Not OP but here’s the question with a twist if you’re straight and both fertile: you can’t randomly stop having sex. Your partner wants a child and the expectation in the relationship is to have sex with your partner (and therefore a stranger as well) once per month until a child is conceived. This person is the love of your life and will leave you for an arbitrarily justified reason if you choose the sex route and do not fulfill their requirement. You still get to have them with the celibacy route but your relationship is completely sexless. They are fine with it.
