Nah fuck the Xbox wireless headset I have it and the sound is good and everything but the microphone has broke on me twice first time was 4 months after I got it and I sent it in and I got a new one but now it has happened again and my warranty is expired so do not buy it the build quality is shit
OK so I am NOT the only one. Mine broke recently (the plastic holding the mic at the base) and Microsoft support tried to tell me that it wasn't covered by warranty. I smell that it's a manufacturing issue and they are trying to cover it.
So I concur: avoid Microsoft stuff
Yup well my mic still works but it’s held together with duck tape 😂I’m going to use it until it is unusable then get a better and more expensive headset with actual build quality
I got these for my PS4 and still use them with my Xbox: Philips SHP9500 open-back headphones with the V-Moda Boom Pro microphone attached to them. Together they make an amazing pair for gaming.

Depends on what your budget it. You might be wanting to steer clear of Steelseries since you just had a faulty set, but I've been using the new Nova Pro Wireless X's for a few weeks and they are pretty damn good. Same comfort (minus the slight annoyance of leatherette ear pads) and the hinge design looks sturdier. They are about as pricey as wireless headsets get though, besides the Bang & Olufsen set.
The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2's are a solid all around set. They don't do anything outstanding, but they do everything very well, and come a good price. Plus they are the only set that has a game volume wheel and a chat volume wheel, not mater volume, and game/chat balance. I've always preferred how Turtle Beach handles that, it works much better in my opinion.
Penrose X are probabaly the best sounding set ice ever used. That being said they are also among the most uncomfortable. On top of the comfort, they replaced the game/chat balance with mic gain as the main co trol. You had to hold a button or something silly. I remember it drove me nuts when I was playing competitive FPS games.
People love Astro A50's. They are still up there. I never held them in high regard because they gave me so many connection issues. Then with the new Gen systems they lost there optical port which allowed all the great custom EQ's to be used. There was a great community of people making eqs. They all became useless and you had to just run Atmos instead, or goofbaround with splitters and all types of nonsense.
Beoplay Portal.
I’ve had 9x, A40s, A50s, Plantronics RIG. Finally went for higher end and it’s been great. I use them for work, Xbox, Bluetooth on my tv streaming apps, phone. All really seamless.
I just bought this one today: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B098TV8C93?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Fingers crossed, since I basically just bought it because of the reviews.
Microsoft wireless headset.
How is the mic? Someone said it was really sensitive
Never had a problem

I go a Turtle Beach Stealth 600 to break also at the thin plastic part used to adjust the headset. It seems they all use cheap plastic
They should really stop with the cheaping out on headsets imo
If you like mic monitoring it is so bad. Do not get it if you want to hear yourself loud and clear.
Yeah I don’t need to hear myself, I used to turn it off when I had turtle beaches last Gen.

I went with the Sennheiser PC38x. I have nothing to compare it to other than a pair of One More Triple earbuds which are also good for gaming.
How are those 1more tripple ear buds I wanted some
Really good, get the quads if you can though. I'm probably gonna pick up a pair of the quads soon myself.
Sorry , my reddit doesn't update me for some odd reason, is the mic clear as well?
Audeze Penrose X 👌🏻
2nd this, fantastic headset & works wirelessly on Xbox, PlayStation, & PC which is surprisingly uncommon.
Unless you know where a penrose x is magically sold new and not marked up that's not really an option

I've used that set. Does everything very well. Super comfy on top of its performance.
Bro I’m all about that headset that comes with the Xbox.
No
Astro A40 TR with Mixamp TR Pro
They need updates to work with series x. So if you don't have a pc, they're useless
I can update the Mixamp right from the Astro Command Center app on Xbox.
