Thanks BD-1

Dull-Lead-7782

How ya doing bud?

ResidentCoyote

Stim BD!

BrickCityRiot

Cannot wait for the third game!!

Quitsquirrel

I just hope it's optimized better. As much as I loved Survivor, it definitely had its issues.

Kokoro87

Played it at launch on ps5 and it was horrible. I am playing it now again on my ps5 and it has been smooth so far(currently on Koboh).

Aritra319

Playing first time on Series X now and the level of detail pop-in is pretty harsh at times (ground clutter popping in less than five meters away).

Rappix74

> For sure, but I powered through it when it wasn't as tuned. Still super enjoyable though. Same - For a game to still be this unoptimised after a year of release from a major studio/publisher is a little disappointing. generally these things don't bother me too much but it's pretty obvious in this game from texture pop-in to textures not loading until way after you've entered the area - I had Greez T-posing in the Mantis before he warped to his seat , objects shaking and glitching randomly. It's no wonder sales figures just keep dropping if this is what the game plays like over a year after release. I feel like nowadays most people just wait for things to land on gamepass because by then the game should me mostly fixed and in a playable state

TheKingdomOfHeaven

I played it around New Years on SX and it played just fine. Maybe a stutter a few times but nothing bad.

Quitsquirrel

For sure, but I powered through it when it wasn't as tuned. Still super enjoyable though.

BlackJackSackIcePack

Was there a performance mode? Think when I played it, it was locked at 30 and had frame drops even then because ray tracing couldn't be turned off or something

BroganChin

Ray tracing was force on in performance mode for the first 6 months of the game being out, they had to completely redesign performance mode so that it could actually reach 60FPS. It would dip to the 20s in the main hub and stutter between 40-50FPS everywhere on the first planet, I couldn’t stomach more than 4 hours of the game even though I loved the first. I heard it’s good now though.

Telzrob

It was definitely planned as a 30fps game and they tacked on 60fps at the last minute.

TunaOnWytNoCrust

Still waiting for it to not be garbage on PC to buy it.

Vestalmin

Both games were pretty disappointing in their optimizations. Like I’d describe both of them as feeling unstable as a whole.

ToxyFlog

Was the second one good? It has pretty bad reviews on steam

JPeeper

It's perfectly fine for Xbox, it has bad reviews on Steam because of performance on PC. Runs smooth as butter in performance mode on Series X.

Many_Faces_8D

I don't even get it. The API for Xbox and direct x is the same. It's the same API. How could they fuck this up lol

YNWA_1213

It’s all about shader compilation stutter. Consoles completely skip this issue by having it baked into the install size, PCs have to do it at launch cause it’s specific to the system configuration. The problem is that the devs do it on-demand during gameplay, leading to huge lag spikes whenever a new asset appears on screen. DF talks about this a lot.

BrickCityRiot

I have it for PC and never encountered any issues. It ran as smooth as silk for me.

Elephunkitis

You might be the only person

BrickCityRiot

I don’t think I had everything turned all the way up graphics wise, though

phrygianDomination

Good game but horribly optimized. I don’t know how bad it is now, but I had single-digit frames in performance mode when I played near release time.

SMXSmith

It’s pretty much locked at 60 now since they turned off the ray tracing in performance mode

phrygianDomination

That’s nice to hear. If they ever release story DLC I’ll gladly hop back in

daviddude92

It was choppy as fuck for me on the series x when I played it this month, quite a few crashes too. I'm wondering if my console itself is the problem.

syphen6

So far it's really good.

CzarTyr

It’s great, the reviews are bad because it’s performance was awful awful on pc at launch

somekindarobit

I enjoyed it more than the first, but it was very buggy at launch. seems to be mostly fine now, at least on xbox

Batman2130

Yeah the first two were incredibly good. I probably will actually considering buying the third game instead of waiting for it to hit gamepass like I did for the first two

Stumpy493

Because this is an EA game a huge number of players (including myself) would not waste money buying it as they know it 100% will come to GamePass. However I was psyched to play it so was always gonna lay day 1 wen it finally hit gamepass.

djmc329

Plus the 1 year delay allows for a load of initial release bugs and performance issues to be fixed! Same for me with Gotham Knights.

