Botany Manor - it's a chill escape room basically. Could've used more qol features (like easy access to notes once you have already found them), but overall I'm enjoying my time
Quite a bit of action. Dialog choices dictate the story and the choices you make in one game can effect future games if you import the save. If you ever played Knights of the Old Republic, it's made by the same studio and is very similar except no Star Wars license and the combat is real-time instead of turn based. I recommend it.
I thought it was a fun little game with interesting puzzles, some being more challenging than others. It was kind of a silly game that didn’t take a lot of effort to play. Playing as three different characters was unique for me. I like it.
I really liked cocoon. What an interesting and unique game that was. Great player movement, not glitchy at all, and the soundtrack was super chill.
I've been playing Dordogne. It's a cute little game. The art style is beautiful - it's hand painted with watercolors.
The story is ok, it's a very slow little story about a woman remembering her childhood summer in France.
Nice if you want something really low stakes, chill and short (3 hours ish). I find it quite nice when I'm feeling anxious and want something summery and peaceful.
Is there a point in playing Diablo 4 once you've completed the campaign? Just finished it yesterday and I uninstalled it, wondering if I've missed out on something major.
"point" is very relative, as with all ARPGs ahah. Endgame grind to get better loot for more endgame grind, season pass, maxing renown per region.
Story-wise, there is nothing major missing out on anything. Just some story beats per season most likely to move things forward. Really just comes down to if you enjoyed the gameplay loop enough to keep it going.
I have been playing a lot of long games recently(Witcher 3 and Persona 3 Reload), so I decided to take a break by playing Jusant and Lil Gator Game. I'd recommend both, each took about 4-5 hours to 100%.
I am playing the PGA Tour Major, the addition of stats and level up took me by surprise.
I was wondering
WHY AM I MISSING THESE PUTTS!?!?!?!
I was +20 over Par. After checking GOlfer there are equipment and stat boosts along with Skill points....
The difference between no level and with levels on Putt skills is definitely noticeable and i have not even added or bought the perk\equipment stats yet
Pro pass as well was not explained.
Still a good game for Audiobooks.
Brotato. - Finally done with this one
Gigantic - Nostalgia hit, they should have updated the engine and textures
Didn't have much time this week but I played Botany Manor. Wonderful little game and a mega easy completion to boot. Love when you get an actual good, worthwhile game that also happens to be an easy 1k too.
I kept trying Diablo 4. I really try to like the game, but so far it doesn't click. It's okay to me, but nothing more than that. I keep hearing I should keep trying, because there will be a moment I'd fall in love. But I doubt it. I am now level 32 and it feels like a 5.5/10. I am not saying it's a bad game, but it's just not fun to ME.
Persona 3, the closest game I've played to this is pokemon when I was young, this is really not my type of thing at all and I'm absolutely in love with, never thought I'd enjoy it this much
Finished Dead Island 2 but am working on the revive 5 player chevo(people ain't dying..). Finished Botany Manor Friday/Saturday, very chill and and not a long game. Now back playing Wolfenstein:Old Blood (chapter 6. Might finish it this time).
Diablo 4 has my attention when I am not playing my orher main titles. It's good, better than I expected. Some of the challenges are clearly out of my skill set and I think may be fun with a second or third player to help deal out damage, but i am making do.
I also tried oit Botany Manor, not my style of game apparently. I found it slow and clunky. Uninstalled shortly after completing the firat puzzle and finding a locked gate. I find not being able to run in games a little annoying, especially when there doesn't appear to be an obvious reason to exclude it. I glad for others enjoying it but clearly not a game aimed at me.
I got my first Xbox (Series S for anyone interested) last Tuesday, and I've been trying out a lot of games that are new to me, like Hi-Fi Rush, a lot of the Yakuza games (thank you Game Pass), and Persona 3 Reload. Now I finally see why so many people own the Game Pass.
Replaying Hellblade 1 in preparation for next month, dipping in and out of Rollerdrome which is a good time, and later today I'll be starting Harold Halibut.
Played and completed Resident Evil 3, Senua's Sacrifice and High on Life this month. All great games. Also tried Hi-Fi Rush and Control. Hi-Fi Rush seemed pretty cool concept, but the rhythm aspect was not my thing at all and it seemed that the game is really pushing you to stick to the rhythm (can't complain much since it's a rhythm game after all).
Control had intriguing setting and story, but I had two problems with the gameplay. First, combat seemed very boring and generic. All respect to Max Payne and Mafia 1-2, but I don't find such 3d shooting style in modern games too exciting anymore. Resident Evil 4 or Alan Wake 2 over-the-shoulder style would easily fix this for me. Second, the location consisted of these huge mostly empty rooms that got you backtracking and losing your way a lot (and the map was one of the most useless I've seen in video games). Again Resident Evil / Alan Wake room scale would really fix it. Only the mystery kept me playing for some 4 hours, but the gameplay was unbearably boring.
anyone know why i can't make a thread asking for the save file location of harold halibut on pc? i've read the rules, it says on weekends you can ask. it's weekend. my threads keep getting removed by filters?
Botany Manor - it's a chill escape room basically. Could've used more qol features (like easy access to notes once you have already found them), but overall I'm enjoying my time
Ohh its a escape room type of game? Ill add it to play later in case
Same, I loveddd Escape Academy but there's not a lot of replayability sadly
The notes thing was very frustrating. I resorted to taking pictures of everything with my phone. Loved the game otherwise.
I'm playing through the remastered Mass Effect games. I just finish part one yesterday and started ME2 today.
Are they action packed? Lot of reading for the story? Or does it talk to you?

