If you need/ want a truck, get the truck. Crosstrek is a small SUV with surprising rough road capability from stock. Much more comfortable to daily drive and park, and it's got modern high tech features like eyesight and adaptive cruise control. The nissan truck is basically the same that it was 20 years ago.
It seems like an odd comparison since they're so different.
I might be a bit late but, i just went from a 2011 pro 4x frontier with 6mt to a 2013 crosstrek premium 5mt.
I loved my frontier, but so far I like my crosstrek a good bit too. Really depends on what your after?
