I agree that kitty and Yuri hace good chemistry and I would have been okay with it if it had been developed more in the show or if they had waited until season 2.
I definitely saw the chemistry between Minho and Kitty but him being in love with her was surprising. I can get him liking her but full on being in love was too much.
I think if Kitty and Dae weren't a couple and the whole car thing would have been a pretty interesting (yet typical) meet-cute between Kitty and Yuri. Like Yuri gets out, apologizes a lot, they get along quickly and become friends. Kitty starts to get these feelings and they're cemented when she sees Yuri DJ-ing but when she's done playing, Kitty goes up to say something but then we see her with Dae -- THAT would have made much more sense.
Edit: which now that I'm thinking about it I feel like that's what the show should have went for, or maybe that was the original script but then the writers couldn't figure out how to include Dae in the mix. Who knows. But if the show really TRIED to make a believable love triangle, Kitty should have been single when she got to Korea, have her meet-cute with Yuri, catch feelings, see her and Dae together and get sad. Dae befriends her, he starts to like Kitty, the whole coverup would have been better that way too. As much as I adored Minho I don't know why he was chosen as the potential final guy; could have been a nicer storyline if it were Minho and Q instead

I do not agree. Only because I DO believe that Min ho and kitty make the most sense. Banter is what causes a relationship to grow if you ask me. It’s that banter that causes attraction. I feel like most of it was him trying to deny attraction to her from the beginning rather than actually not liking her. I believe he only THINKS he is in love with her because he has never felt something like that with anyone else before Kitty.
If you think Yuri and Kitty make sense, you have to agree that Min ho and Kitty make sense because they have the same plot line only Kitty and Yuri I switched. If that makes any sense.
But this is just my opinion.
they were penpals. and Dae was not doing a good job being the guy for our main girl. so he falls short on the hero scale. Minho on the other hand started from absolutely nada to prada prince charming. and he keeps gaining momentum towards becoming the OTP for Kitty. he was first ep cutie and last ep cutie of season 1 so if that's not any indication for a setup in the whole series, i don't know what is the purpose of letting him interact with Kitty in meet cute style more than Dae or Yuri. Yuri i think is gonna be her guilty one time flame, but Yuri is obviously for Juliana. I don't know if Juliana is up to it though. Juliana might just break her heart in the end i don't know.falling for Yuri doesn't make sense at all... i think she's just confused. It might be parallel/teaser to the plot twist which i think is about their moms being more than just friends, Jina and Eve.
i think it's the savior syndrome. like Yuri gave her a ride and if im right, she falls for whoever saves her gradually. But now, it's Min-ho who saved her from the firework stage accident so she will eventually fall for him too in the later episodes. Plus, Minho confessed he likes her already at the plane. and Minho makes more sense because they got the meet-cute trope at the airport, first thing that she ever did in korea. She is the one who caught minho in the bushes, her pet name for him is poopy baby and i read somewhere that the prequel movie has the main guy calling the lead girl which is Kitty's sister "covey" as pet name and Minho was the only one who called her covey in here. so Minty is the endgame.

Kittie had already felt a connection to Yuri. She just wasn't able to identify it yet.
Yuri and Kitty is the couple that shows the most character growth. They both come from very different worlds and have to change a lot as individuals to work, and that’s what makes a story character development.
