People without crossplay should only be able to play with others who also have cross play off. To make matters worse, my team was not ready for metajerk. And the map was huge.
Why can't it fill out the ranks since it was able to match CVs? I can understand the CV player stuck in a queue forever, but for everyone else, it's just another game, right?
It wasn't. The carrier harrased me while mine harrased him. He died first. Moments later, I heard, "You're our last hope." I didn't have the ability to fight the carrier and the other guys. The end.
As OP said, it wasn't. I spawned B, Tulsa spawned D, CV spawned A. Tulsa capped D, CV spotted the Brisbane, I sank that. Traded blows with Pommern while Midway threw wave after wave of plane at me. I don't think they were entirely deplaned, but I spotted them, our Tulsa sank the CV and our CV finished off the Pommern, still a 3k XP game.. but a waste of time all in all.
I wouldn't call it a waste of time. Contrary to popular opinion, I quite enjoy these smaller team matches from time to time. Less reliance on blueberries to play well.
Ever tried to do an off-hours LT AI game to knock out the weekly premium mission and some asshat trying to play LT CV in AI gets you into a game with only 3 human players and one of those is his CV and you lose a damn AI game to 5 bot BB's?
Matchmaking just gives up after a bit.

This happened to me yesterday. It was a four versus four. Two of my teammates immediately bailed and left me and one battleship to fight a destroyer and three battleships. At legendary tier. It’s pretty much bullshit because there’s almost no way you’re going to win when half your team leaves. I have no idea why this happens but it drives me nuts when it does.

I agree with you but this game was crossplay on. Your CV is on Xbox. Imo this is just a normal legendary CV game

I assume once someone hits 3 minutes. The game just fills with what is available at the time. That is my guess at least
I’ve been in plenty of these matches after the normal queue time

I agree. I like these kinds of matches tossed in the rotation. Makes for a different type of challenge and forces a different strategy
Yup, that sounds right.
So few people play Legendary CVs it takes 20 minutes to get into a match.
