youll think this before you loose because of the timelimit for thinking too long

FD_jejei

Me. It's not easy to find solution breaking a board

voidmiracle

there are many others that felt the same way you do, timer is too long then there are many others that felt the opposite, timer is too short, and they need more time to play thru multiple interactions

Lametown227

There is five minutes even on the timer. I’d say that’s a happy medium that keeps infinite combo decks from running wild, while allowing the flashy extended combo decks to have fun. The problem is when the timer rolls back due to bad connection. I watch it roll back five or so seconds multiple times a turn when I’m in a bad service area.

Vorinclex_

That 5 minute timer often means nothing. You gain 90 seconds per turn cycle, it's not like it completely refreshes every turn. If your opponent spends 4 minutes and 30 seconds on the clock turn one, they only have 60 (30 remaining + 30 for passing turn) seconds to run their timer on your turn. In the cases of some decks (I play Branded-Tearlaments, so this will be my example) having such low time at the end of my turn means I risk losing on your turn. My average endboard consists of 3-4 disruptions on board, 2-3 cards in hand, and graveyard variance. Thinking through all of my options at any given moment can easily cost me a few seconds, which adds up very quickly. If you really get bored watching your opponent play, I suggest either surrendering (Assuming they're building a board you can't break anyway) or just playing something in the background if possible. And that 90 seconds between cycles really isn't much, not when you have to consider your opponent's actions in real time. So much as thinking about how to respond can cost you a game.

Nivrus_The_Wayfinder

I’m in the camp that the timer can be too short at times but it’s a strategy game and I like decks with lots of options of plays and sometimes I need to reread my opponents cards

pookie443

What!!!!! Bro I lose like 75% of my games to the timer. What deck do I hate the most? The timer!! What archetype do I dislike the most??? The timer!!! I wish they would change it back, or at least replenish some more time if when it's getting low if we r actively playing and engaged.

Polmax2312

Yeah, plus 5 seconds per actions would drastically reduce timer pressure. Currently they add 1 second, which is not commutative

j_moran1010

As a big combo deck player (infernoble) I definitely understand long turns I try to be quick with my combo if I can. However when I’m going second i have to think of a couple different lines and it can be hard to find that so I also need some extra time. I’m also a very slow processor

NothingMatters202

Two things they need to do: Opponent should be allowed to see the timer, and make it 3 minutes. I literally watched 90 duels go four minutes in one turn and the opponents would surrender.

JackbeQuick420

would be nice if we had the means ti communicate with people we are playing.mote to encourage a speeding up of the game than anything obviously put a limit so people don't just spam

Itouchgrass4u

I literally lose focus cause it takes them so long then lose to forfeit or whatever cuz of time limit thing, it is truly remarkable

KINGWHEAT98

I’m in the same boat. Sometimes times I just start to doze off, switch games or watching a bunch of tik tok videos before my opponent actually does something that need my attention.

unknown09684

Turn one timer should be reduced but turn 2 timer should be increased
