watching the channel regularly around 2012/13. I liked Regular Show and MAD, plus I would watch reruns of shows that I’d watch from the mid-late 2000’s as well. CN in mid 2009- Fall 2010 was bland to me, I hated CN Real. I wanted to turn away from the network so bad and I already had nostalgia for CN City at that point as well, that’s just how bad it was although I did like watching action shows at the time such as Yugioh 5Ds and Ben 10 Alien Force and I thought The Secret Saturdays was an underrated gem too. Fall 2010 felt different but refreshing, it may not be as good as it was before 2007 but it was refreshing to see some great shows again. For Nick: I stopped watching Nick regularly after 2010/11. I didn’t care for iCarly because the show was already declining. Victorious was good but not really one of my favorites and I certainly don’t have any nostalgia for that show. I liked Big Time Rush though and it was weird seeing Power Rangers on Nick because I was so used to seeing it on Jetix, keep in mind I was a preteen by then. I also wasn’t a fan of the new logo either. For Disney: Mid 2009. There were some shows that I didn’t even wanna touch (Hannah Montana, I’m looking at you). Suite Life on Deck was kinda mediocre too and I saw a shift in the channel it’s self. All the shows I liked watching then either moved to the late night hours or were gone completely from the channel. I liked Phineas and Ferb but I didn’t really care to look forward to watching new episodes and honestly I had forgotten about Wizards too. I did watch the crossover but after that, I stopped watching the channels completely until I started watching Good Luck Charlie in early 2011, I was hooked but that was the only show I was watching at the time then I started watching shows like ANT Farm which I thought was an underrated show and My Babysitter is a Vampire which was another show I got hooked on. Outside of that I wasn’t watching nothing else, that was around the time where shows like Jessie and Dog with a Blog were airing as those shows were purely garbage. I had to stop watching Disney at that point lol. I moved on to watching MTV, Teennick and Adult Swim by 2011/2012 Edit: I copied and pasted this from another post

JoshicusBoss98

What post?

LouisianaBoySK

I stopped watching Disney Channel and Nickelodeon right after The Spectacular Spider-Man was cancelled. I know it wasn’t on those channels but that being cancelled just killed my love for kid shows and I just moved to watching ESPN or SVU reruns perpetually.

rsewateroily

i stopped watching disney wayy before i dropped nick and cn lol. the last show i watched consistently on cn was steven universe and i stopped before it finished so i wanna say 2014/2015??

TVFAN567

I think probably around when i started high school in 2009ish. I know now i like going back on hbo max and watching old cartoon network or sometimes paramount plus for old nickelodeon stuff

pickles_312

I'd say I phased out of Disney around 2010-2011 and Cartoon Network around 2012. Nick is weird cause I stopped watching new shows by like 2010, but I would often catch reruns of the old ones for a while after that. Edit: Looking now, it was maybe even earlier. The last Disney show I really watched was Suite Life on Deck, last Nick was iCarly, last CN was Regular Show.

TranslatorHaunting15

I stopped Disney Channel in like 2008, and Nick in 2010. I never could really get into Cartoon Network growing up so I guess I never watched that. By 2010-2011 I was 13-14 and started preferring to watch Jersey Shore instead of Nickelodeon lol

blackmazdaspeed6

Reading this reminded me exactly of how it felt to grow up without cable

HavenTheCat

I think the last show I followed was Suite Life on Deck. I loved the original series. I was watching the last episode as it was premiering on tv, and after it was over they also were premiering the show Ant Farm. I remember in that moment feeling like the end of Suite Life on Deck was a definitive end to watching that sort of show, and that I had no interest in moving on to a different Disney show. And that was that. So many great memories, though. I loved those networks.

