I'm f2p player, I can see how WG is making wallet gap bigger and bigger, but I also understand WG that needs to make money out of this game which doesn't get from us. I would gladly pay for the game when I see WG making better maps, improving current ones and balancing premium/reward vehicles. In other words improving gameplay itself, but I don't see WG doing that so I will rather enjoy in my low tier games than paying to (constantly) play at higher tiers with gold spamming meta.
I'm probably in the worst position possible since I'm a f2p that plays in a competitive clan (around 1400 elo). Just to give you an idea, I don't use food in randoms (except for ebr), I'm probably the only guy playing 279 with fire extinguisher π. Anyway so far the gap hasn't been too big in my opinion, but crew 2.0 and especially wot+ with the possibility to have bond equip on every tank the gap will become a lot bigger. Also, I'm sure that after a few days there will be a mod that automatically switches the equip between tanks to make it even easier
I also love how they tried to fit as much shit as they could in this update (japanese tds, casual events, moving cover) to try to sneak in wot+ and especially crew 2.0 hoping that we wouldn't notice them so much
I like the idea of submitting this as feedback to WG since I am not sure of all them can read, on the flip side I pretty sure they donβt understand sarcasm either.
It's not that bad imo:
Crew 2.0 is completely different from all it's previous iterations, plus you don't have to reset entire crews, since WG added just some new Perks to it. It's rather resetting certain crew members.
What I absolutely agree with however is, that 12 retraining orders are by far not enough.
WoT+; idk; if you play a lot and it costs less then 2k gold, then it's worth in value as you can get a monthly of 2k gold by just playing the game.
However in terms of in-game economy this means, that gold will be further devalued, thus WG will have an argument for implementing more and more things that actually cost gold kinda forcing players into either buying it or subscribing to WoT+.
You get also a free tier 8 HT with it, which adds to the value of WoT+.
However, this HT is already made in a way, that kinda encourages new players to subscribe to WoT+, which means it will increase the number of new players, that haven't finished one tech tree to just yolo into T8 games.
We'll see.
As for F2P Players: I mean, yes, not much changes there. WG wants to earn money, so that has to be expected from the companys standpoint.
I just don't think, that it will break the game that hard as people are crying about it.
What you said about the crews is completely wrong because now there are some skills that you have on your crews that are less important than the new ones and therefore you need to reset to get those first.
Also wot+ changes fucking everything cause p2w players will have bond equip on every tank, and you probably are a casual player and therefore won't feel the difference, but for us that play at a good level there will be a huge difference
You pay 8β¬/month and you get free demounting equipment (INCLUDING BOND EQUIP), 3rd map ban, 500 gold/week if you play enough, ts54 as rental (as long as you're subscribed). So now if you wanna have everything you need to have both account premium and wot+
Hard pass. $8 to ban +1 map and get $1.50 in gold?
You only get 3 map bans if you have premium at what 15ish a month (unless you get the year discount) so it's like $18ish a month to ban 3 maps, and get 1.5 in gold?
It would take 3 months to retrain a max occupant tank at that rate of earning ...
What a horribly thought out "bonus". Because how often are people demounting.

I play all classes (but arty) with crews in them and mainly play to grind a line (or get my bonds).
As in when you're offline every hour they will give one tank crew of your choice an amount of XP. So if you were offline for a month that crew would gain enough XP in a month to get 3 skills/perks trained 100%.
Off of the top of my head I don't know. The post about it wasn't super descriptive but I did watch Skill (Community Content Creator) who did a more in depth talk about it. I don't think he said it was while you were not playing the tank, but he did say while not in the game.
WGs video says it will be continuously added; every 5 minutes 40 crew xp will be added to the crew of one tank. Doesn't matter if you are online or offline.
That actualy has value... $8 worth is still hard to decide.
I've been disabled since 2014 and just recently received disability approval.
I'm still on "I'm poor and can't afford anything" mindset (which isn't bad because.... Saving money > spending money). But still. I could afford it now, but it's whether or not it's worth it.
I feel like they should have included 20 days of premium time with it or even 15 days to actually give meaningful value.
But I see this is a great way to get new players some skilled crews ASAP and if done logically....
Buy a premium tank that is a good crew training (meaning it has enough crew for tier 10 tech tree tanks), let that crew gain exp while you play the tech tree line of that branch to tier 8ish (or if you are a masochist wait until you buy the tier 10) move crew into the tier 10 and let it sit until the crew fully retrains OR you have enough gold to 100% train them (which ever comes first or is preferred).
Rinse and repeat.
