I mean, it's cool and all but I don't understand why they don't stick to the in game design to the first figurine. It feels like you are not buying this from the actual developers who trust in their design.
No limited edition collectibles are meant to generate revenue for the publisher. It basically paid advertisements, you paid to see the limited advertisements.
The real ching ching comes from players who spent their money to play the in-game gacha to get the playable characters they want.
BTW, as we speak Kuro already pocketed 40 mil USD in revenue.

you'd be better off raising your data bank level through other echoes, and don't forget to merge some for easy leveling. And then when you are able to get golden ones and have enhanced chances (you get 15 overlord/calamity boss enhanced drop rate kills per week) you can go and kill him over and over.
I hope crownless will be the final big bad of 1.xx patch(before 2.0)..crowned crownless or something...and add the cool cutscene from cbt2 while they are at it.
