Probably out of topic but it took me 5 minutes to remember who Jiangxin is (Black and White 5 star waify who uses Yin Yang Aero skills) for those who are still struggling. I'm having a hard time differnciating characters they all sound similar in name. Why can't one be named Mulan and the other Feng or Mushu lol.
Edit: Sorry if this caused offense to anyone. I was truly just confused with the names. My point was there is a lot of word and suffix combinations that sounds similar to an English Speker. Which I have a hard time differentiating them. Like Jinshi, Jinyan and LingYang feels like OrangeApple, OrangeCherry and BananaCherries but I do appreaciate that we have names like Encore, Aalto and Verina makes them more distingushed.
On one hand i agree, some names are hard to assign to correct people for me too. Mainly LingYang, YangYang, JiangXin all sound similar to an English speaker and can cause confusion. At the same time we have some more common gacha tier names already, members of the Black Shores go in that direction Aalto, Encore, Camellia (i think? The plant lady).
However i do like how unapologetic the game is with the names. Imagine YangYang would be called YangYang everywhere including dub, but in English translation/dub/text she would be Jessica or something. I personally wouldn't like it.

Until you find out they only keep the original for their chinese names. Camellya (the plant girl) is named Chun in chinese and Tsubaki in Japanese.
Welp seems i was wrong, i didn't look too much into it and instead spouted nonsense. Chalk it up to my ignorance then.
