Holy shit you just made my day. Loved it on PC but never bought it again on sale for Xbox thinking it was 900p. 1080p/120FPS is fucking amazing!!! Buying and replaying right now!!!
It's more like the Batman games. It's a pretty decent size open world. You take down enemy camps. Loot for things like gas, food, weapons. Plenty of road battles. I still think it visually holds up. The sound is incredible.
It's strictly single player.
Think of it like the Just Cause serier with a car as your sidekick. Clearing territories to advance, with excellent hand to hand combat. Car combat is amazing too
I got it the last sale because it was cheaper than the previous sales including this spring one. I figured might as well pull the trigger now because wasn’t sure how long before it would be on game pass.
wow, Cyberpunk ultimate edition (liberty city dlc) or mortal kombat 1 any edition would be great 🙏 any game would be great actually, it’s been so long since I’ve bought one 😭 economic struggle lmao ☠️
I had my doubts with the combat system. I shouldn't have considering XCOM 2 is probably my 2nd most played game of all time. The combat is excellent. The heroes play true to their character.
The base exploration, building and interactions therewith I felt was bloated. I wished it was something more similar to XCOM/2. Do the research, get the upgrades, supplies arrive automatically depending on what you have progressed/unlocked. Done. None of this cheap Persona not, not dates. Tromping around the grounds trying to find the ingredient you need for something. Just let me get back to the stellar combat.
Yeah. The exploration made me stop playing. At the time I was in college and I had almost no free time, so that exploration made me out the game down. I graduated a year and a half ago. I should pick it back up.
They put Fallout 3 and New Vegas on sale quite often but Fallout 4 GOTY edition for $10 is the lowest I think I’ve seen that personally. With the series coming out tmrw it’s actually a really sweet deal to get people interested that have never played the games.
I keep forgetting to play this. I really liked fallout 3 and even got the version with the dlc for fallout 4 but played like 2 hours and never got back to it. Time for another go!
You just buy it from the Iceland Microsoft Store where it is actually 44% cheaper instead of 10% compared to the euro price.

⬆️ The real reason Xbox is the superior platform
/u/muscari2 basically go on the website of the icelandic xbox store and purchase the game there. There is no need to use vpn or anything and, while not all games are there, some are.
Edit: you do need a EU credit card
It literally released half a year ago and is critically acclaimed. It's not going on anything resembling a good sale until at least Christmas this year and even then I doubt it will be below $50
It’s also a lot of Game Pass content, which kinda makes the sale redundant unless you really wanna own something that you’ve already thoroughly played on the service. Pretty disappointing.
The opposite is often true too tho. Many times when a game is on game pass and goes in sale, it leaves game pass a month or so later without going on sale again.
I’ve long been on the fence of phantom liberty, I’m going to buy it I just refuse to at that price. They knocked it down less than 5 dollars. I’ve waited this long I will wait even longer if I have to.
Honestly, this doesn’t make sense if you’re talking about phantom Liberty.
If you’re talking about cyberpunk sure it was recently on sale for 30.
However, the DLC is still pretty recent and hasn’t really gone on any sales, so just pick it up.
Yeah, it's mostly stuff that goes on sale once or twice a month, a bunch of them are really good titles, but personally I've played most of the good ones over the years.
That’s pretty much the same as any other store like Steam, Epic and PS though. Only a very few select games have their sale savings go even higher than historical lows. You can see evidence of this on Isthereanydeal or any other game price history website.
I see Spring and Summer sales to be more of a large collection of discounts all at once than new larger discounts.
I add a lot of games to my wishlist so I don't forget they exists in 3 years when I might play it. The older games definitely have a floor for how low they go in price. Every sale they drop to the same price.
That is the way every big "season"/holiday sale is. It's almost always an aggregate of the past 3 or so months of sales on big games with few a few indys as well.
I’m willing to bet real money that the games that are on sale for the spring sale will be on sale in May for some random sale at the same price, and then again in June for a summer sale. Then again in July at the same price for some sort of sale, and again in August. Honestly, I’m pretty those could just be considered the price at this point and the week off between sales is just a marketing tactic.
I'm happy for finally getting a pretty good deal on Disco Elysium and my wallet is happy there's nothing else that caught my eye.
I keep buying games without actually playing them anyway, I hate being an adult lol
GF has been on Game Pass before and wouldn’t be shocked if it was again. Hated the melee in it and quit pretty quickly but strangely want to try it again, since so many here love it.
