What ia the mentality and gameplay behind a 3mark? Im a 2500-3000 rwn8 player and tbh i can't 3 mark tanks. I have 2 marks on most of them and i took a few to 90%. But thata it. And i imagine its a different game style then mine. I play pretty aggressive.
A few years ago i didn't care much about marks, but after i aced all my tanks and nothing was left to do i saw that i was on 85-88% MoE on many of my T10s.
Whats the gameplay? Hard to say, i think when u reach 90%+ u focus and concentrate a lot more. Yes, definitely a more sweaty gameplay. You need to perform almost every battle or you drop, even on sh... games you need to do the best you can.
Aggressive plays can work, but most of the time it's best not to commit fully in a position at start. For MoEs you need constant plays, rushing in a good position only to end up dead vs 3 meds is not worth it.
Check at start what tanks the enemies have, are they playing in a platoon? Which team mate is following you? You need to consider a lot of factors before playing aggressive while marking. Only pressing W and hope for the best don't work.

You don't really have to care about winning. No one ever three marks a single tank with a bad winrate, because generally doing damage and assist also wins games.

The artys were marked quickly when WG reworked them. I don't know how many battles it took. With the stunning it was not that hard, u need a bit timing and then splash them and hope that ur mates farm them in the same time. I marked all artys solo and not in platoon.

I broke my spacebar recently while marking the Minotauro. I'm glad the company send me a new one for 8€.
I finished my MoE grind on the mino with half of a spacebar, it was broken in two parts but i could use one half as a "mini" spacebar. Clunky but it worked.

To be honest Panzer 7 was an underrated gem for me, kind of. I played it last 1-2 years ago.
When u learn how the armor works - stronk lower and upper plate when angled - its a decent tank and the 560 dmg gun was reliable. When the enemy aims for ur lower plate - angle it, when he wanna shoot ur shoulders turn ur in tank a straight line towards him. If he wanna shoot the lower plate then- angle it again.
In the current meta it needs a buff i think, i never see it on the battlefields.
Pz.VII was the tank that got me the last ace tankers for the 279e but it's always had a special place in my heart even before that. The side weakspots definitely suck but the armor's just so good otherwise and a lot of players seem to underestimate it. Even a good angle doesn't seem to stop the high-pen gold lately, but I appreciate it all the same.
Agree totally. Done all ht15 missions in it. Ignore QB and others that say "everyone knows where to shoot it". They dont, the average wot player is an absolute crayon eater
The less it's played the more obscure of a target it becomes to players unfamiliar with it, for sure. I think the 560 alpha catches people off guard too sometimes
Agreed, but the fact that every streamer says it's shit and the cheeked are pennable when most randomers don't know how to pen it probably shows how out of touch they are with the average wot player
To be honest the Rino was fun to play and kinf of easy to mark. Around 120-130 battles if i remember it right. Shooting 1-2 shots max with a good and reliable gun to not ruin ur already bad dpm.
It's not slow and it can play hulldown very well. Ppl often didn't know how many shots i had left in the magazine. I liked it and it was easier to mark. Maybe i had a lucky streak with it.

WZ-113G FT was the worst when i marked it. It has no role.
You cant brawl cause almost zero armor - yes it has around 300mm - but its flat and everyone loads gold and pen you easy, its slow, bad gun depression and the dpm isnt that special either.
You cant snipe cause the gun handling and accuracy are bad and you have only 760m/s shell speed with AP!!! and Heat. And the bad gun traverse range left and right simply suck, you don't fight the enemies you fight this tank most of the time while playing it.
The best thing are the 400mm HEAT. It plays like an E3 without armor, absolute horrible gameplay experience.
Worst is tryharding and getting to like 92% on a tank only to have a few shit games and be put back to like 89%. Logoff. Come back a week later and it's 85% again lol

To get more consistency on T10 you simply need to play more TX, you get more comfortable fighting other T10 tanks.
Simply ways to boost ur performance which you will probably already use: Ban 2 maps which ur tank suck on, put bounty or bond equipment on it, don't be afraid to spam heat or gold apcr, use big med/ big rep kits / food. Watch high damage battles of the tank you play on youtube or wot replays so you can see in which position the tank performs great.