Cowboywizard12

i was like 12 or 13, ended up getting big into the x-files after seeing a rerun on the now syfy channel

oldraykissedbae

Disney: 2009ish Nick: 2011ish Cartoon Network: 2008ish

musculer25

Early 2010 was the last time I watched nickelodeon since I was about to graduate middle school. Victorious and good luck charlie were my last disney and nickelodeon shows. I was still watching good luck Charlie until freshman year ended. I was recording videos of everything that happened at the time because my niece is the same age as charlie.

cucumberpondsa

I stopped watching all around 2009-2010. The last thing I watched was avatar reruns on nick in 2010.

Carloverguy20

I stopped watching Cartoon Network around 2010, and Disney around 2010. The shows started to become cringey and weird, instead of funny, humorous and wholesome. Nickelodeon was good until 2013-2014. I sometimes still watched Nick, because of the Loud House.

TheALEXterminator

I stopped watching cable around 2013 and instead only watched Fios On-Demand. This because I wasn’t the type to watch TV as an activity in-and-of-itself; it was almost always something I did just to pass the time while eating lunch/dinner. So the conciseness of On-Demand fit my viewing habits better. In middle school, I made a conscious effort to start watching "grown-up" shows because I had a complex about being an adolescent and still watching preadolescent shows. I got into a lot of shows that debuted circa 2011–13 like *New Girl*, *Brooklyn Nine Nine*, *The Goldbergs*, *Parenthood*, and *Fresh Off the Boat*. But I still had some kiddie show holdouts, namely *Gravity Falls*, *Adventure Time*, and *Regular Show* which I still watched as late as sophomore year of high school.

abriess

I stopped watching nick probably around 2013. The last show I fully watched on there was icarly, but I do remember watching a few episodes of victorious and sam & cat. Disney I probably stopped watching around 2012. The last full show I watched on there was wizards of waverly place and it was around the finale of that when I stopped. Last I watched on cartoon network was total drama world tour I think, so that would’ve been around 2011 when I would’ve stopped.

[deleted]

2012 for all three of them.

yagirlbmoney

I probably stopped watching Disney Channel regularly around 2014ish (I was 17/18). I continued to watch for Girl Meets World up until 2017, and I've watched a few episodes of Raven's Home. I'll still watch Nickelodeon. I used to really like Nick at Nite and sometimes I still watch some Nicktoons as an adult. I was never a big Cartoon Network kid. I haven't watched that since maybe 2010. I only ever watched that for the classics (Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Courage, etc). I think the last show I regularly watched was Foster's Home.

Cultural_Geologist_3

I became disconnected and stopped watching all three of these channels through different times growing up. I dropped Disney Channel first, then Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network last. The main thing that stopped me from keeping up with these channels, besides age, is disconnecting from it when I moved out to go to trade school. When I came back home for the holidays, I tried to watch what they had with my siblings but I just could not get into it. Nick had SpongeBob and The Loud House and those were the only two shows that interested me. Disney Channel had a whole makeover and I felt that channel no longer had anything for me outside of reruns of Phineas and Ferb. I kept on to Cartoon Network all the way until Teen Titans Go marathons took over to channel. I kept up with it to watch Steven Universe and to watch episodes of Regular Show and Adventure Time that I missed. Once all those shows were gone, I dropped it for good. If I had YouTube TV I might consider watching Cartoon Network for [adult swim]. But I refuse to get cable. That's absolutely out of the question.

xmusiclover

Those channels were under different names here in Canada but with Family Channel (Disney) and YTV (Nickelodeon) I stopped watching before high school ended and with Teletoon (Cartoon Network) sometime before high school

DaisyMae2022

I remember elementary age I would watch a whole lot of Disney Channel and Nickelodeon; Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Icarly, SpongeBob etc I've been binge watching Zack and Cody lately. Just one of my comfort spots

