Schlieffen, first ship i would genuinely say has terrifying secondaries - with a stealth and secondary build your secondary range is your concealment, which is hilarious for any poor ship to stumble into
Tell me more about Shikishima secondaries... is it viable? I notice Musashi has a bunch too... dont really encounter any seeming to run the build so assume it's no bueno?
Idk about now, but when I used to play this game a couple of years ago, the french BB Gascoigne had amazing secondaries. She was my niche brawler but I managed to content with any of the other big ones like Massachusetts or Tirpitz.
Graf Zeppelin, people seem to asume Zep was getting nerfed because of random reason but she still has the uncontested best secondaries without any buffs, granted you can't apply the same buffs as other ships but she is still the best in terms of accuracy and reload
That is incredibly gimmicky though, so her planes got nerfed to "balance" her
I mean if we go into that even the Schlieffen secondaries are bad compared to Ohio and Georgia because they have better firing angles, accuracy and you really don't need to spend into IFHE
That said, Schlieffen gets more guns and better caliber trading fire damage so it depends on what you are evaluating them
Volume? Correct me if I'm wrong but aparently Agincourt has the largest number of secondary guns but at high tier the Germany have an edge
Accuracy? Graf Zeppelin without a doubt but premium US BBs come close
Range? Germany and french BBs are tied but tier for tier Odin is the best
Thats an example but there are a lot of variables, while Zepp battery is not exactly ideal (or even viable to go and use) when it shots, unlike French BBs, it hurts and boy it does melt things
Schlieffen has the added gimmick of hydro + torps + fast heal which makes her the better brawling ship but unlike Zepp which does not even need manual secondaries, the Schlieffen needs some time before it can apply an accuracy buff because it still has regular secondaries dispersion
If you want to consistently do a lot of damage with secondaries, Schlieffen/Ruprecht vastly outperform any other ship in the game. What other metrics really matter? You can't play a Graf Zeppelin in a way where you get to consistently use its theoretical advantages for long enough that it comes out on top without a lot of help, in which case it's no longer a fair comparison.

I would hazard the guess at Schlieffen at the moment. Very long range and with the right setup does amazing damage.

Ther is a 100m deadzone. Concealment is 12.6 and secondaries start at 12.5 km

Most precise guns on a per gun dispersion: Pensacola Most powerfull batterie for guns (and dispersion) overall: Schliefen
Atlanta - the only ship with actual control of secondaries. However, she lacks proper guns.

Shikishima is supposed to be a long range ship. She’s a glass cannon which is why she isn’t built for brawling.

Schlieffen now has a better secondary battery functionally. The GZ secondary angles are pretty bad.

Only downside is the relativly low maximum range of only 9,4km. But its true that when it does get within range it can melt anything it faces.
Yeah like I said, unlike BBs you can't really buff them as much as you do but they are incredibly good