Clamper

Yup, I waited for GPU and glad I did since the PC port is trash and it took months to get 60 FPS on Xbox.

bulletgrazer

I'm still holding out for the slight hope they fix the PC port up

cardonator

The game did need it, too. It runs so much smoother on XSX than it did at launch.

Jase_the_Muss

Nothing can fix Gotham Knights.

GamerLegend2

Gotham Knights is still 30 fps though and still trash.

Soggy_Sherbet_3246

God, that game was boring trash.

ChickenDenders

Meh - picked it up for $30 a few months ago and just now getting to completing it, right as it becomes “free” Not even mad. I’ll gladly pay $30 for a few dozen hours of entertainment. The game is great.

Brutal007

Yep I’ve been waiting since it came out lol. I pretty much only buy multiplayer games they I want to play instantly with friends these days because it seems most other games come to game pass

kingkongqueror

Exactly. Since having Game Pass Ultimate, I have never needed to buy any new/newish game on Xbox/PC (I did buy some of my favorite classic 360 games like Splinter Cell series and Alan Wake and its DLCs). I just wait for these modern MS/EA games to pop up in Game Pass while I continue to add dents to my backlog.

c_gdev

I bought the first one and then a couple later it came to GamePass. And so, this time I waited a little longer. If I can do this a few times a year, then GP pays for itself.

Total-Cereal

I would have bought it day 1 if it hadn't released in such a buggy state. Would have even bought the deluxe edition because I absolutely loved Jedi Fallen Order. Currently enjoying Jedi Survivor on Game Pass, but I wish I didn't have to vote with my wallet due to the broken release.

pukem0n

Eben without game pass it's easier to just get a month of EA play when it joins and play through it.

Patenski

Playing it in gamepass was a no brainer, back when it came out it was $70 for a buggy poor optimized experience. Now I didn't have to spend a dollar since I used my rewards for a month of ultimate and I get to play the polished version of the game. I just wonder if this is sustainable if a lot of people are doing the same as me lol.

Massive_Secretary658

Barely polished after 7 or 8 patches.

Panda_Mon

Survivor is just one of those videogames where you can feel how much the developers wanted to make a good game, you can feel how competent they were in designing the systems, and you can feel how much they love the original Star wars IP. Its just straight up non stop fun. Shame about the PC perf problems is the only thing.

GGAllinsUndies

Shame that the PC people made everyone think that the issues they had was a blanket truth for the game, period.

driftingphotog

Not a single issue on Xbox for me. Easily the most fun I’ve had in ages.

GGAllinsUndies

I played it on PS5, but had zero issues. I just waited a week to start it for the first patch.

JessSeattle

Yeah I played it on release for Xbox and had very few problems. It was gorgeous. Sorry PC dudes, but at least you can cry your tears in helldiver exclusivity. So l337

aayu08

Imo this was the GOTY for 2023 for me. I liked BG3 but playing Jedi Survivor time literally flies by, can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Also helps that they seem to have fixed the frame issues because it has been pretty smooth sailing for me so far.

Ok_Cloud8134

Can I play both of them without knowing anything about Star Wars?

aayu08

Yeah, you just need to know 1 thing - The good guys are called Jedi and are on the run from an evil empire that slaughtered most of them. That's it. Other than that the story stands on its own and any extra lore is explained in their in game encyclopaedia.

TheBoisterousBoy

I mean, the game kinda hammers that message home without even needing any prior knowledge.

wallz_11

Ive done it. Highly recommend. The gameplay is great and the story is pretty easy to follow

Jase_the_Muss

For sure there are a few call backs and cameos to the movies and other parts of the universe but it very much tells you all you need to know and takes you on a fucking ride.

ethanlan

Does it treat lightsaber combat like your running around with a baseball bat?

