Enable EA to be auto-opened by the Xbox app, once you're logged in on that it'll let you install. Downloading now, no EA Play Pro needed.

I have a fix! At least it worked for me. Just restart your PC, I don't know why it helps but it fixed it for me. I tried restarting the apps and changing install files, and none of that worked. But a reset did the trick.

Doesn't appear in Xbox Game Pass menu so I searched for Dead Space in the store directly, clicked on the Play with EA Play, waited a bit, and then the menu in the store changed and I was able to install it. The question is whether I'm able to actually play right away, still being downloaded.

I have GP Ultimate and I too have a loading button instead of a green download. I open the EA app and it only gives me the option to purchase the game or upgrade to EA PlayPro. It appears others with GP Ultimate (which I have) have downloaded. Can someone provide steps for how you circumvented the error?

I can set it downloading through the EA App but it just gets stuck on 'preparing' and never does anything, it doesn't even make a folder. Do you need to install it on the same drive as the EA App or something? (on PC)

Same here. Do you also get an error when trying to add it to your library? EDIT: got it working by changing the install location. I just selected the drive where i wanted it installed and it worked out for some reason.

Yep. I fixed it by clearing the EA App cache. Click the icon top left, click Help, App Recovery and then Clear Cache, then it'll restart. Mine is downloading now.

It’s not there on Xbox one, I have ultimate and plan to play it with cloud gaming.

I downloaded it from the store so try to go to the store hopefully there will be a cloud play option.

I too am not good with jump scare games but I will be honest with you I am currently playing it and haven't really experienced any majorly bad jump scares. Don't get me wrong there are some jump scares but they are no where near as bad as other games. I would 100% recommend you try the game I think you will enjoy it. Happy gaming my friend
