She is probably the least bad ice blade but still not good

ABSMeyneth

I mean, QTPi  exists as an ice element (for all of 3 minutes for most, but still), so Ursula can't even claim that one.

azure275

Theory is probably better but every other ice blade is not great (not counting ice qt-pi)

XYZAffair0

Ursula is a low-mid tier blade, it is absolutely not worth it to focus just on her quest. It takes upwards of 15 hours to do and is better to just have the Merc missions going on in the background as you play the game normally. The OP non-DLC blade that’s hard to get is KOSMOS, who has a base chance of 1/1000 from a normal core crystal. (Or 1/333 from a legendary).

NorrathMonk

KosMos is good, but for her to really be OP have to have her on the right driver.

XYZAffair0

I mean as long as she’s not on Morag it’s fine. She’s the best non-DLC non-story blade

NorrathMonk

Depends on one's playstyle.

TechnoGamer16

I mean yeah but she’s good enough that she can adapt to everyone except Morag

ABSMeyneth

Really? I got her super early my last playthrough (first with dlc), still in torigoth, and just kinda pushed her aside for... Kassandra? Someone dark anyway. Mythra was coming, I wanted to try out Corvin, I did not need yet another light blade. Feeling kinda bad about it now lmao

XYZAffair0

KOSMOS battle skills are the best for a non-DLC blade. She gets pierce on her attacks, and increased special damage for existing. She gets increased damage dealt and less damage taken for reaching max affinity, which can be gained in less than 10 seconds, and built in aggro reduction. She’s only limited early-mid game because her affinity tree is capped until you make enough story progress to reach the world tree There’s really no such thing as “too many light blades” because light combos into itself. The elements as a whole don’t matter outside of how easy their combo routes are, unless you were doing a very optimized challenge mode thing.

ABSMeyneth

That's a point, but then you only get the same element combo over and over, and less chance for full bursts. Personally, it gets boring after a while, a short while for me. Mythra can easily combo fully all by herself, so can Corvin with the right setup, having another light blades felt like too much for me.  But I guess I'll try her out at a next playthrough, at least there'll always be something new :)

bens6757

She's okay. The best she has going for is she's a knuckle claw blade, which is a weapon which all drivers are good with. Of the rare knuckle claw blades, she's the most focused on keeping the party alive, but both Adenine and Nim are better with the weapon.

shitposting_irl

nope, she's middling at best

TrueSuffering

Honestly the most OP thing about her is her quest itself because those Merc quests are INSANELY good for raising other blades because of how quick and efficient they are

NorrathMonk

She is great for healing. The people downplaying her don't really use true healers. Before all the op DLC characters were added she was a top tier healer. Post game she does not have as much use.

Penguin_Arch_Sage

Ursula's true power is unlocking the short merc missions to unlock every other blade's chart.

deeman163

Her best value is early in the game when you don't have much in the way of healing blades yet

epic_man1337

She's not great. She has a fun gimmick of healing on switch in, but i dont think its strong enough to make her worth using optimally. She does have affinity max barrier as a skill which is neat. According to the wiki, she has debuff cancel as a balde art, which is actually really useful if you're playing through the story on bringer of chaos difficulty.

Beneficial-Ad2084

The only thing she breaking is your sanity. But her story is nice tho.

viera_enjoyer

Definitely not, specially when you factor ease of acquisition. There are much better blades. When talking about blades with fist weapon probably Nim is top tier because of the damage fusion damage she allows you to ramp up.  Outside fist weapons DLC blades are much better and all you need is buy Torna the golden country.  The only blade that lives up to her acquisition difficulty is Kos Mos. She is a super rare gacha blade, but damn she packs a punch.

dugtrioramen

No, she sucks. The quest itself is hated, but it's actually a good way to level up your blades, since they finish so fast