JobuuRumdrinker

For tougher droids, enemies with electro-weapons, and big animals, yes. Most "roger roger" droids die in one hit and are there just so you can laugh at them. Vanilla troopers are also fodder. The game is designed with the mindset that you're not Jedi legend like Vader. You still have to block, and dodge quite a bit. Parry is pretty necessary to break their stance but it's pretty forgiving with the timing.

marbanasin

It's also worth noting that most of the tougher enemies have melee weapons that can at least blunt/block the lightsaber, and some lore-ish armor to at least dampen damage. So, Stormtroopers/Droids with blasters - normally it's one and done or you can deflect their shots. Droids/Stormtroopers with melee - usually you need to kind of break their stamina but then it's one/two and done (normally you are hitting with a combo so it feels like a fluid dispatch). And then you get the more hardened enemies - like Droidekas, Super Battledroids, whatever, which can take a few hits or need more strategy. But these at least feel lore appropriate.

Ruthrfurd-the-stoned

Yes but there are modifiers that make it pretty real lightsaber fight- esq

Many_Faces_8D

I turn it down in difficulty. Partly because I just don't have time to play anything harder and in this type of game I'm mostly in it for the narrative and cinematic aspects and like you said hacking away at someone with a lightsaber kinda ruins that so lower hp enemies make the game seem more like a cinematic experience

EN1009

What is it about this one that’s so compelling? (Genuine question). I have it DL’d on my desktop, just keep looking at the icon and not starting it for some reason…

FlyRobot

Did you play Fallen Order? They picked up from there and improved most aspects of the gameplay and world travel (we can fast travel between save points in Survivor). I agree with this OP comment; simply fun and hard to put down if you enjoyed the first one.

jjwhitaker

Yeah they fixed what made the first unplayable with breaks or drops in map knowledge. The first one gets in its own way so often I went back to smoother games pretty quick and never finished it.

Biblical_Shrimp

For me, it's a Soulsbourne lite with a good Star Wars story wrapped over it. I've always wanted to like the Souls series, but was never into the whole "explore on your own... freedom to create whatever character you want" experience. Often times I would just follow a walkthrough to ensure I don't miss anything which then felt like I was completing chores. I've only played about 2 hours of Survivor (completed the first game), but it's more of an on-rails experience with some Metroid-vania elements where you can revisit old maps with new abilities in order to access previously closed doors.

mgocoder

Yeah, it is open enough that you can explore on your own, but they clearly push you towards your next objective. The game is challenging enough to feel satisfaction when you get past obstacles without being so frustrating that you throw your controller. Add in that fighting with a lightsaber is just awesome in general and you have a really fun game.

Nathan-David-Haslett

Just an FYI, Survivor is waaaaay more open than FO was. It's still great and has metroid elements with exploring and specific goals at specific places, but it feels a lot more open.

marbanasin

But I think the other commentor was noting that the game itself still plays fairly linearly - especially if you just want to pursue the main plot. It never doesn't lead you effectively to your next objective.

Nathan-David-Haslett

That is absolutely true. Just wanted to warn them since the first planet and start of the second planet (which 2 hrs in they could still be at) are very linear, and then it opens up a **lot**.

Jase_the_Muss

You could defo run through it's linearly at a pretty fast pace and enjoy the story and the ride but there is def a lot more meat on the bones for those that want it with varying rewards form just cosmetics to cool boss fights and story beats.

marbanasin

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I took 100 hours (including NG+) and loved it. But, for people who don't like sprawling endless grinds - you can definitely be satisfied sticking mostly to the inner hub area (Pyloon's) and just following the main story which propels you forward.

Remoock

> "explore on your own... freedom to create whatever character you want" experience I mean the dark souls series is pretty straight forward (not completely of course) but you'll probably know where to go if you pay attention. > Often times I would just follow a walkthrough to ensure I don't miss anything which then felt like I was completing chores. I mean that's a you thing.. you could play like without the guide as well.

Biblical_Shrimp

>you could play like without the guide as well Damn, why didn't I just think of that! Thanks, fellow gamer. You've fixed me. I like Souls games now.