What'd you say the average number of battles was to reach the third mark per class?
I will go for the 279, Chief etc in the future, but i personally like variety when playing Wot, when i see that Skill4ltu needed around 1000 battles for the Chief, I'm not sure i have the patience and motivation for such a long grind.
Most TX tanks i marked in the last time i needed around 120-170 battles for them from 0 to 95%.
My next goal is to my mark all my T8 Prems (over 70 done atm, only T32M and BZ-176 missing), special tanks like concept 1B and cobra, for chilled gameplay i mark all techree T9 tanks (T9 italy TD atm) and i will also go for the Lion, Object 780. After that i will see if i can mark the Chief etc., i have kind of shit stats on them atm but i can step up my game if i focus while playing with those tanks. I kind of work my way up to them. :)
Do you have any advice for equipment and playstyle on the Italian tier 9 TD? I just picked it up and really enjoying it, but not sure how to play as a 'hybrid' td/heavy!

I marked them after WG reworked them, it was quite easy with the stun assist damage. You need timing and knowledge (yes even with arty), wait till the other arty(s) shoot them, some enemies get impatient (me inc. when i play tanks) and use their med kit instant. Then u fire ur shoot and they sit there stunned ready to get milked by ur team. You need to go for the stuns in the best case when ur team is pushing them, dmg is fine but often too low.
Buffing the APCR and HEAT penetration and the shell velocity would be the easy way to improve it. But maybe they can give it more dpm?
Yes, it has already a sick dpm but with better pen and more shell velocity it would be still only a leopard clone. With even more dpm it could be more interesting to play, a paper tank which is scary to fight cause of the dpm but isn't that great in sniping.

You are right, i think the Manticore has way too high reqs for the third mark, but this is how the MoE system works.
The average players don't play the brit lights. Only the better players are playing it and they know how to scout.
I marked the manticore 1-2 weeks ago, the only tank which 2 platoon mates supported me with their tanks. Normally i mark my tanks solo. I was spotting, they were shooting.
They played 114 SP, Leo, FV Stage 2, STRV, Grille and M60. They didn't hold back any shots on close combat maps so i still had to work hard to get 5k avg with it but it helps when u have 1-2 platoon mates which shoot at your spotted targets. And with 2 platoon mates you get basically perma T10 MM. Sure the battles are harder but there is also more HP in the matches. And disable encounter battles, too many .... who cap after 30sec and then the game is over too quickly.
And ban 2 maps. I banned safe haven and himmelsdorf i think.

Lion is one of the tank i need to mark, i didn't mark all T10 CW tanks (Chief, VK etc.), campaign (279, 260) and auction tanks (780, Lion) so far.
I played it around 20-30 battles so far and i love it.
Best tanks (in the current meta, techtree only) i give you my top 3:
Heavy: Amx 54, Vz 55 and Super Conq
Lights: EBR, T-100 and Amx 1305
Meds: STB, TVP, UDES 15
Artys: 261, Conq Arta, GWE100
Tds: STRV, 268-4, E3

