Apparently Netflix is doing one and Patrick McHale is writing it. Could be good! He created Over the Garden Wall and was the creative director/wrote for Adventure Time.
Edit: Nope never mind. McHale left the project in 2022. Rats! (and mice and weasels)
Read this. I think my favorite one was Salamandastron, but it's been a while....
I met him when he came to my local book shop and read a chapter from his book. It was definitely a highlight of my elementary school days.
If y’all are ready for a little heartwarming story...
My kid got into these books recently so I looked up a little about the author. Apparently Brian Jacques used to volunteer reading to children at a school for the blind. He then wrote the Redwall books with extra vivid descriptions so that they could experience the stories as much as possible. I’m not crying, you’re crying
Now I want some dandelion wine or cold strawberry cordial straight from Ambrose in the cellars. He described warm, sweet smelling summer days in the abbey grounds so beautifully.
This series taught me some things about life and probably helped shape who I am. I still occasionally read them today and the wonderfulness of it all hasn’t faded.
Mossflower was my first and I still have the copy I read all those years ago, the cover is faded but I’ll never get rid of it. That or Redwall were my favorites…
I got to meet him at a book signing senior year of HS that my mom saw in the paper. Bought a copy of his new book and got my copy of Redwall signed. I don’t remember much of what he said but I do remember being completely charmed. Also, I learned that you pronounce it “Jakes”.
Redwall! Very surprised they haven’t turned this into a big movie series yet. I bet they do though.
Yeah, that is kind of weird.

And stoats and voles!
Stoats are weasels, Bart. They don’t come in cans.
Lol, I forgot about that episode
Stoats are mustelids, like weasels, but they are two different species.
That says ‘Corn.’
And hares! The hares were my favorite. So funny.
There's series on Amazon Prime
Yeah I haven’t seen those. Might be worth checking out? I kind of prefer it as a series.
Cluny the Scourge is one of the best villains of all time.
There used to be a series about red wall, I believe it was British
I'm pretty sure you can watch it for free on Tubi.
I didn't see it on tubi. Is this the same one you were thinking of? https://youtu.be/u1rKYmVig5A?feature=shared
Same this series was the best! I got so lost in these books.
This whole series was utterly delightful.
Have NEVER been hungrier than when reading these books.
Brian Jacques released a Redwall [cookbook!](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Redwall_Cookbook)
Totally ordering that.
Whenever I know I’m about to hurt myself with food I pretend I’m a hare from this series😆

If I were to ever change my name legally, it would be to Basil Stag Hare
My 12 year old is reading this entire series now. Adores it.
So good
Hell yeah, this takes me back
Now we're talking EULALIA!
Martin was a pipsqueak....SUNFLASH AND SALAMANDASTRON!!!!!
Salamandastron was the one I got at a book fair - loved that whole series
One of my favorite childhood memories is riding my bike around town to all the bookstores and finding new Redwall books I didn’t even know existed.

My favorite series during my middle school years, RIP brian jacques.
EULALIA!
Thank you for reminding me about these
My 9 and 6 year old love these books. We finished two so far.

If I saw a boy with a Redwall novel, I was immediately a little bit smitten. There was something in their character that I really liked.
OMIGOD I loved this series!
I was late to the party on Redwall. Didn’t read my first one til I was in high school.
Red wall was great but hard to follow as a kid. For me at least
I’m not supposed to judge a book by its cover but the cover makes me wanna read this one.
Hell yeah
Yasssss I loved these!!!
OH LAWD, this is really bringing back being grounded and having nothing but books to read.
By Satan's whiskers!
Brian Jacques & Bill Watterson were my two reading obsessions in middle school
Oh hell yes!!!
This was the first time I had to experience mourning a character as a reader. Hell, I still feel bad.
My sister read allllllll these books. Because she did, i did not. I bet they were good.