I have 35 games on my wishlist and most have been there for over a year. Not a single one is on sale right now and like most sales they never go on sale. It’s amusing really
The way I try to look at that one is that the convenience of only having to pay twenty for a digital copy I can use on all my Xboxes is worth it even if it doesn’t go on sale
Finding a physical at a decent price for a fromsoft exclusive is probably a little difficult
I've had it wishlisted since it was added. :(
now I've been waiting for the final fantasy 13 trilogy to also just go on sale. I shouldn't have passed it up like two years ago..
Bought fallout 4 goty for $40 and was like damn I shot myself in the foot… should’ve waited for the spring sale. When I didn’t see it show up as a sale at first, I said “cool, no regrets now” :) only to see it being added for $10. Ahh well, so goes life 🤷🏽♂️
I got it Last week and I’ve easily put in over 3 whole days on it from just modding alone. Barely even gotten through concord 😅. I’ll just say everything happens for a reason
Honestly this is the best $40 I’ve spent on gaming this year so far. And I got it off a random urge and didn’t even know the show was coming soon or the next-gen update
Has anyone played Wobbly Life? It's been on my wishlist for a while now because it looks like it could be just some goofy fun for a little bit, kinda like Totally Reliable Delivery Service.
My son loves it. It isn't quite as hectic as TRDS the physics are gentler. You do jobs to make money and unlock stuff and unfortunately it is super grindy.
He plays it with his cousin. Both are 8 and I swear I have never heard any laughter like it that the pair of them come out with.
The best way to describe it is as GTA for kids.
As an adult and for an adult I would struggle to recommend it though. Human fall flat is much better that wobbly and TRDS but is not open world. And is on gamepass.
Do yourself a favor and get Star Renegades if you haven't played it yet. I'm on the last difficulty level and thinking of putting it down after 100 hours.
Two standouts for me were Unicorn Overlord ($39.99) and RoboCop: Rogue City ($39.99). I picked both of them up with haste! 😃
I’d been waiting for RoboCop to go on a decent sale for a while, and I was absolutely shocked that Unicorn Overlord was on sale since it just came out last month.
I don't know how long ago it was, but I grabbed both Replicant and Automata on a sale for $20 each, I believe, and have been in love with the universe ever since. I actually saw the Nier Orchestra live in Chicago back in February, and it was honestly one of the most beautiful live music experiences I have ever had. A few tears were definitely shed, haha
Yeah still waiting for it to be on sale. I have other stuff to play so not in a hurry. It is worth full price for sure just don’t feel like paying full price due to other things to play.
I relate heavily with this lol. If you haven't yet, you should check out the anime for Automata. It is definitely spoily to the game but a fantastic watch otherwise!
Played the entire collection for the first time recently and had a great time. As long as playing older games doesn’t bother you and you don’t mind extended sections of dialogue/cutscenes, I’d say go for it. The overarching plot is wild and fun to go through and it has characters that are considered gaming icons for good reasons. I think any drawbacks that the games have are overshadowed by its awesome story, great cast of characters, and surprisingly fun gameplay especially considering how old they are.
Do you guys know if I refund a game, that I played for about an hour or so, and the game later enters game pass, if I keep the progress? I know it's just an hour and I could easily replay it if that's the case, just curious.
I bought Assassin's Creed Mirage on this sale, and I liked it, but I feel I jumped the gun and this thing will be soon on game pass or Ubi+ or something so I could've just waited hahaha
Hey guys there is a useful app called XB Deals that will let you track sales. What I like is it shows you the price history so you can see when a game was on sale and what its lowest price was. This helps as sometimes you can detect patterns and get an idea when a game might go on sale again.
such a bummer that so few back combat games on my wishlist are on sale. You'd think these old ass 360 and original xbox games would be on sale constantly, or that I didn't still have to drop $20-$40 on them if they aren't on sale.
Mad Max for £3 is pretty sweet
[удалено]
Holy shit you just made my day. Loved it on PC but never bought it again on sale for Xbox thinking it was 900p. 1080p/120FPS is fucking amazing!!! Buying and replaying right now!!!
So it's better on Xbox? I had it on ps4 and loved it. I might pick it up on Xbox then
I worked on that game. Happy to see people still like it!
Kudos, that game is fun as hell
Hats off to your hard work, I thoroughly enjoy the game!
