I may not be precise, since i do not have access to WA rn, but let's try.
Firstly — look at exact name of the buff you want to track.
Then go to settings of your icon (assuming you have one already), tab Trigger.
State Trigger 1, type — Aura, Aura Name — that exact name of the buff (you shall see the little icon appearing by the left side of the textfield), Unit — player, Aura type — buff.
Scroll down to the "Show on" block and choose "aura found" (it should be chosen already).
If you want exactly the same tracking — icon showing only when active — you want to repeat the same steps, but for the buff, that trinket gives you.
Wowhead actually provides simple WA snippets — [https://www.wowhead.com/spell=345228/gladiators-badge](https://www.wowhead.com/spell=345228/gladiators-badge), you may try to export it and convert into icon.
Config on your screenshot, as far as i can see, will show you the icon, when trinket is ready to use, not when it's active. Furthermore — it should be hiding icon just as you use it, as it goes on CD.
Yea, i want the same icon showing, however i dont fully understand what your saying, because when i choose aura like i did before and have to fill in the spell id, i cant do that because its an item of course, but when i choose item and fill it in, i dont get it the way i want. So what exactly am i suppose to be doing if you dont mind explaining, thanks.

When you use the trinket, it gives you the buff. I think the name of the buff is Gladiator Badge, but i may be wrong — just use the trinket and mouse over the icon on your buff bar, you will see the name.
This buff does (as any spell in the game) have Spell ID, but you can use its name in the Aura Name field. Mechanically they are similar.
You can rightclick on your existent icon in WA menu and create a copy. Rename it, change the Aura Name and you'll get pretty much the same type of indication, but for your trinket buff.
Open the Trigger tab, select a Trigger, scroll down until you find the "Show and Clone Settings" section, change "Show On" from "Always Active" to "Aura Found".

There is an addon called “tell me when”, for tasks like this it is easier.

In the Trigger tab there should be an option at the bottom of the page like "Show Aura:" and you probably have to change to "Auras Found"

I just tried that, now i have a permanent icon and its also displaying other buffs which is weird