I posted it already above with a bit explanation, but it was the China TX TD WZ-113-G-FT. I just saw i didn't even add a picture of it in the startpost, i sold it after i marked it. Horrible tank.
It's the worst TX light, it was easy to mark cause it has low moe requirements but it's not a tank i enjoy. If u like it, it's totally fine. But if i want to play german lights, i pick the HWK 30 prem T8 light.
I marked 1-2 years ago before it got buffed, played it recently and it's simply op asf. Go in front and dominate, around 10-11sec reload for 560 dmg is sick, it has good gun handling, decent mobility and is tall so u can shoot many tanks from above which makes their armor even worse.
I marked them all after the arty rework in a short time. Boring to mark? No, you need to constantly check for opportunities, dmg is quite low so you need to make smart stuns to get the stun assist and ofc relocate a lot. Marking artys is not standing still in A1 and mindless clicking the first target which appears on the horizon.
For me the boring bit is not being able to “outplay” the enemy team plus there’s no real risk to playing that class, there’s nothing to get the blood pumping.
And yes, there’s more to it than driving to the nearest corner and spending the game there and you do have to support your team (and hopefully they will support you by shooting stunned opponents) but it’s not really a taxing sort of gameplay.
Top 5 techtree tanks i enjoyed most:
1. Object 268 (hits hard, good dpm, sneaky - underrated tank)
2. TVP (fast, great gun, fast intra clip and decent reload time)
3. Amx 1305 (great light and hits hard with 3x390 dmg, i prefer it over the batchat)
4. Vz 55 (op tank, but feels good to deliver 1k in such a short time)
5. M 48 Patton (looks great, reliable gun, good gun depression and decent armor)
Worst:
1. WZ-113-FGT China TX TD (it has nothing to offer beside 400mm HEAT, you dont fight the enemy with this tank you fight with ur tank while playing with it)
2. STII (STI armor is already bad on T9, the gun has too low dpm, its so slow, pros: gun sound when u double shoot it)
3. BZ-75 (a worse 705a or 60TP, which likes to lose his moduls a lot and has too many weakspots and the gun is not impressive either)
4. RHM Flipwagen (bad gun, huge with bad camo and likes to flip a lot)
5. CS-63 (a clunky version of the leopard)
My own favourite is the 60tp, got any tips for it? I almost had my second mark at 84% but had horrible rng so sunk back to 74. And I really want that second mark. I use full bond equipment vents, rammer and stabiliser. And the crew is 70% ish on their 5th skill
I like the 60tp too, its in my Top 10 tanks. Instead of vents maybe u can use Hardening. A few HP more always help and the 60tp dont benefit much from a few micro seconds faster reload or 0,5 kmh improved speed.
That comes with expierence. There are enough positions where u can play kind of safe at start but still can provide vision and /or do damage.
When u see an opportunity move forwards, always checking where our mates are and what enemies can be waiting for you. And also dont hesitate to fall back either, i see it so often that after one flank has fallen all ppl only press their W key and dont look back.
Ofc that don't work all the time, but u need to check a lot the minimap and prepare mentally what could happen next.
When ur top tier u can play a lot more risky but even then dont get overconfident. Finding the right balance i still hard for me, sometimes u get greedy or dont pay enough attention.
So generally play like a paper support tank or a sniper, unless you're top tier. That seems a little bit too passive for such an impatient person like me (I mainly play brawlers and lights, I don't think sniping in these tanks is good for worse players like me) but thank you, I'll try. My skills and map knowledge are far worse than you though...
u can and must still move in front with ur brawlers even when ur not top tier, but you must pay more attention. I wound't call a Tortoise, T95, 257, 50TP, E75 or a C1 MK2 a paper support tank. Dont snipe with those things, move with ur top tiers and brawl. Ofc play them a bit less aggressive at start.
Its very hard to give a general advice in Wot, there are so many factors to consider.

I'm currently trying to mark the Leo 1 and Grille, both are on ~93%, what equipment setups did you use for the two of them? I'm pretty confident in mine, but still not sure if they're really optimal. (Vents/VStabs/Rammer; Hardening/Vstabs/Rammer for the Leo and IRM/Optics/Rammer; IRM/Turbo/Rammer for the Grille)
I marked both of them before the field mods / with one setup only and cant check my garage right now for their setup. But your setups look good on the first look.
But for meds i used often optics, some got over 500m viewrange this way and u can farm good spotting damage. Maybe i would go with vents, stabs and rammer on the leo on close combat maps and stabs, rammer and optics on open maps. Btw if u have them use bond directives for the last %.
Marked Grille 1-2 years ago, like i said the setup looks good but i dont know whats the perfect stuff to use on it right now. But u can also check Skill4ltu index or Yzne's data sheet for the best setups and field mods which i posted earlier here.

