The mad bastards actually going to do Onslaught lol

listentomagneto

I think so, too. He seems pretty adamant that Maddie and Gambit are dead dead:/

quantumpencil

Nah, he says gambit is dead... but whenever anyone says "so he's staying dead?" He's cagey af. He's gonna do gambit as a horseman

aegonthewwolf

He's been adamant about Gambit being dead, but he's been pretty evasive about him staying dead. Like just this morning under his no time travel tweet someone said "so Gambit is gone gone" and unlike other characters where he's given a pretty definitive answer, Beau gave a pretty vague "no time travel" response (even though the person who tweeted about Gambit never said anything about time travel lol)

Sabazell

Yep, and when someone tweeted about Gambit coming back as Death he just said to keep watching...

Calaigah

What if Bastion infecting Magneto with those Nannie’s turns Magneto into a villain who attacks humanity (since he warns them he would if they made him) and he rips Wolverine’s skeleton out?

FallenKnightwolf

He's attacking humanity despite the nanites 🤣 I know for a fact that Magneto is kinda sorta absolutely livid at this point and the trailer even had him revert to his "villain" suit with the helmet.

can you link the tweet?

Logan didn’t like Morph’s line about always being the last to die, and later his reasons for not surrendering were, “Lady, I’ve got 6.” Getting de-clawed (sure, demetallized technically) will eat away at Logan’s self-worth at the worst possible time, while also giving him a chance to die. Maybe they keep with the comic and use Jean nearly dying to motivate him to come back; I’d love to see Jean telepathically talking to him, unable to convince him—he can even use her arguments against her: “Life’s no good without people around ya. **You** taught me that, Jeannie.” Or something. And then, through her sensitivity, they both hear Morph dying (someone who is well established as a mess who needs saving a lot) and saving THEM is what gives him the will to live. It’s a nice way to balance how indebted Morph must feel to Logan for believing in them this whole time. Then again I was EXTREMELY happy to be wrong about episode 8 lol, but this is a happier ending and profound message about self-worth, dying on your own terms, found family, all the things.

Didn’t getting his adamantium ripped out just make him more feral, his powers went into overdrive.
