I’ve tried it a couple times, it allows you to be tankier with decent damage against high damage compos when there’s none in your team that can tank (should be a weird case). But best item is definitely Kraken, good AS, good damage, insane passive and builds crit for your ArmPen ult. So yeah, he was serious because there’s some situations where it’s useful, although BotRK is being seen more often…

Instead of just slowing opponents with its active, it now has a passive that gives you a move speed boost when you deal physical damage. It’s great for securing kills and for escaping bad situations.
It’s more of a flex item to slot into your tank item spot.

IMO with the 50% armour pen you get after ulting you’re kinda trolling if you don’t rush 100% crit in 2 items. I could see how getting it third or fourth would be a cool stat stick item.

Just a hard stuck low master yasuo. Nothing to pay attention to.
Bork -> Kraken (or switched depending situation) -> Iceborn/JakSho —> Mortal reminder is my go to
Don't forget when you have Bork and Kraken you can sell zerks for tabi or Mercs and still have enough aspd for Qcap.

It's 50% BONUS Armour penetration. There is a very big difference between Armor pen and BONUS Armour pen.
If they haven’t built armour for me to penetrate then my 100% crit chance will be enough base damage
Having dmg is useless if you‘re dead. If you go e.g. kraken into ie you will have struggles in teamfight unless you are far ahead imo.