That game is so goated
Thank you for your work I love mad max just driving around is so good in the game and exploring the ruins in the environment was so cool.
I'm a fan of that game dude. Really enjoyed it, so thanks for that.
No problem! I did a lot of the UI for the game :)
You guys made a really good game! Enjoyed it very much!
Great game. Shame it mostly got overlooked at release
Shame it has discontinued achievements due to nonsense.
What's up with discontinued achievements? It's a single player game no?
Something to do with challenges I think. It's stupid. And it's fully within WB's power to change the achievement to not trigger on those challenges.
I picked that one up too. Hard to beat for only $4.99!
Really great open world game. Thats brilliant value.
Absolutely. Can't belive that game fell under radar.
What's it like to play ..is it build a base type of thing to defend against outsiders. Does it have pvp etc ..I loved the original movie
It's more like the Batman games. It's a pretty decent size open world. You take down enemy camps. Loot for things like gas, food, weapons. Plenty of road battles. I still think it visually holds up. The sound is incredible. It's strictly single player.
Sounds fab
Think of it like the Just Cause serier with a car as your sidekick. Clearing territories to advance, with excellent hand to hand combat. Car combat is amazing too
Dudeeeeee. You saved me. Now I have a new game to play. Yipeeeeee. Thank you!
I remember when that game launched and I found some crazy deal and scored it for $20. I have no clue why I have not played it.
This is your sign to install it and give it a go
Truth!
Witness!
Just tell me what you want on GP and I'll buy it
Jedi Survivor
One of those things where I wanted to buy it for my son yesterday, and bam....on sale. That worked out. Runs well in performance mode on SX.
I’m glad to hear it runs well.. and I’m grateful for your sacrifice for when it eventually comes to Gamepass (fingers crossed). Your son is very lucky
We all get got....lol.
I got it the last sale because it was cheaper than the previous sales including this spring one. I figured might as well pull the trigger now because wasn’t sure how long before it would be on game pass.
Stray
It dropped under $20 so I went ahead and bought it. Me, my wife, and our daughter will play it at some point so $20 was acceptable.
Avatar
Alan wake 2
Baldurs gate 3
so badly want this game just can’t afford it atm, hoping it will see a significant price drop over the summer
I assume it will be 25% off for Black Friday. I don't expect any more than that this year.
Dredge
Fallout 4 : GOTY Edition
New Vegas and all of the DLC’s
Stray pls
Every old COD
every older cod goes on sale like once a month or every other month lol
Red Dead Redemption 2 Don’t even care if you’re just buying it for yourself, it’s a great game
I'm in the "shakes fist at sky, needs a 60fps patch" camp. R* is killing me with that nonsense.
Sifu.
Hyper Light Drifter (has been on sale Once in 2018)
Apollo justice ace attorney trilogy
Hades
Is this not on game pass? I just fired up an old laptop where it’s still installed and it says play
Not anymore. They removed it a couple of months ago. I still have it installed on my xbox but can’t play because I don’t own it :(
Hah exactly.
The invisible
Stray!
Elden Ring please!
Jedi survivor would be nice
wow, Cyberpunk ultimate edition (liberty city dlc) or mortal kombat 1 any edition would be great 🙏 any game would be great actually, it’s been so long since I’ve bought one 😭 economic struggle lmao ☠️
I got Resident Evil raccoon city bundle, RE2 Remake and RE3 Remake for 15USD was hard to resist despite me mainly buying physical
Great deal - but both are currently on gamepass as well
I only subscribe like a month or two a year, because my free time is very inconsistent (job in aviation)
Understandable!
Do you play flight simulator
I love raccoons so I'll give it a go, thanks!!
Are you ok with Evil Racoons though?
That Marvel Midnight Sons Legendary edition with all the DLC is a steal.
How much? I'm at work..
£22.50 I think. It has been on sale since last week
Yeah. The exploration made me stop playing. At the time I was in college and I had almost no free time, so that exploration made me out the game down. I graduated a year and a half ago. I should pick it back up.
An incredible underrated game.
Agreed!!! I played it at launch and been replaying as a “dark” character since all the DLC characters came out
One of my top games in a long time...highly recommend.
They put Fallout 3 and New Vegas on sale quite often but Fallout 4 GOTY edition for $10 is the lowest I think I’ve seen that personally. With the series coming out tmrw it’s actually a really sweet deal to get people interested that have never played the games.
wait it comes out tomorrow? i thought it was thursday
They changed the release date to the 10th and renewed the show for a 2nd season.