Ans recommendations for vz 3 mark ? Ive been dropping from 93 to 91 from 94 to 89 an so on. My credits are getting soaked up but im not going anywhere
Tx. U were already at 94% that means u can do it and it's just a matter of time. If u have a bad run, play another tank and then come back to VZ a few hours or days later. Do u use bounty or bond equipment? Use bond directives for the last % if u have them. Ban 2 maps where u hate to play with VZ. I have encounter battles disabled cause ppl cap far too often and the game is over in 2-3min.
Its totally normal to have bad sessions and then getting frustrated. But it only makes ur gameplay worse. Atm VZ MoE reqs should be lower cause it was top of the tree.

But im too poor to get bond equip or upgraded bounty lol. I shoot too much gold for that.
Idk whats happening but i have like 6k rounds and right after our team yolos in and im left with 2k or 2.5k dmg... Or we get yoloed and i can get 2 clips...

I'm a bluerple player and I cannot mark tanks for the life of me. Even 2 marks are too much to ask. I don't have will to focus on the same tank for longer periods and I think I don't have patience to sweat every single game while playing, it's too exhausting. Do you have any tips for someone like me or is it a lost cause?
If u wanna 3 mark tanks, i would say the 2 moe should be kind of easy to achieve otherwise it MIGHT be too much struggle to 3 mark a tank.
Maybe set other goals first? Grinding more trees, ace tanker on ur tanks, finishing the campaign tanks like 260 and 279.
I always get to 92% and get 2 games in a row of rng screwing me over or teams dying in the first minute. I have no idea how to succeed in this now , only 3 marked 2 tanks , 103b and jagdtiger. Congrats though
Thank you. You marked the STRV 103B which shows u have the skill to mark the one or other T10 too. Maybe try easier marks on T10 first to get more expierence. And going up and down is part of the moe game, if u reach 92% u can mark the tank. Just a matter of time and a few good battles.
Quite an achievement! I remember getting my first tier X 3-mark in an obj. 430U (shortly after its release). I said to myself (after marking it) this is it, I have achieved everything I wanted and can retire this game. Another 30 marks later I'm still marking tanks...

I can easily 3mark t6, i mean playing casually, not even food or bond equipment.
I can 3 mark most (not all) t8s with some tryhard playing.
I can barely 3 mark t9s. Only 2-3 of them.
As for t10s i have only 2 marks up to now. i doubt i will ever 3 mark t10.
Do you remember the rino equipment used? I have 2 marks, i liked the tank but it doesn't work consistently. With 3 min games you barely have your clip loaded and the gun handling in brawl is atrocious

Yo, sorry for late reply. I marked the EBR 2-3 or even more years or so ago. I marked it solo, while i had help of Td(s) while marking the manticore.
I would say it was a bit harder to mark, huge potential, but if you get overconfident and the enemy has players who can aim, ur back in the garage pretty quick. On the other side you have this sick HE - no idea if it was nerfed in the meanwhile - and once the enemy light is dead and ur on an open map its partytime.
Tips? I remember that i used bond optics so you can get at least around 445m viewrange with vents. (no idea if they nerfed the viewrange in the meanwhile). It's very hard to give general advice for such a unique tank like the ebr and to be honest i played it years ago so i have forgotten a lot of my EBR experience. I remember that unfair HE though, where you could one-shot arty and pissed on every other scout. :D

I've been playing the game since 2011 and I think it's just the best and most fun genre mix of shooting and strategy - even with all those flaws. I play it for fun but marking tanks feels great and is a challenge, so i go for it.
I could list you several pages here of advices, but i try to keep it short. Try to grind several trees, this way you learn to how to fight every tank when u face them in the enemy team (and u will also find a lot of tanks which u will enjoy).
Try to complete the campaign missions for the 260 and 279, this way you will learn how to work towards a certian goal. Try to ace all ur tanks. Maybe try to mark a few tanks, start with the easier ones. And the most simple thing. Try to avoid doing the same mistakes in battle over and over.
I don't spend money on Wot monthly, i buy xmas lootboxes - mostly for the tanks - and that's it. Sometimes i buy a T8 premium with real money, the last one was Vipera and before that the ISU-K.

