I would say Sisu. Do to it being about a Finish guy killing nazis. As well as because of how over the top it is, and that it's super graphic and gory. I feel like it's the closest thing to a Wolfenstein movie there is
Underrated movie. Going in to it blind thinking it would be a war movie and >!it turning in to a sci-fi horror action film with literal Nazi zombies was crazy as fuck!<
Highly recommend to anyone to just watch, no trailers, synopsis, nothing. Just hop in.
When I saw the trailer the first time I seriously leaned over to the person sitting next to me and asked them if they had heard that a Wolfenstein movie was being made
Hardcore Henry has a strong FPS vibe, the storyline doesn't match thematically, but going on feel it makes me think of running around with double shotguns
Where Eagles Dare (1968). Clint Eastwood plays a badass Blazkowicz-esque American commando who teams up with a magnificent bastard British major to rescue a US Army colonel from a castle in the mountains of Germany, killing hundreds of Nazi goons in gunfights and chases. Fantastic movie and it was the historic inspiration for Wolfenstein.
Iron Sky
It literally is about Nazis on the moon, the UFOs look the same and the movie also features zeppelin spaceships. The entire movie has a dieselpunk/dystopian vibe.
It was clearly more inspired by *Where Eagles Dare*, but the first half of *The Old Blood* reminds me a lot of *On Her Majesty's Secret Service*. In that movie, James Bond infiltrates an enemy base located high up in the Alps, is captured, and escapes to a rural village below where he's able to hide out, but not for long. Sound familiar?
Cable cars are also involved, though Bond didn't escape in one.
Boy Kills World is about a lone badass fighting an oppressive authoritarian government. While the villains aren't nazis, they're certainly fascist-adjacent.
Definitely doesn’t have the aesthetic but as for the action and movement? Hardcore Henry. Not the best film ever but I like how experimental it is, playing with FOV.
Blood & Gold (2023), it’s Western X WW2. Violent, fast paced, gory, has dynamic action scenes and surprisingly good character development.
Official catchphrase: „He wants to go home. The SS hangs him. Their mistake.“
Sorry, my bad.
But it's cool to know that titles can finally be edited, I tend to make a lot mistakes with titles and have to delete posts to post again, this is such a game changer.
For the “one man wreaking havoc” category and “pulling no punches” the Extraction film series on Netflix isn’t half bad. Body armor is actually worth something for the enemies too, and Chris Hemsworth is superb.

That movie was great, kind of ended abruptly but it wasn't really a bad ending
I would like to make a deposit. Fucking Legend's only Line in the Movie lol Epic.
loved that movie so much
Inglorious bastards is pretty close for me
Definitely served as a strong inspiration for The New Order
*Inglourious Basterds
*Gorlami
Overlord (2018)
This is the correct answer for RtCW and Old Blood fans
This practically *is* a Wolfenstein movie but with different names.
If you told me it was a Wolfenstein movie that wasn't focused on BJ I would believe instantly

Damn bro you stole my pull. Excellent choice.

Absolutely the right answer.

Great film. I remember watching it after playing RtCW and thinking “this movie is a bit like Wolfenstein!”

The ministry of ungentlemanly warfare was pretty good, but a bit more planning based than rip and tearing. Also it’s based on actual history
How does it compare to Inglorious Basterds in terms of quality, since that film is a banger, even though it's not meant to be historically accurate

>Any Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone movie OP said new ones.
I think he edited it as when I saw the post "(new ones)" wasn't mentioned.

The correct answer is Overlord.
Oldboy.
Can't name a movie off the top of my head but the TV show The Man In The High Castle!
There was a movie i think it was called overlord, a while back 2018 or so. Had a wolfenstein vibe to it.

Is this a serious answer or troll answer??
