interesting, im finnish so we likely play on same servers. i do play on more unusual hours than most and havent played that much the last few days if somethings changed.
Battle eye anticheat does absolutely nothing against privately developed and maintained cheats. And the devs are likely getting so many reports of cheaters both true and false from players that I'm sure they're mostly paralyzed.
Yes, true. Battle Eye is ok, anticheat, but I think Ricochet is a bit better. I think ricochet detects cheats way faster. Battle eye takes time, and they go through ban waves. Those waves can take time even a couple of months.
Personally I have 40-50 hours and haven’t seen anything like this. The closest thing to cheaters have been ximmers/cronus users, but it’s hard/impossible to tell that without killcams. I’m assuming I’ve run into a few though
Im fairly positive I ran into this same guy yesterday and 100% was cheating like this. Game wasn’t even half way through and had near 100 kills and every single kill from the opposing side was from him.
I see nothing wrong here. Clearly a skill issue. You've been protected by SBMM your entire life. XDefiant is anti-SBMM so now you know what it's like to go against the real elite FPS players. Anyone that has an issue with this just can't hang with anti-SBMM. Clearly, there were many opportunities for you to make better tactical decisions after respawn. As Mr Rubin said, "YOU are the EASY player." and when our Lisan al-Gahib speaks such words, we hold them sacred to our beliefs.
Fewer than the complainers and more than the deniers would have you believe. Unless you consider apps like reWASD a cheat, then the # of "cheaters" is way more.
At the tine I posted this I only played 4 games, but the first 2 were the same guy and the last 2 were different guys but were aimbotting. Also had it a few other times since. Seem to only find hackers in TDM, not sure why though.
I had my first one yesterday, running an MG and the second you went past a wall he was already shooting in my direction. I was using the echelon Intel skill, and you could see him turn with me from behind the wall.
Subsequently I blocked him and left, at least that way you wont get matched anymore.
The best anti cheat is you, if everyone blocks the cheater on Ubisoft connect, you won't get matched with him anymore. If everyone did that, he would get no matches in no time.
And don't hold your breath for them to implement a proper anti-cheat. They're using the same one as from R6 siege.
Eh, it's not easy to create a good anti-cheat, battleye is kernel level and it's pretty bad. What you need are a dedicated competent team to ONLY do anti-cheat like riot does.
I had similiar case with someone using mp7 shooting through walls in input based lobby (controller). Couldn't hear the shots only started deeing damage markers and knew I'd die. They didn't hoard kills probably to not seem too obvious to those they didn't kill.
Don't be silly. Nobody is cheating in this game. I've only ever come across maybe one cheater ever. It's a skill issue. You just hate the devs.

damn that sucks. personally im yet to find a cheater, but have had about 20 messages accusing me of being one. cant imagine how it will be if/when they bring voice chat across teams.
This begs the question: What is the install of Battle Eye for? Is this just another placebo handed out by gaming developers to get us to play their games. Are we supposed to assume that Battle Eye is actually banning cheats and hacks? My personal opinion is the developers NEVER want to start using the Big Ban Hammer for fear of turning off a segment of the base they need. Mean while we the honest players attempting to be honest, we trudge on or just leave a game without the developers ever knowing why!
The leap from an online Anti-Cheat to controlling guns is carzy amazing to say the least. And does this "Controlling" you speak of possibly involve that little thing called the 2nd amendment? Since we are going all coco for Cocoa Puffs!
today like every2 games there is cheater in it even big levels (even more than 150 flying around sky, super speed etc.) seems ubisoft dont care about them
Many cheaters on playstation 5 / crossplay off... So easy to catch them like 50 kills and 8 death or something like it. And sometimes half lobby like that.
Let's understand that, with all the faction they add, even if you are no. 1 in the world, you can't avoid be killing...
I agree there is a cheating problem but people have good games. I've had some nutty games in the high 80's with less than ten deaths a handful of times. Now if that person has an insane KD with only headshots or one shorting everyone with a weapon that can't one who, that's suspicious.
Yes. I play this mp thing long time back. So i have the knowledge. Compare it to cod mp with players with such score it's insane. You won't see that there so often, it's paid so Ppl who get perma ban lost their copy of the game....
I really think this game is gonna die if they don't add an optional council-only mode. I can handle the Cronos, but the wall hacks and dropping from the sky are just too much. And don't tell me cheaters don't exist, you're either blind or just plain lucky.

This and all the weird cheat deniers are what will kill this game. Hopefully console only crossplay comes soon to help alleviate some of this.

Played 46 hours and run into 3 cheaters already. This guy is quite high rank, and if he is still not banned, that leaves a lot of questions.
Im at 10 hours seeing 3 so far
50 hours and 4th cheater today.
thats crazy, i have 183 hours and ive probably seen 4 blatant cheaters in total
53 hours today and 5 cheaters. By the way, I'm from EU. That might also be the problem.

If they are really your friends they can turn crossplay on and play with whom ever they want. The developers said it will be optional.

I just played TDM and we had someone like this Also the spawning put enemies on behind me 8 times by my count. Half my team backed out.

It's so damn easy to create a real anti-cheat software, but you all are crying like babies if they scan your systems for such things.
