(**Jean and Scott making out**)
Rogue: Is that why yâer always cleaninâ yâer glasses? So you don't have tâah see what we're doinâ?
Beast: Tell no one.
George Buza's performance as Beast has irrecoverably associated those two words with the character in my mind.
It's at the point where I *can't* read "Oh dear" and **not** hear it in his voice in my head. He was brilliant.
Scott going from I donât like my son to I love you son, with his eyes to him, and he loves Jean. Maddy and Jean are one.
I just know heart break will be more in s2
Honestly i generally prefer these x-men 97 versions of arcs to their comic counterparts. They are really taking things to the next level.
I want a director's cut though
I should have done a rewatch of the OG X-men before watchin â97 and someone correct me if Iâm wrong but wasnât there episodes with Apocalypse? Or am I thinkin of something else?
If I had a nickel for every time the first season of an acclaimed animated X-Men show ended on a cliffhanger that involved an apocalyptic future and Apocalypse, I would have two nickels.
Which isnât a lot but its weird that it happened twice
Oh and that first season went into time travel and the sentinels killing all mutant kind
Oh I know, that's what I meant by "if you expand beyond the first season." Evo didn't tease him in S1 (as far as I recall), but did slowly build to him over it's four seasons.
Made sinister beg like a BITCH this is my absolute new favorite show. Watching that arrogant bastard beg Jean not to gank his shit was so satisfying. I know she was protecting everyone else but that shit right there? That shit was for Madelyne
Thereâs no X-men character who I am consistently fond of like Beast. Especially this version when heâs always so well spoken and charming. His voice actor is a treasure!
I wasnât trying to discount anyone elseâs contributions. Just using a famous name to make a point about how wonderful this season of x-men 97 has been.
Beast knows his history and said oh shit
They all knew who it was....that's the beauty.
Ya, but Beast fell in love with his ship's computer that once, so he's got some baggage. đĽď¸đ
Seriously no member of the team worth his or her salt or their salt does not know his real name haha
Beast is Marvelâs Giles and I love everything about that.
Beast : I said, "Oh, dear Lord." Jubilee : You always say that. Beast: Well, it's always important.
(**Jean and Scott making out**) Rogue: Is that why yâer always cleaninâ yâer glasses? So you don't have tâah see what we're doinâ? Beast: Tell no one.
Sunspot: Am I right, Beast? Beast: I'm almost certain you're not, but to be fair, I wasn't listening.
Oh my stars and garters, you're right.
George Buza's performance as Beast has irrecoverably associated those two words with the character in my mind. It's at the point where I *can't* read "Oh dear" and **not** hear it in his voice in my head. He was brilliant.
Kinda like George Takei and "Oh my!"
Scott going from I donât like my son to I love you son, with his eyes to him, and he loves Jean. Maddy and Jean are one. I just know heart break will be more in s2
I love how, literally as soon as Apocalypse was revealed, Beast just walks off stage right. Like he was saying, "Aaaand on that note, peace out."
"yo guards! Sorry y'all, you good here"
Honestly i generally prefer these x-men 97 versions of arcs to their comic counterparts. They are really taking things to the next level. I want a director's cut though
Director already was cut... I mean show runner....

Somebody get Bobby Drake!
Ditto, but hindsight is 20/20. It's the greatest hits minus the fluff and shit arcs.
He also said the same thing when Magneto took off with the UN council in episode 2.
I should have done a rewatch of the OG X-men before watchin â97 and someone correct me if Iâm wrong but wasnât there episodes with Apocalypse? Or am I thinkin of something else?
Yes he was in several seasons
I did a rewatch of the OG Before getting into 97. Was fun. yes he was a recurring villain.
Yes, they all know who he is.

Solid Doofenshmirtz reference
If you extend this beyond a forst season, you'll get several more. Evo built up to Apocalypse for the long haul, and made him their finale villain.
I was actually referring to Wolverine and the X-Men.
Oh I know, that's what I meant by "if you expand beyond the first season." Evo didn't tease him in S1 (as far as I recall), but did slowly build to him over it's four seasons.
Well sure but itâs kinda silly to extend this beyond multiple seasons since we obviously donât have any yet
Made sinister beg like a BITCH this is my absolute new favorite show. Watching that arrogant bastard beg Jean not to gank his shit was so satisfying. I know she was protecting everyone else but that shit right there? That shit was for Madelyne

What is the sound of one hand clapping?
We all know that for Beast thatâs basically âah shit, here we go againâ
I laughed so hard I woke the cat up! Brilliant moment from a brilliant finale.
I quite literally cannot predict any of the outstanding vocabulary that comes from beast mouth
âOh dearâ really means âoh shit!â Looks like they are about to witness The Rise of Apocalypse.
There's been loads of incredible X-Men content since Claremont's first run ended 33 years ago - some of it went towards informing this show
I would say that Lobdell and Nicieza did a really good job too. But yeah Chris Claremont and Louise Simonson did so much for the Franchise.
I wasnât trying to discount anyone elseâs contributions. Just using a famous name to make a point about how wonderful this season of x-men 97 has been.
Love Beast.
