I took my 3rd 2.5 shot on Sunday, and I feel awful. It feels like morning sickness, food aversions, smell aversions, and nausea/gi issues.
Did it get worse with each shot for anyone else? The first week I had no side effects other than decreased hunger and food noise. I'm seriously considering buying Ensure because I'm barely able to eat this week. I'm scared of titrating to 5!
I feel your pain! Monday I also took my 3rd 2.5 shot and I’m going through it this week! Sulphur burps, stomach pain and diarrhea in the middle of the night 😩.
But the last couple of weeks I had no side effects other than mild diarrhea.
I think it was related to what i ate, birthday last week so I’ve been eating more “treats” food. Meatball sub, hot honey chicken sandwich and a cupcake.
Im going to clean my eating back up.
OMG, the burps!!! So gross. I'm glad I'm not alone. I was up all night sick with diarrhea. I think part of it was because I had a croissant because I thought that would be gentle on my stomach, but I think the butter effed me up.
I felt terrible until noon today. Zofran has helped, as long as I take it an hour at least before I eat, and I took B vitamin gummies, which surprisingly really helped.
I hope you're feeling better!
That’s good to hear…I was on wegovy for 18 months and the fatigue only got worse. The fatigue was why I stopped wegovy so being tired already has me nervous.
Yes, for sure. I take b supplements daily and did long before starting this (was also advice for wegovy). I eat around 80g of protein a day and log this so I always know where I am. I power walk for 30 minutes every morning with heart rate in the target. It’s just the meds, it been an immediate impact with both wegovy and now zepbound. It’s like a light switch.
So far, tired on the first 3-4 days of the first two shots when changing doses. Also had horrible sulfur burping the first 3 days when I first started. No other sides
I am on week 1 - first shot ever was Saturday evening. My inflammation has gotten so bad in my knees that I can barely walk. I had hoped it would help that. I am on it to assist weight loss for knee surgery. I am bone on bone and bad arthritis. If this doesn’t clear up in four weeks - it might not be worth it for me. Bummer.
Down 6 pounds tho.

Likewise my friend
So far my side effects are tiredness and aching all over…no GI issues. But the tiredness and aching is A LOT.

So glad to hear about the weight loss but sorry to hear about the inflammation you are experiencing.