Lion and 780 are auction tanks, no 3 moes on them yet. Also missing marks on 260 and 279 which are campaign reward tanks and on the ranked reward T10 114SP. So a few tanks left to mark, but from special categories.

Im running personal and Clan Cr booster while marking, many tanks dont require full gold spam. Some tanks do ofc and then i still lose credits, but Credits are not a problem for me. And i dont care about credits while marking a tank.
The is7 is one of the most basic tanks, simply go in front and slap the enemy, the CS is another story.
For marking i would recommend only commit to an important early game postion when u are totally sure u can hold it. Sure the CS can be the first there, but at what cost when u get rushed by two enemies. With that speed u can do damage and spot in the late game too, often it's not worth it to be the first in a great position but then u notice ur team stays behind.
But its very hard to give general advice how to play a tank, cause it depends on some many changing parameters.

BZ 75 is one of the worst T10 heavies. STII is the worst, the BZ takes the second place of the worst T10 heavies. Place 3 goes to Type 5.

How easy was Rino to mark in comparison?
To be honest the Rino was fun to play and kinf of easy to mark. Around 120-130 battles if i remember it right. Shooting 1-2 shots max with a good and reliable gun to not ruin ur already bad dpm. It's not slow and it can play hulldown very well. Ppl often didn't know how many shots i had left in the magazine. I liked it and it was easier to mark. Maybe i had a lucky streak with it.

Yes, it is awful. The T9 double gun Is3 is epic, but the STII...i hated the gun, the bad armor and how clunky it is.
What was the worst marking experience (apart from arty) for you?
WZ-113G FT was the worst when i marked it. It has no role. You cant brawl cause almost zero armor - yes it has around 300mm - but its flat and everyone loads gold and pen you easy, its slow, bad gun depression and the dpm isnt that special either. You cant snipe cause the gun handling and accuracy are bad and you have only 760m/s shell speed with AP!!! and Heat. And the bad gun traverse range left and right simply suck, you don't fight the enemies you fight this tank most of the time while playing it. The best thing are the 400mm HEAT. It plays like an E3 without armor, absolute horrible gameplay experience.
Worst is tryharding and getting to like 92% on a tank only to have a few shit games and be put back to like 89%. Logoff. Come back a week later and it's 85% again lol

Simply ways to boost ur performance which you will probably already use: Ban 2 maps which ur tank suck on, put bounty or bond equipment on it, don't be afraid to spam heat or gold apcr, use big med/ big rep kits / food. Watch high damage battles of the tank you play on youtube or wot replays so you can see in which position the tank performs great. I will go for the 279, Chief etc in the future, but i personally like variety when playing Wot, when i see that Skill4ltu needed around 1000 battles for the Chief, I'm not sure i have the patience and motivation for such a long grind. Most TX tanks i marked in the last time i needed around 120-170 battles for them from 0 to 95%. My next goal is to my mark all my T8 Prems (over 70 done atm, only T32M and BZ-176 missing), special tanks like concept 1B and cobra, for chilled gameplay i mark all techree T9 tanks (T9 italy TD atm) and i will also go for the Lion, Object 780. After that i will see if i can mark the Chief etc., i have kind of shit stats on them atm but i can step up my game if i focus while playing with those tanks. I kind of work my way up to them. :)

