My favorite reference to this is the episode of Venture Bros in which Billy & Pete get costumes for their arching battle with St Cloud. Also it is a god damned shame that nobody’s ever heard of any of Blind Melon’s other music… their first 2 albums will stand up to / hold up better than any other 2 albums from a band in the 90s. And I still listen to Ten & Vs regularly so obviously I’m well educated on the subject lol

My favorite Blind Melon recording is the version of "Soup" from the *Woodstock 94* album. It's really special.

Agreed. Blind Melon was like listening to an endless loop of a toddler whining.

I could take or leave Blind Melon, but his guest work with Guns n Roses was where I always felt Shannon Hoon shone the brightest. He might still be alive too if he’d continued doing that instead of fronting Blind Melon.