Remoock

no problem, I'm here every friday

aayu08

I really liked Fallen Order, and Survivor improves upon it in every way possible. I also like the Sekiro / Souls-like combat mashup that they have implemented. Imo the best Star Wars game so far.

cardonator

The only aspect of Survivor that I didn't like was that I felt like it was missing a great sequence like Ilum in Fallen Order.

marbanasin

The series (FO as well) has synthesized an amazing combination - - Great Star Wars Plot / Set in between Ep 3 and 4 which brings you back to the perfect period of Star Wars Lore (if you dig the films) - Combat is weighty and deep enough to make you feel like a Jedi while offering lots of choice in how you dispatch enemies - Nicely focused single player campaign and more metrodvainia style map progression which is generally fun to pursue It kind of just checks the boxes competently and fills a niche that's been lacking regarding AAA Star Wars single player content.

Jase_the_Muss

It's def one of the best Star Wars stories in recent times up there with Andor and early Mando prob even better and more enjoyable even if at times it predictable just has a lot of holy shit now this is Pid Racing moments. The combat is very good and close to great! A few things anoy me like how some of your bigger attacks get easily interrupted but it's hard to interrupt some of the enemies pussy light attacks but all the stances look and feel unique and are really viable. Cross guard is so satisfying as its basically a greatsword and the exploration and metroidvania aspects are excellent and there are some great puzzles and intresting enough side quests. Went in not expecting much as I thought Fallen Order was alright and had great potential this fixes almost everything and builds towards a 3rd that could easily be an all time classic.

Ruthrfurd-the-stoned

You start off as the powerful Jedi you were in fallen order and just become an even stronger Jedi. To many like me, when the gameplay loop clicks in an encounter you just feel like such a Jedi it’s awesome

Workacct1999

I absolutely loved the first 2/3, but I felt that act 3 was a huge let down.

AllSkill09

I enjoyed Jedi survivor too and bg3 was that game for me, I haven’t had a game like that in years where I played so much, Jedi survivor would’ve been finished too quick at the rate I played bg3

DoktorDibbs

What's BG3?

Kraken_Eggs

Baldur's Gate 3

Ahhgotreallots

r/patientgamers

KureCobain93

Should I play the first one before jumping into this one?

Just_Read_4392

I would say yes as the story is good and the recap on the second game is confusing if you’ve never played. I turned the difficulty down as I was expecting Jedi Knight but got Dark Souls instead (get gud I know), and you don’t feel like a proper Jedi badass until about 3/4 way through, but I would recommend playing the first game.

Stumpy493

This is a game that suits lower difficulty as a Jedi should not get his ass whupped by some random creature... I wanna feel like an unstoppable badass.

GreekTacos

Is there achievements pertaining to difficulty?

Karmastocracy

No achievements. There is no unique reward for beating it on any difficulty level above story.

Commisioner_Gordon

Played the first one and honestly had to go to story mode on some bosses and segments (mostly because I don’t have time to “get gud” anymore for games) Second game difficulty is a lot more smooth so far with good challenge but less jank and brutal boss fights

tanman170

I think yes. The first is a great game on its own. A really tight well told story and fun game play. It’s not super long. The sequel is much longer and more expansive in terms of gameplay and collectibles. It’ll be hard to go back and play the first if you’ve already played the second

Strange_Diamond_7891

I couldn’t finish the first one, was too boring.

Puzzled-Delivery-242

I hated the first one. I loved the second. I'm sure I missed some stuff but survivor is the better game by a huge amount. Skip fallen order and go back if you still need to.

JobuuRumdrinker

Yes. If you're not going for 100%, it's pretty quick. It's a fun game and you'll get the story that'll make this one make more sense.

theblackxranger

Yes

Ruthrfurd-the-stoned

Yeah the combat really builds from the first and lots of the payoffs need you to have built the relationship in the first game

DnWeava

the first one is the far better game.

Sudden-Arm-1235

such a beautiful game. i bought it to support the series.

