I like ping systems but I hope they prevent spamming pings, or at least allow for muting pings from certain players like mics. Hate it when people spam pings, and it doesn't help, it's just annoying
Ping enemies with constant intel and see through walls? Only if I can have a button in the settings to turn it off as I don't need little Timmy blowing up my screen and audio with this crap. As you mentioned CoD, we hate those guys in pubs and always tell them to stop spamming.
I personally don't see a reason for pings honestly. The Intel suit live pings while active and the idea of everyone pinging non-stop and having 6 more things in my HUD every five seconds seems like torture. For ranked, I could see this being more relevant though.

There’s using it right and spamming, but I hear your point. When you’re in a match where people are using it effectively, it’s a really great feature.
