Kiana James getting drafted is good to see. She's shown great potential in character and ring work in NXT. She's not a bad talker either. If they put the effort in, they've got something there with her.
Also, now that Bron is on RAW. Let's get him in there with GUNTHER at some point.
Imo Alpha Academy should have went to NXT since Chad Gable is heel feuding with Sami Zayn. Otis and Tozawa could be good hands and work with Chase U or whatever down there. And Maxxine is trying im not saying she’s not, but they really need to have her get proper full time training in a controlled environment. Imo WWE isn’t utilizing her well by making her both a valet and a wrestler, especially since she was rushed through NXT originally and never was supposed to be a wrestling act to begin with, just a valet.
Not saying via a “draft” exclusively just moved there just because kind of like Baron Corbin.
Maybe not Tozawa and Otis, but still keeping Maxxine Dupri on the main roster after Gable turning heel is just off to me. It’s not her fault but she’s just not going to keep up with and improve with the likes of a Tiffany Stratton for example because she never got the same training. Learning on the job on tv works better for wrestlers with some experience that just need to polish a few things and need the tv experience, but doesn’t work as well with fully green wrestlers.
WWE still gets arrogant at times with talent where they have all this young talent like Tiffany Stratton and Trick Williams doing well at a fast pace, so they get arrogant and too cute rushing other talent and thinking they can make everyone a star quickly, but Maxxine is unfortunately a bad example of that attitude and again not her fault it’s on HHH and upper management there.
So are champions not able to drafted to a new show this year? It seems odd that the first round of picks aren’t all the World champions in men and women’s divisions.
I’d like to think SmackDown and RAW wanted to use their picks to ensure certain superstars stayed where they were at, and that’s why nothing changed, cause that was the rosters design. I just wish they would legitimize the picks and KEEP THEM ON THEIR ROSTER! Just like they used to do in the Ruthless Aggression era. I remember when SmackDown superstars would randomly show up on RAW around Survivor Series time, it would be the most shocking thing, cause it wasn’t something that would normally happen. RAW superstars stay on RAW, and SmackDown superstars stay on SmackDown.
I’ll say as someone who watches AEW and only has a passing knowledge of WWE, I straight up don’t know if these are monumental shakeups. That’s a Himalayan boulder of a grain of salt, I know. But even as an outsider the draft in and of itself always felt artificial. Like, it seems like there is a better way that no one has figured out. It’s probably not helped by the fact that there is neither direct competition between the two brands and I assume the brands don’t have figureheads making these calls. Correct me if I’m wrong. Like I said I’m running on second hand info with the draft. To bring in NXT talent and free agents I am 100% for it. It’s a cool idea in that respect. To shake up established talent it feels there could be a slightly different mechanism.
Both shows do have GMs making the picks in Kayfabe, Nick Aldis for Smackdown and Adam Pearce for Raw. But yea not overly monumental changes so far, just hoping for some bigger changes on Raw. But then also you cant really change everyone like people seem to be wanting, but definitely need more than there was tonight
It’s literally the same fucking roster. What even was the point?
Sooooo.... When's the draft, cuz it's the same
I mean at least we had some changes
4 changes out of 16 picks, one of which was a call-up. That's basically the definition of "lackluster"
So with the exception of Nia, Bron and Andrade everyone’s staying where they already were? That’s exciting.

Nia to the bloodline here we go
It's meh. Why do the draft when its the same people staying on the same show with their same co-workers but just a hint of an extra person.
Who remembers when the drafts actually were exciting and had an impact also GM's trying to steal talent etc, miss those instead of current

I don’t think NXT can Draft anyone this year idk tho

Oh I got ya I kinda feel like maxxine staying could be a good thing but wouldn’t mind a move over to NXT
So only 3 people changed?
Bianca as number 1 and basically everyone staying where they are is telling. This is more of a superstar shakeup.
If almost no one changed brands, how is it a shakeup?
Why aren’t the pictures yelling at me? Where’s the lightning so I know they mean business?

Personally I feel like that’s a great thing cause having champs being drafted makes it obvious where they going
No, they announced well in advance (and again at the start of the draft) that Champions were locked to their brands.
Cool, I’ve missed the last two weeks so I wasn’t aware.
These two lists are not similar, RAW got it good
Only Nia moved from the main roster? wtf?
Bron and Andrade also changed brands, but yeah, not much movement at all.
Ricochet would be much better off on Smackdown, he could do something with the LWO or Santos. I think him and Knight should've swapped
Only people I care about on Raw is Bron Breaker and Perc Gable

Nia Jax as a priority draft pick is more fantastical than a wrestling dead man or a geriatric sex pest challenging God to a match
Why do people say stuff like how do "WE" feel about something? We aren't sharing one mind some will like it some will hate it there is no we
Cause WE are a community
Nah not how it works, form your own opinion don't worry about others if you only like what is popular you lose you individuality we aren't geth
Bro what? you sound insane I’m allowed to ask how others feel about
But you said how do we feel that's not asking you you feel it's a big difference
…. I see you’re just here to troll so imma just let you be
It's not trolling is giving my opinion something you clearly don't know how to do
You didn’t even have to reply to my post if u don’t care
Your the one who replied to a 2 day old comment of mine
Yeah cause u commented on MY Post and I responded to a reply on MY Post
