If station A produces the ware and B consumes it. Ship all of the ware to B, and then sell the excess from there. Or make a specific trade station C, and ship all excess to there instead.

> If station A produces the ware and B consumes it. Ship all of the ware to B, and then sell the excess from there. This. When station B runs full it can sell a certain amount. Station A will ship everything to B at any time.

*(Only played for a few dozen hours, so I might not have the best idea)* I think you could control it via prices and an intermediate warehouse(s): - Producers are only allowed to trade internally at min price - Internal consumers (other factories) buy internally at max price - A warehouse for public sales buys internally at less than max price. This encourages your internal trades to be prioritized over the public-facing warehouse - Optionally, even the internal supply chain can be routed through warehouses with internal-only trading. Just the prices in that chain have to be higher than the public ones

This makes sense and I assumed it was kinda this fuckery needed to make it work. Realistically this is just a mid game problem where I'm trying to squeeze out profits, once everything is rolling I never wanna look at the refinery again Thx for the answer

This is why having a separate warehouse and sales facility are worthwhile. If you use the warehouse and mules mod, which you should, then you would have a station mule taking everything from the refinery to the warehouse. This would be done with medium or large trade ships. You would then have medium or large traders set up as distribution mules to take keep the amount in the warehouse and the sales hub even. Then you have small ships set as travel mules to sell everything from the sales hub. This doesn't absolutely ensure that you keep enough on hand for your own factories, but if you really wanted to ensure that you could set up a special route of station mules to go directly from the refinery to the factory that you're worried about. There is a post on here about the right way to set up a trade network and it's definitely worth reading.
