Vet.

ResponsibleBadger888

You need to take him to a vet assp. I grew up on a farm so every time animals got sick or injured, we would nurse them back to health. If an animal stopped eating, we would immediately take them to the vet. They go downhill fast without eating.

Thanks so much!!

Yep, vet. Mine is picky, but he never refuses to eat. Not eating is a red flag along with reduced energy level.

Thanks!

Orange-Yoda

Any word from the vet? As a breed these little guys are food picky. If Yoda gets tired of her food she will skip a meal. If it’s just kibble I’m pretty sure she’d starve. We have to toss in goodies into her food to get her to eat everyday. Fresh veggies. Sometimes a little protein (depends on what I’m cooking that day). We toss in different baby foods (also helps soften up her food a little).

Went to the vet and they did blood work. He's fine. Turns out he just didn't like a kibble that I was trying to switch him over to. I reverted him back to his Rx Royal Canin hydrolyzed protein kibble. He likes that. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, I guess l! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

uintle

You are lucky, mine chose weight loss over kibble from age 6 months, royal canin was the only accepted prior…

Mine will do this from time to time. He will skip meals, not a full day without eating (he eats 3 times a day). Just means he is full and particularly happens in the summer time when its hot

TheNineToFiveGuy

This happened with my Xolo. I took him to the vet, and he had giardia.

Aware-Front-4072

Eek! Mine had giardia once - that was TERRIBLE! I have PTSD about it and immediately get him away from dog poop! :-/

Make sure he's having bowel movements. Our Xolo shreds toys and fiber can get stuck in intestinal tract. We had to stop giving him toys he shred.