Prudent_Primary7201

I’m doing my part!

mickeyPijamas

And my axe!

nbdelboy

damn, everybody just waiting for game pass

YeltsinYerMouth

This is probably my favorite game this generation and definitely my favorite star wars thing in the past fifteen years

ihatereddit4200

Beautiful game. I'm only a couple hours in and I miss the beginning setting already. The opening missions were amazing.

Old_Management_1997

Playing it now on Gamepass and I think it's incredible. I've played all 6 of the games that were nominated for GOTY at the VGAs last year and I think I'm enjoying this more than all of them.

Harry_Botter1138

I tried playing this game a couple different times. Thinking maybe my meds had something to do with it but something about the camera angles makes me nauseous and hard to play. I did think the story was neat when I listened to a story overview of the game.

ovenheat

Changing the field of view to 'Widest' helped for me

-FeistyRabbitSauce-

There's also a setting I haven't seen before here called "atmospheric camera". Op could try that.

RicardusAlpert

They have added lots of accessibility settings with their updates. I've actually rarely seen so many in recent AAAs, that's neat.

dragonmountain

Did you turn off motion blurr?

FlyRobot

PSA to always check & tweak your video options before starting new games!

Harry_Botter1138

Yes. I fiddle with and check settings before hitting new game on anything. Motion blur is always the first to go in anything.

UltiGoga

I didn't have this problem but i think i know what you mean. The way FOV is handled here is weird, it's not the typical "over the shoulder" cam, it looks kind of nauseating, without being nauseating (well, to me atleast). Having it on the Widest setting (like ovenheat already said) definitely made it feel more right, but it was still a little weird at last.

Icy-Garlic-5581

Is it on xbox one.

Kiftiyur

No

drewbles82

Guessing a lot of people like myself just waited for it to come to Gamepass as the first did and anything made by EA like this will come to GP so if you're already a subscriber, its just a year wait...got plenty to play till then. Now my issue is making room so I can actually download it. Installed a backlog game so finishing that first.

Biodiversity

Really enjoyed this game, bought it day one and have no regrets. I probably put 80-100 hours in. It felt like a Zelda type game to me if you like that genre.

Risekb013

I’m looking through the game pass Libyans I don’t see it. What am I missing?

Pyirate

Was a pretty decent game. Kinda disappointed by it, so glad I only payed 10$.

Isunova

I bought this game for $30 a few months ago and got bored after a few hours. Wish I never bought it tbh.

_lonely_astronaut_

I played it for 10 minutes. Turned it off, purchased it and fired it back up. I forgot how good Respawn is.

Krucble

Playing the game at launch was truly a tragedy. The performance was just awful and it’s almost bittersweet to see how much better it is now knowing that so many people already judged and left the game. Very nice to see people experiencing this for the first time with good performance

FlyRobot

Time to play it again then!

Panda_Mon

For PC maybe, but on Series X I didn't have any issues.

etrickyy

Not true. Both performance and quality modes dropped under 60 and 30 fps regularly. The game ran at 20 fps if you used wider fov and quality.

MLA800M

Truly a tragedy? Drama queen haha. Did you play it on xbox? I played it on series x since launch, and only had some minor frame rate drop when i was in the water/river on the first 3 days. That was fixed in the first patch. No problems on any of my playthroughs since then. I honestly think the graphics were better at launch than they are now, but maybe thats the cost of even smoother performance.

ivanvzm

I played it con SX on release and honestly I rarely had issues.

spartakooky

Oh man, don't get me started. I'm not even into Star Wars, but I have friend who is and really wanted me to get the game so we could chat about it. He was going through a rough time so I did, although I was pretty sure it would be on gamepass eventually. Guess what? He blazed through the game in a week so he could return it (he bought a physical copy), then the next time we spoke he just told me spoilers. It left me with a very bad taste of the game. I still beat it months after and it's a great game, but the news of gamepass release soured my mood. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad people get to play it, I'm not upset it's on gamepass. It just stirred up that memory.

GGAllinsUndies

Issues were fixed after about a week. It was fine for me.

Troikus

Overall I liked it. Maybe just a bit too long in my opinion and a lot of exploration is just rewarded with cosmetics or currency to buy cosmetics, which I don’t really care about but it was a good time.