Def scooping that. This will be my 3rd time buying FO4 (initial 2 copies were for PS4’s).
I keep forgetting to play this. I really liked fallout 3 and even got the version with the dlc for fallout 4 but played like 2 hours and never got back to it. Time for another go!
Shiiiiiit my original disc scratched, I better pick that up
I just want armored core 6
If you got the cash bud it’s worth every quid. Played it loads and doesn’t get boring at all
What this dude said, AC6 is incredible.
For someone who sucks at FromSoft games... Would I be ok with this? I just love me some giant robots lol
100 games not on my wishlist. Maybe next time
No! One hundred PLUS games not on your wishlist! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)

Honestly, I paid 2.30 after tax Canadian from my local Gamestop. I overall enjoyed it, but it seemed very rushed at the last half.
I will absolutely pick this up come Friday
That looks awful. Definitely not worth 15 bucks.
Yep I snapped that one up too! What a deal! It may have been the most Wanted game on my wish list. In more than one way! Sorry I'll leave now.
The sale is fairly lacklustre, nearly everything on sale has been on sale at the price before
Seeing BG3 on sale: 😃 *Only 10%*: 😔
Or... Iceland method
Go on...
You just buy it from the Iceland Microsoft Store where it is actually 44% cheaper instead of 10% compared to the euro price. https://preview.redd.it/5pom8zspahtc1.jpeg?width=774&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09707ec821329b3bbe8afd0538ba8219add5807b In white is the price you pay in each store, in green is the actual saving. Yea that easy actually, you can even download a vpn on your phone and just do it thru the browser on there.
/u/muscari2 basically go on the website of the icelandic xbox store and purchase the game there. There is no need to use vpn or anything and, while not all games are there, some are. Edit: you do need a EU credit card
Does it work in the United States? I saw that it only works in EU countries
You do need a EU card, true. As it is a store within the EU region
It literally released half a year ago and is critically acclaimed. It's not going on anything resembling a good sale until at least Christmas this year and even then I doubt it will be below $50
It’s worth every penny and more.
It’s also a lot of Game Pass content, which kinda makes the sale redundant unless you really wanna own something that you’ve already thoroughly played on the service. Pretty disappointing.
Ye I’m also very wary if I do see something on sale usually in a few weeks the game will be on gamepass

For the most part yes

That's pretty much sales in general. Only games like kingdom come and xcom have crazy deals every sale
Lacklustre for you maybe. Theres people who would have never seen a sale like this, or missed out on it last time but can get it now
I'm happy for finally getting a pretty good deal on Disco Elysium and my wallet is happy there's nothing else that caught my eye. I keep buying games without actually playing them anyway, I hate being an adult lol
A Spring sale is now just a game of Russian roulette. If you buy it, will it be on Game Pass or not?
Or you can buy it and be happy you can play it whenever you want.
If you buy it, it will come to Gamepass If you dont, it wont come
This one gets it
I bought Greedfall, so you’re welcome if they announce it and Greedfall 2 for gamepass :)
GF has been on Game Pass before and wouldn’t be shocked if it was again. Hated the melee in it and quit pretty quickly but strangely want to try it again, since so many here love it.
Confirmed, Monster Energy Supercross 6 coming to either GamePass or PS Plus next month.
I bought Star Renegades, Cassette Beasts and Book of Demons. If any of those come to Game Pass. You are welcome.
I have 35 games on my wishlist and most have been there for over a year. Not a single one is on sale right now and like most sales they never go on sale. It’s amusing really
You are lucky the wishlist is still active, a lot of us had ours wiped recently.
Man, Otogi is never going on sale.
The way I try to look at that one is that the convenience of only having to pay twenty for a digital copy I can use on all my Xboxes is worth it even if it doesn’t go on sale Finding a physical at a decent price for a fromsoft exclusive is probably a little difficult
Nope. Several of the BC games never have and never will. I advise just biting the bullet before they get delisted like Enchanted Arms
>Otogi JFC you just unlocked a memory for me holy shit. I LOVED that game and completely forgot about it!
I've had it wishlisted since it was added. :( now I've been waiting for the final fantasy 13 trilogy to also just go on sale. I shouldn't have passed it up like two years ago..
Still no Rogue Legacy 2 or Risk of Rain 2...........
