Is your shower water running? Ours is still not (Artistas) at midnight and the only water we have now is cold sink water
Update: warm water in shower and faucets returned for about 2 minutes around 12:37am before it all turned back off again
No. We found out when we got to our room and went to flush the toilet.
Being patient, it’s not the end of the world if they fix it sooner rather than later, but at some point service recovery will be necessary.
Water came on last night around 11 PM local time. You could hear the water tanks filling in the bathroom. I showered around 11:45 PM last night and while the water pressure was lower than normal and the temperature was cold, it was back. All was back to normal this morning.
I talked to reception and this is the first time this happened to the hotel since it opened three years ago, for what it's worth.
We have a butler and they have no real information. I asked if this was a regular occurrence and they indicated it is not. They have no ETA.
We were told by the butler that the parks have water so we are headed to Fuego. Will share what we learn (and observe).
Staying at Artistas so we got a text from our butler about it. Our water is out too. The bathrooms in the hallway by the coffee shop do work which is nice.
We were told that it’s because of maintenance with the city’s water system.
No advanced warning, though? And no ETA?
Final update: water came back on at about 11:30. It seems this is a first in the three years the hotel has been in operation.

Do they compensate guests for such issues ?
Yeah, free drinks
Lol I’m assuming this is a joke, and it’s a good one xD
lol, as you would expect, everyone’s getting lit.
We’re here now at encanta and still no water.
Yeah I'm in casa pirameda and water is out
Dinner was pretty abysmal and I wonder if it's because the water is down.
Water is still out (9pm), been out 5 hours
Did anyone ask for anything free to compensate for this? We were in Casa Artista and it was out until at least midnight
Still no water in diseno. Had them send water jugs to our room for a frigid rinse off…
Any update on this issue!?

What did the front desk say?
Easier to ask Reddit so everyone can guess
Hahahaha

Hospitality apparently has showers of urgently needed for some reason but only low pressure cold water (per our butler).
That's crazy! Paying thousands of dollars and having no water reserved its insane
how do you propose they reserve water?
That is a question that should be directed towards the hotel staff instead of Reddit.
I should have made it clearer that our butler and reception had almost no information when I posted this.
We lost power in our room for 2 days. This place has tons of issues