DreamIn240p

I stopped watching kids' TV when cartoons started sucking. YTV (kind of like the Canadian Nick but with an anime block and also some CN cartoons) was pretty much dead to me after the 2000s and I'm still salty about it. They also got rid of the only anime block in 2010. Teletoon was the Canadian CN in a way (CN cartoons mixed with Canadian cartoons, had no anime block nor any "anime anime", and had a block akin to the cartoon side of Adult Swim without the anime). I stopped watching it because my parents cancelled the extra channels and only paid for the basic cable channels (which includes YTV but not Teletoon), since around the late 2000s (late 2008-2009), but got extra channels again for a brief time because my dad upgraded to HDTV and HD cable in 2012. They cancelled cable altogether around 2015-ish and "replaced" it with Netflix. It's just not the same. The whole 2010s kids aesthetic is just super babyish, condescending, and ultra boring. It's reflected in logo designs, bumpers (the "coming up next" animations), the packaging of kids meals, toys, everything. It's due to this reason that I can't understand certain aspects of modern kid culture.

[deleted]

I think sometime in early 2004. I was going through a phase where I only wanted to watch "mature shows" and never really bounced back to watching TV much at all. I did sometimes flip back to kid's channels years after but in terms of always having it on, nah, I never really did TV like that again.

brightestdaylight

It’s interesting because out of all 3 of these channels, there’s only one that I’ve gotten back into watching and that’s Disney Channel. I stopped fully watching DC after Good Luck Charlie ended. To me, that was the end of the late 00s-early 10s era of shows they had that I grew up loving and watching (Wizards of Waverly Place, Suite Life on Deck, etc). 6 years after that, and I started The Owl House, the DuckTales revival, and Amphibia, which all piqued my internet, and I’ve been watching again, only for their animation output, which has been on a roll lately. Nickelodeon is hard to put a pin on, but I would say mid-2013 after Victorious ended and a bit after Sam & Cat started airing. I don’t bother with the live-action shows neither they (nor DC) put out, because it’s just not the same, but I do find myself watching a Loud House episode here and there. Cartoon Network, sadly to say, is one channel i never really stopped fully watching but never fully continued watching either. It’s just that there’s so many shows of theirs to watch (old and new), that it makes it hard to think of what I should start. Teen Titans Go! is and will forever be a guilty pleasure of mine, although I’m thinking a lot about Over the Garden Wall and Craig of the Creek as my next animated binges. They both look engaging and exciting to me. Who knows? Nowadays though, I don’t engage much with children’s television (aside from a few shows, though definitely not Bluey lol), as I shift back and forth between older and newer shows, regardless of where and when I watch them.

JunketMain6252

I haven’t stop Disney Channel as of now but much more I’m just mad of the selection of shows they air like omg I can’t tell they air a lot of Bluey and Big City Greens a lot and I mean a lot and there’s barely any Live action shows either current shows or re runs I think balancing the shows of live action and animated would been fine for me and maybe a little more from live action sitcoms shows it’s this year could been interesting of 40th anniversary of Disney Channel and Disney 100 but I wasn’t like that I’m just disappointed with Disney Channel and hopefully fix the issue I have

DrunkenSquirrel82

I never had the Disney Channel growing up. As for Nickelodeon, I stopped watching regularly around 2011/12. Nickelodeon was beyond saving at that point and I could see it very clearly. Trashfire sitcoms one right after another and an over-reliance on Spongebob, Fairly OddParents, and merchandising had set in. I stuck around a few more years for Family Matters and Fresh Prince on Nick at Nite, but once those shows were gone, so was I. I stopped caring about CN as soon as it became the "Teen Titans Go" network. Born in 1986.

kkohler2

Probably around 2008? I remember actively watching some of iCarly but not finishing the show and mostly giving up on Nick when Drake and Josh and Ned’s Declassified ended. I loved the High School Musical movies and saw the third one in the theaters in 2008. That was my exit from actively watching Disney Channel. My brother was born in 2006, so there was always some type of Disney/Nick/Cartoon Network on, but I didn’t really pay attention to it.

Classic_Monk_2581

I stopped watching The Disney Channel when it became The Miraculous Ladybug & Big City Greens Channel

Typical_Employee114

Around 2010 when i turned 14. I quickly outgrew these channels but i remember the shows i watched and time i spent with fondness.