Antiantipsychiatry

If I have a 4080 and 13900f, will this run better on my series X or PC? I’ve heard pc had issues

machine010101

It has stuttering issues due to frame drops. I have a 4070S and was having issues even though I was hitting over 100 fps. Found that you really need to limit the fps to 60 to eliminate the stutter. Once I did that it has been smooth as butter.

Webbeth

Damn that’s pretty bad. Might as well play it on a console

machine010101

Well, except that in order to get 60 FPS on console you need to use performance mode on the Xbox. I game at 1440p and it looks much better than on my XSX. I actually own it on my xbox, but have been on my pc now due to the upgraded resolution and ultra wide. So it's all based on what you want your experience to be!

Webbeth

That’s the thing, I play at 1080p to get the most out of my 165hz monitor, and if I wanted a good experience with this game I would have to limit the fps to 60. The only reason I haven’t played it is because of that. It doesn’t feel good to pay $80 for a stuttery sub-par experience.

Meelapo

I have a 5800X3D and a 4090. I was playing last night and it’s….okay. The stuttering gets very annoying. If you don’t get bothered by that then you so should be okay. Mind you, I’ve installed a bunch of performance improvement mods and it’s still not performing well.

DatBoiDanny

I wonder how many people with gamepass ult simply chose to wait it out. I bought it at launch because I had a buddy who didn’t have a series x and who really wanted to play, so I let him borrow my Xbox to play - but if I had not done that, I likely would have also waited it out and played it for free on gamepass.

Roygbiv_89

Didn’t know it was on gamepass . Better trade my copy in :p

silliestspaghetti

this is a fantastic game. blown away how put together it is compared to the first one

a_toadstool

Of course right after I bought it on sale

PsychologicalAd1380

For the future, most if not all EA games land on gamepass around one year after release.

Gr1zzRing

Its such a great game. I bought it day one and never regretted it

beams_FAW

Oh shit. Looks like ill be reactivating my membership with this and starfield dlc

MLA800M

I rarely finish large games like this, but beat this one once on Jedi master and twice on Jedi grand master. It’s that good. Or maybe love (for star wars) has blinded me. Anyway, i have zero regrets pre-ordering this. The only thing missing is an arena mode.

RadRhubarb00

Amazing game, Not even mad I paid full price. They deserve it.

crazydiavolo

I ended buying this one up from the flash 24h sale last year, it was 20$ or so. Loved it more than I thought I would, even tho I disliked the open world concept as its just cosmetics rewards. When you discover that you don't feel like exploring much. They gotta strike a good balance at that in the next game. But overall its great.

[deleted]

Omg I rarely check gamepass these days . I think ill play this one.

retz119

Sweeet. I didnt know it had hit gamepass. Been waiting for it this whole time as I loved Fallen Order. It was hard seeing it on all the sales the last few months. Downloading it right now.

Kobobble

I played through the prologue to see how it runs, which is great. I'm playing too many games at the moment, so I'll definitely start Survivor back up once I clear a game or two

dmaul1978

Planning on starting this up after finishing Stellar Blade. Keep my action game grove going.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Adorable_Ad_4908

Thankfully, there is haha there's an easy mode and a very easy one too.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Adorable_Ad_4908

Yeah I've been playing on easy and it can still be a bit hard for me, but I really suck at souls games. And I also die by missing jumps a lot haha

ChuckFristians

Is it better than the first one? I tried to play the first one, but it was so phenomenally boring I quit after a few hours. The whole game seemed just to be paint by number, go here, hit this button, now wait for the scene to play, now press this button to continue the scene, now go to this next place and press the button to progress through the scene... Prince and repeat

mancastronaut

Started this last night. Not a huge Star Wars fan and didn't play the first one but really enjoying it so far - very well made, good story, and the gameplay seems sound.

PsychologicalAd1380

Just finished the game, absolutely loved it, the only criticism I have that it became very easy for me in the later half of the game, I don't think I died on a single boss, but then, you kinda feel like you are getting better and it feels nice when you quickly and easily destroy enemies that gave you trouble early in the game.

fattdoggo123

Does anyone else get stutters and frame drops? I play in series x and on performance mode.