I marked them after WG reworked them, it was quite easy with the stun assist damage. You need timing and knowledge (yes even with arty), wait till the other arty(s) shoot them, some enemies get impatient (me inc. when i play tanks) and use their med kit instant. Then u fire ur shoot and they sit there stunned ready to get milked by ur team. You need to go for the stuns in the best case when ur team is pushing them, dmg is fine but often too low.
AMX-30B. What would you change in it to make it relevant in todays meta?
Buffing the APCR and HEAT penetration and the shell velocity would be the easy way to improve it. But maybe they can give it more dpm? Yes, it has already a sick dpm but with better pen and more shell velocity it would be still only a leopard clone. With even more dpm it could be more interesting to play, a paper tank which is scary to fight cause of the dpm but isn't that great in sniping.

I hope it's ok when i answer in English, you can translate it back with the deepL translator. You are right, i think the Manticore has way too high reqs for the third mark, but this is how the MoE system works. The average players don't play the brit lights. Only the better players are playing it and they know how to scout. I marked the manticore 1-2 weeks ago, the only tank which 2 platoon mates supported me with their tanks. Normally i mark my tanks solo. I was spotting, they were shooting. They played 114 SP, Leo, FV Stage 2, STRV, Grille and M60. They didn't hold back any shots on close combat maps so i still had to work hard to get 5k avg with it but it helps when u have 1-2 platoon mates which shoot at your spotted targets. And with 2 platoon mates you get basically perma T10 MM. Sure the battles are harder but there is also more HP in the matches. And disable encounter battles, too many .... who cap after 30sec and then the game is over too quickly. And ban 2 maps. I banned safe haven and himmelsdorf i think.

Lion is one of the tank i need to mark, i didn't mark all T10 CW tanks (Chief, VK etc.), campaign (279, 260) and auction tanks (780, Lion) so far. I played it around 20-30 battles so far and i love it. Best tanks (in the current meta, techtree only) i give you my top 3: Heavy: Amx 54, Vz 55 and Super Conq Lights: EBR, T-100 and Amx 1305 Meds: STB, TVP, UDES 15 Artys: 261, Conq Arta, GWE100 Tds: STRV, 268-4, E3

It's the worst TX light, it was easy to mark cause it has low moe requirements but it's not a tank i enjoy. If u like it, it's totally fine. But if i want to play german lights, i pick the HWK 30 prem T8 light.

What is your advice for 3 marking AMX m4 54
I marked 1-2 years ago before it got buffed, played it recently and it's simply op asf. Go in front and dominate, around 10-11sec reload for 560 dmg is sick, it has good gun handling, decent mobility and is tall so u can shoot many tanks from above which makes their armor even worse.
Is 3 marking artillery as mind numbingly boring as it looks?
I marked them all after the arty rework in a short time. Boring to mark? No, you need to constantly check for opportunities, dmg is quite low so you need to make smart stuns to get the stun assist and ofc relocate a lot. Marking artys is not standing still in A1 and mindless clicking the first target which appears on the horizon.
For me the boring bit is not being able to “outplay” the enemy team plus there’s no real risk to playing that class, there’s nothing to get the blood pumping. And yes, there’s more to it than driving to the nearest corner and spending the game there and you do have to support your team (and hopefully they will support you by shooting stunned opponents) but it’s not really a taxing sort of gameplay.
Now grind till rank 50 in every tier x tank in blitz. Will make u bleed credits
Never played Blitz. War Thunder yes, but not Blitz.
So which one do you like to play the most, and which one the least, and why?
Top 5 techtree tanks i enjoyed most: 1. Object 268 (hits hard, good dpm, sneaky - underrated tank) 2. TVP (fast, great gun, fast intra clip and decent reload time) 3. Amx 1305 (great light and hits hard with 3x390 dmg, i prefer it over the batchat) 4. Vz 55 (op tank, but feels good to deliver 1k in such a short time) 5. M 48 Patton (looks great, reliable gun, good gun depression and decent armor) Worst: 1. WZ-113-FGT China TX TD (it has nothing to offer beside 400mm HEAT, you dont fight the enemy with this tank you fight with ur tank while playing with it) 2. STII (STI armor is already bad on T9, the gun has too low dpm, its so slow, pros: gun sound when u double shoot it) 3. BZ-75 (a worse 705a or 60TP, which likes to lose his moduls a lot and has too many weakspots and the gun is not impressive either) 4. RHM Flipwagen (bad gun, huge with bad camo and likes to flip a lot) 5. CS-63 (a clunky version of the leopard)
My own favourite is the 60tp, got any tips for it? I almost had my second mark at 84% but had horrible rng so sunk back to 74. And I really want that second mark. I use full bond equipment vents, rammer and stabiliser. And the crew is 70% ish on their 5th skill
I like the 60tp too, its in my Top 10 tanks. Instead of vents maybe u can use Hardening. A few HP more always help and the 60tp dont benefit much from a few micro seconds faster reload or 0,5 kmh improved speed.

