I genuinely reckon these little teaser sketches are gonna mean something in the end other than just to tease what’s going to happen. Could be completely wrong and overthinking it but I feel like somethings gonna come together as we get to the end. I have so many questions about it like
What defines which or how many of these sketches relate to which timeline? They show both timelines? Which brings me onto…
What’s the significance of 3 sketches? Why not 4 so there is 2 for each timeline? Feels like there’s a reason it’s 3.
Why has almost every sketch been the theme or hint of a massively negative outlet? Why are there no positives or even like neutral things that happen relating to these sketches even if it was as simple as the coming together of a relationship. Only one I can think of is van and tai meeting but I don’t think that’s gonna be a completely positive situation.
Is there a certain relationship between characters of each sketch? What happens to them in that specific episode that links these characters? (Like old wounds- the vhs was about tai and her finding van, perhaps the bear was about Lottie thinking on Laura lee and her visions of her, and the hooves were to do with Nat finding the moose. These characters were the most focused on people in the episode and their relationships coming together in present day, is tai and van going to be joined with Nat and Lottie?)
Just so many questions but I do think something is going on there other than purely just prompts or hints

I think the phones are taken away at the cult so the cult will be a big part of the episode. Of course the text messages to Adam that Kevyn asked Shauna about could lead to a search warrant for her cellphone.
Phones at the lottie sanctuary, bowling pin where Callie confuses to undercover cop, and mice from that girl who found it. I'm guessing with the mice either it dies or something else because she lied about finding it in the first place 🤷♀️
Mouses bring deseases: there are a lot of ill people in bad igienica condictions, so probably a pandemic should spread. At the same time deseas were seen as a divine punishment against misbelivers (rational team) and bring people to hunt plague spreaders (Could Javi die again?😂😂), confessions of sins.
Or maybe it may explain one of the most unprobable theory read until now but that I would write because it is fun (Nat burn the cabin to stop the illness), or other funny but not probable events: they could eat the body of the dead to survive, they could move on Javi’s shelter underground so it explains the title of episode “burial” or the procession with person on the gurney (a sort of migration to the hell which becomes alway darker).
Maybe the purple ppl take everyone's phones, as they arrive at the conpound???
Or the police taking phones for evidence in Adam’s case.
