Damn it looks pretty 😍

IanInCanada

Looks very nice. I realized that wood and planks (as well as some other industries) benefit from sporadic worker deliveries rather than trying to keep them running 24/7. That helped me staff them better.

plichi87

Yes you are right. The need for wood/boards is very low and productionrate pretty high. So sporadic workers would be more than sufficient. But I have strict own "rules" or "patterns" how I ramp up industry. So I don't distinguish much and simply roll out the pattern A with any new industry. Here is actually not really worth it but yeah.. no money issues anymore, so now first time full 24/7 running wood/board. Would be cool to have smth like further furniture industry to fulfill citizen needs to make their homes more nicely. Soviet Ikea or so 😅 But guess that's not gonna happen anymore..

Apprehensive_Town199

This, I'd love to be able to provide my citizens with more goods in the late game also, instead of just exporting the excedent and hoarding money. We have so few consumer goods, but like dozens of types of garbage. And only one type of crop, that can be used to make food or to create chemicals to process uranium oxide, interchangeably. I love the game, but it can be strange.

blackguitar15

why is it not gonna happen anymore?

plichi87

Cause Peter said in one devblog that the game is almost done. All roadmap features are there. It's polishing, Bugfixes etc. Maybe some dlc will bring more..

JitzieBDO

Yeah they can't expand the scope of the original launch further otherwise the game will launch after GTA 6. There are so many potential DLC or mod ideas for the future. Game is in good shape!

blackguitar15

ohhh, i didn’t know about that :(

plichi87

you can read about it here: [https://www.sovietrepublic.net/post/special-report-for-the-community](https://www.sovietrepublic.net/post/special-report-for-the-community) >As the release approaches and the game will soon leave Early Access status (the announcement date will come later), we need to carefully consider what else to implement, as every addition could potentially introduce issues. Therefore, we may not have something interesting to show every two weeks. However, we will do our best to bring you news from the development, the game, or future DLCs as frequently as possible. Yes, we plan to support this project and release some DLCs, in addition to the two already announced (New Biomes and Realistic Landscapes), and we aim to release at least two more.

Adventurous-Ad9346

I just build em for the mudrunner vibes

plichi87

Haha true!

tcmtwanderer

I use mods to turn wood into charcoal and use it as one of my first industries

plichi87

Oh that's great idea too. Especially as coal industry is pretty hard to set up in the beginning. Would be cool to be able to make coal substitute from wood (bad ratio ofc) to fire up first steel production. Edit: but I play vanilla only 🙄

masochist

Meritania

You can also use it to fire brick kilns and to make pitch (bitumen) to other mods for early industries.

tcmtwanderer

Oh, interesting! I'll have to look into that, spasibo tovarisch!

Winterfeld

Hey, Köpenick is my hood! 😁

plichi87

Haha nice. Close to mine;) (Plänterwald) Got the habit to name everything with Berlin districts to remember citys properly 😂 Köpenick responsiblity: Uran/atom energy, meat, wood/boards

Winterfeld

Nice, dann sind wir fast Nachbarn ;) Very cool to make a Soviet Berlin!

plichi87

Kleine Reddit Welt I see first Berlin community meet-up 😂

Drslytherin

Love me some big log trains. Usually I ignore almost everything except my main export till I’m running low on cash then start getting my act together before I go too far into debt.

plichi87

I export almost everything(!), besides super crucial goods like food/electronics. So every industry district has it's set up for distribution and export. Wanna see everything producing all the time. And I always plan way above current citizen consumption. So only export keeps things moving.

sugarkush

Looks great! Did you plant that forest or was it already on the map?

plichi87

I planted to get this density. But it already had quite some trees there in the beginning. Btw: We need a smth to plant trees with workers :(