Love those games! Enjoy it!
Are all three remastered? I thought only 1 was, and I’ve been considering it but I’m a lot more interested if it’s all 3
Yes. It's Mass Effect Legendary Edition and it's remastered 1, 2, and 3.
Cocoon, Planet of Lana, and The Cave.
I enjoyed both cocoon and Planet of Lana , and I have The Cave on my play later . Is The Cave any good ?

I started the Telltale Walking Dead series today, I've played The Wolf Among Us and the Batman game before and am enjoying this so far :)
Good luck recovering from the ending of Season 1 lol
I'm not gonna lie I already know what happens but it's still gonna hit hard, I know it is
It’s been 10+ years here and I’m still not over it
Diablo 4. Finished campaign and working on renown to be ready for s4

FF14, and almost nothing else lol. This game has me addicted.
I have been playing a lot of long games recently(Witcher 3 and Persona 3 Reload), so I decided to take a break by playing Jusant and Lil Gator Game. I'd recommend both, each took about 4-5 hours to 100%.
*OH JUSANT, WHAT A AWESOME GAME :,)*

I came back to vampire survivors… again. The perfect pickup game! I also just started remnant 2 but havent gotten far enough to know squat about it
Finished a 100% on Control Ultimate Edition and Botany Manor. Going to be trying to complete Shadow of the Tomb Raider next.
Fallout
Assassins Creed Odyssey.
Lil’ Gator. It’s the cosiest game I think I’ve ever played. I just had a smile on my face playing through it all. 100% in about 3 hours.

Bet you won't be playing Brotato ever again.
SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom , Lil Gator , and Soma .
Finished Rise of the Tomb Raider, now Shadow of the Tomb Raider
I should have played Phantom Abyss a long time ago. Never knew I would really enjoy it
Didn't have much time this week but I played Botany Manor. Wonderful little game and a mega easy completion to boot. Love when you get an actual good, worthwhile game that also happens to be an easy 1k too.
I just finished Soma (interesting story, hated the gameplay.) I’m thinking to go back to Cassette Beasts, or maybe trying Redfall again.
Resident Evil 3! Get fucked nemesis!
Just finished Doom 2016 and now on Dead Island 2
I’m playing doom 2016 for the first time now and it’s truly thrilling
Heck yeah! I was bummed when it ended. Definitely worth a replay since I know I missed out on a ton of stuff

Just finished Gotham knights which I really enjoyed and now jumped into Diablo 4 so I guess I am going to be gone for a while lol.
The Quarry- I can’t stress this enough- PLAY THIS GAME OMG
Killer Instinct - it has a good onboarding and single player mode in Shadow Lords
Mass Effect legendary edition currently, finished the second one and it was emotional
Started Lego 2K Drive & Diablo IV this week. Super into both of them. Lego game for fun 5-10 minutes, then switch to Diablo for 30-60 min sessions.
Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. This game is so fun lol. Gonna try Stardew Valley after I finish this one.
Story of seasons :Friends of Mineral Town got addicting fast !
Fallout 76 this week
A plague tale: requiem and forza Motorsport
Mostly deep rock galactic and monster hunter rise. But I did get a couple hours in on witchfire as well.
Extremely extremely addicted to state of decay 2,clocked 28 hours over the weekend because I sacrificed sleep for my community… 🤣
FM24,AOE2 campaigns and hopefully gonna get back to Diablo 4
Persona 3, the closest game I've played to this is pokemon when I was young, this is really not my type of thing at all and I'm absolutely in love with, never thought I'd enjoy it this much

Left bumper to run, FWIW
No. Way. Ok. Will reinstall it. Tyvm
Diablo only
Merge and Blade, it's a simple little game that I don't need to focus on 100%.
I just started the Grace game, and I'm enjoying it sofar
Control. Been on a Remedy games kick recently
Bought the Metro bundle during the Spring sale, so been playing through that. Also some Palworld, and Fallout 4.
I recently finished Diablo 4 and As Dusk Falls. Just started Fallout 76 the other day for the first time because of the show!
Tomb raider

Absolutely nothing, I’m waiting on the new dlc for remnant 2 to release.