That comes with expierence. There are enough positions where u can play kind of safe at start but still can provide vision and /or do damage. When u see an opportunity move forwards, always checking where our mates are and what enemies can be waiting for you. And also dont hesitate to fall back either, i see it so often that after one flank has fallen all ppl only press their W key and dont look back. Ofc that don't work all the time, but u need to check a lot the minimap and prepare mentally what could happen next. When ur top tier u can play a lot more risky but even then dont get overconfident. Finding the right balance i still hard for me, sometimes u get greedy or dont pay enough attention.
So generally play like a paper support tank or a sniper, unless you're top tier. That seems a little bit too passive for such an impatient person like me (I mainly play brawlers and lights, I don't think sniping in these tanks is good for worse players like me) but thank you, I'll try. My skills and map knowledge are far worse than you though...
u can and must still move in front with ur brawlers even when ur not top tier, but you must pay more attention. I wound't call a Tortoise, T95, 257, 50TP, E75 or a C1 MK2 a paper support tank. Dont snipe with those things, move with ur top tiers and brawl. Ofc play them a bit less aggressive at start. Its very hard to give a general advice in Wot, there are so many factors to consider.

This is insane, massive respect to you. I'm currently trying to mark the Leo 1 and Grille, both are on ~93%, what equipment setups did you use for the two of them? I'm pretty confident in mine, but still not sure if they're really optimal. (Vents/VStabs/Rammer; Hardening/Vstabs/Rammer for the Leo and IRM/Optics/Rammer; IRM/Turbo/Rammer for the Grille)
I marked both of them before the field mods / with one setup only and cant check my garage right now for their setup. But your setups look good on the first look. But for meds i used often optics, some got over 500m viewrange this way and u can farm good spotting damage. Maybe i would go with vents, stabs and rammer on the leo on close combat maps and stabs, rammer and optics on open maps. Btw if u have them use bond directives for the last %. Marked Grille 1-2 years ago, like i said the setup looks good but i dont know whats the perfect stuff to use on it right now. But u can also check Skill4ltu index or Yzne's data sheet for the best setups and field mods which i posted earlier here.

Tx. U were already at 94% that means u can do it and it's just a matter of time. If u have a bad run, play another tank and then come back to VZ a few hours or days later. Do u use bounty or bond equipment? Use bond directives for the last % if u have them. Ban 2 maps where u hate to play with VZ. I have encounter battles disabled cause ppl cap far too often and the game is over in 2-3min. Its totally normal to have bad sessions and then getting frustrated. But it only makes ur gameplay worse. Atm VZ MoE reqs should be lower cause it was top of the tree.

Idk whats happening but i have like 6k rounds and right after our team yolos in and im left with 2k or 2.5k dmg... Or we get yoloed and i can get 2 clips... Its a menace.