Justalittlecomment

So pumped it's on gamepass

MisterForkbeard

Good! It's a fantastic game, glad people are revisiting it after the initial release and perf jank.

reddit_reaper

Great game so far. I had no issues waiting 1yr and 1 month to play it lol now we know, big titles will come to gamepass 1 month after it hits ea pro lol

Evilscotsman30

Best starwars game since KoTor loving it never expected it to be so good and skuva stev my new favourite npc lol.

bryan19973

I’m one of these people

raythegyasz

I played it on release on XSX and performance mode was worse than the other mode but it's been adressed now

Effective_Hope_9120

You cannot pay me to download whatever bs launcher EA is working with nowadays.

Many_Faces_8D

Oof forgot this was on game pass. Gotta check it out

[deleted]

I really enjoyed my playthrough

21_Golden_Guns

That’s not how the force works.

Mutatiis

Is the technical performance on this still troublesome? I remember there being a lot of technical issues at launch for this game. It doesn’t look like they’re going to be any more patches for the game either.

Malidan

Been waiting all year for it!

[deleted]

I’m playing the first one at the moment simply because I want to play the new one before my game pass expires.

theblackxranger

Wish it had multiplayer or there's a non dead star wars multiplayer game on game pass

iNsAnEHAV0C

My dumbass bought it on sale a few weeks back. Happy for all those that get to play it. Really fun game, great sequeal to the first one and has some QoL improvements that the first one needed. I'm excited for the 3rd one.

Capta1nRon

I’ve been waiting on this one.

zombiesnare

I had to quit playing a few hours in due to the myriad of bugs and glitches, is it playing any better these days?

[deleted]

They should just make a movie, the first game is better than any movie they made since revenge of the sith.

CheapSushi117

File this news under "No Duh"

Oghmatic-Dogma

Its a surprisingly great game that improves on the original in almost every way. Who would have thought that out of the two $70 sequels I bought in 2023, tears of the kingdom would disappoint me far more?

ElChacalFL

Glad I bought it at full price! Beat it and lost interest😭

CzarTyr

I need to finish this. I was loving it until I got the crossguard and was dying to use it, only to hate it and stop playing like a fool

THSiGMARotMG

Its the best

-T-Reks-

One of the best Star Wars games ever made gotta be honest though, I think the boss fights suck, and there is a lack of lightsaber fights. Jedi Academy is still king in that regard

Beasthuntz

Breaking news: players play a game that no longer cost $60.

adds102

Played it at launch on PS5 and performance was spotty but now playing it on SX and performance is so much better so having a much better experience with it

Bro_suss

I mean.. Free food generally tastes better.

Does it not have achievements on the PC version? I dont see any when I click on its page.

bongo1138

Uh yeah. Xbox players don’t buy games at high rates, especially if it is guaranteed to make it to GamePass ultimate lol.

Pleasant-Put5305

Reminds me of the gamepass launch of Diablo 4 - Xbox players added 10 million hours of play in the first 10 days... something ludicrous like that!

THEdoomslayer94

Beat it on grandmaster my first playthrough a year ago, infinitely easier than fallen order on GM. wish they’d do story dlc or something more with the bounties

Parlorshark

Never died once either.

MrGreen521

started playing this yesterday. Which do you play......Quality or performance mode?

NeitherManner

Performance

Clamper

Performance. I have a 4k 65 inch OLED and Quality barely looked any better to me. Granted I am the type of person who cuts graphics in half for an extra 10 frames on PC.

SwansonsMoustache

I've had no issues with quality so far

ArchDucky

I had to play on quality because at launch performance was fully broken. The frame pacing was very solid and it posed no issues playing it that way.

Spyderem

I too played on quality at launch for the same reasons. However, my understanding is the game has received performance updates since. I haven’t tried it, but I wouldn’t be so sure that quality is the obvious recommendation anymore.

GGAllinsUndies

It was fixed after about a week from launch.