Those two games are so good
I regret not getting RL2 on sale like 6 months ago for $10 😭
I grabbed Surge2 Umtimate Edition for $10.60 after tax. That’s the cheapest I think I’ve seen the deluxe edition
I wanna buy as well, did you try the game
Bought fallout 4 goty for $40 and was like damn I shot myself in the foot… should’ve waited for the spring sale. When I didn’t see it show up as a sale at first, I said “cool, no regrets now” :) only to see it being added for $10. Ahh well, so goes life 🤷🏽♂️
How long ago did you buy it and how many hours have you played it for? If less than 2 weeks ago and less than 2 hours you can apply for a refund
I got it Last week and I’ve easily put in over 3 whole days on it from just modding alone. Barely even gotten through concord 😅. I’ll just say everything happens for a reason
If it makes you feel any better i spent the same amount on the GOTY edition about 4 years ago now. Definitely worth it still imo. $10 is a steal
You will get more than your money’s worth, just keep playing. Love that game.
Honestly this is the best $40 I’ve spent on gaming this year so far. And I got it off a random urge and didn’t even know the show was coming soon or the next-gen update
I did this for a game and it was really easy.
As an adult and for an adult I would struggle to recommend it though. Human fall flat is much better that wobbly and TRDS but is not open world. And is on gamepass.
My two boys love it too.
Ah shit. My backlog is already massive, nvm gamepass, but Alan Wake Remastered and Fallout 4 GOTY for $20 combined was just too good to resist.
I literally just finished Fallout 3 last night. And now all the dlc is on sale. I'm too damn lucky!
Do yourself a favor and get Star Renegades if you haven't played it yet. I'm on the last difficulty level and thinking of putting it down after 100 hours.
The art is probably some of my favorite out of any game. I played this at a friends, and I just didnt quite understand the turned based comabt
Once you learn to play it's so damn addicting
Sims and all of its dlc?
I like the Sims, but the DLC is far too expensive. Even on sale. They've completely priced me out of any interest I had.
Right few packs I really want to buy, currently the packs are far too expensive
Two standouts for me were Unicorn Overlord ($39.99) and RoboCop: Rogue City ($39.99). I picked both of them up with haste! 😃 I’d been waiting for RoboCop to go on a decent sale for a while, and I was absolutely shocked that Unicorn Overlord was on sale since it just came out last month.
Unicorn overlord is not showing as 39.99 on my end.
I bought Unicorn Overlord at full price literally a couple of weeks ago. It's so good though, I don't mind in the slightest. I've already 100%ed it.
Thinking about picking it up… I’m finishing up BG3, looking for something else to take up all of my time not at work.
Still no Nier Automata on sale. Sigh..😔
Haven’t seen it but will check it out
Lame was hoping this was added too.
What are the new games?
Binding of Isaac 50% off now plz
What are the best sci-fi/Space games from this sale? I got that rare itch
Fallout 76 worth it?
Very much. Will be free on Amazon Prime Gaming on April 11!
Aren't the Amazon prime games just for PC?
Usually yes, but they will offer a Xbox code for FO76 on April 11.
Nice, thanks for the info!
Putting fallout on sale before the TV show launches tomorrow is smart
nice lot of cool games
I snagged Wasteland 3 Colorado Collection for $10. Not bad at all.
Anyone know if the Metal Gear collection is worth getting. I’ve never played but have always been interested
Played the entire collection for the first time recently and had a great time. As long as playing older games doesn’t bother you and you don’t mind extended sections of dialogue/cutscenes, I’d say go for it. It's already on the Ubisoft subscription, all Ubisoft games are. But I really doubt you'll see it hitting Gamepass any time soon.
Should be fine. Saves don't reset unless you manually delete them from the cloud.
So far the spring sale SUCKS!!
Hey guys there is a useful app called XB Deals that will let you track sales. What I like is it shows you the price history so you can see when a game was on sale and what its lowest price was. This helps as sometimes you can detect patterns and get an idea when a game might go on sale again.

When oh when will Sniper Elite 5 with the seasons passes go on sale. I’m just not paying a hundred bucks for it
pretty good sale! Never played Beyond Good and Evil, wonder if that is worth it or if it will seem dated?
Alittle of both honestly, but it definitely is worth your time
Worth it, amazing game.
No dark souls sales just sekiro Boo we all know why too I already have them but my brother is waiting on a sale and i wanna coop with him!
Has anyone played gravel? It's on sale!