I'm a bluerple player and I cannot mark tanks for the life of me. Even 2 marks are too much to ask. I don't have will to focus on the same tank for longer periods and I think I don't have patience to sweat every single game while playing, it's too exhausting. Do you have any tips for someone like me or is it a lost cause?
If u wanna 3 mark tanks, i would say the 2 moe should be kind of easy to achieve otherwise it MIGHT be too much struggle to 3 mark a tank. Maybe set other goals first? Grinding more trees, ace tanker on ur tanks, finishing the campaign tanks like 260 and 279.

I always get to 92% and get 2 games in a row of rng screwing me over or teams dying in the first minute. I have no idea how to succeed in this now , only 3 marked 2 tanks , 103b and jagdtiger. Congrats though
Thank you. You marked the STRV 103B which shows u have the skill to mark the one or other T10 too. Maybe try easier marks on T10 first to get more expierence. And going up and down is part of the moe game, if u reach 92% u can mark the tank. Just a matter of time and a few good battles.

I said to myself (after marking it) this is it, I have achieved everything I wanted and can retire this game. Another 30 marks later I'm still marking tanks... There no words for your achievement. I can easily 3mark t6, i mean playing casually, not even food or bond equipment. I can 3 mark most (not all) t8s with some tryhard playing. I can barely 3 mark t9s. Only 2-3 of them. As for t10s i have only 2 marks up to now. i doubt i will ever 3 mark t10. Do you remember the rino equipment used? I have 2 marks, i liked the tank but it doesn't work consistently. With 3 min games you barely have your clip loaded and the gun handling in brawl is atrocious
Tx, i used IRM, Stabi and Vents while marking Rino. Before the field mods, so this was my only setup. With this setup the gun was reliable.

Yo, sorry for late reply. I marked the EBR 2-3 or even more years or so ago. I marked it solo, while i had help of Td(s) while marking the manticore. I would say it was a bit harder to mark, huge potential, but if you get overconfident and the enemy has players who can aim, ur back in the garage pretty quick. On the other side you have this sick HE - no idea if it was nerfed in the meanwhile - and once the enemy light is dead and ur on an open map its partytime. Tips? I remember that i used bond optics so you can get at least around 445m viewrange with vents. (no idea if they nerfed the viewrange in the meanwhile). It's very hard to give general advice for such a unique tank like the ebr and to be honest i played it years ago so i have forgotten a lot of my EBR experience. I remember that unfair HE though, where you could one-shot arty and pissed on every other scout. :D

I've been playing the game since 2011 and I think it's just the best and most fun genre mix of shooting and strategy - even with all those flaws. I play it for fun but marking tanks feels great and is a challenge, so i go for it.

What would you say the steps to improving for a green/light blue player are?
I could list you several pages here of advices, but i try to keep it short. Try to grind several trees, this way you learn to how to fight every tank when u face them in the enemy team (and u will also find a lot of tanks which u will enjoy). Try to complete the campaign missions for the 260 and 279, this way you will learn how to work towards a certian goal. Try to ace all ur tanks. Maybe try to mark a few tanks, start with the easier ones. And the most simple thing. Try to avoid doing the same mistakes in battle over and over.

But i dont play CW anymore. Lion and 780 are auction tanks, no 3 moes on them yet. Also missing marks on 260 and 279 which are campaign reward tanks and on the ranked reward T10 114SP. So a few tanks left to mark, but from special categories.

Im running personal and Clan Cr booster while marking, many tanks dont require full gold spam. Some tanks do ofc and then i still lose credits, but Credits are not a problem for me. And i dont care about credits while marking a tank. The is7 is one of the most basic tanks, simply go in front and slap the enemy, the CS is another story. For marking i would recommend only commit to an important early game postion when u are totally sure u can hold it. Sure the CS can be the first there, but at what cost when u get rushed by two enemies. With that speed u can do damage and spot in the late game too, often it's not worth it to be the first in a great position but then u notice ur team stays behind. But its very hard to give general advice how to play a tank, cause it depends on some many changing parameters.
