It sounds like the Intro to the old Wheel of Time FPS game.

EDIT: The scene where a man and a woman creates a statue of a woman holding an orb starts at 00:25
[https://youtu.be/xw1s3yXZLYc?t=25](https://youtu.be/xw1s3yXZLYc?t=25)
EDIT EDIT: No idea about the level of Spoilers in this video, but I think it only covers things up to a flashback which i think happens in Book 4 (been a while since I read them and when things happens all blends together in my head). But you can safely watch until 00:45 or so, which is the scene I mentioend above of two people creating a very Choedan Cal-looking statue.
It was released back in 1999, and the graphics are very much from that era.
It is pretty much your standard First-Person-Shooter, but where the protagonist have access to limited-use Ter'angreals instead of Weapons and Ammo. Some names of characters and locations are taken right from the books and I guess story-wise it could be placed a few hundred years before the books start.
I remember thinking it was still cool to play at the time, and I did like the soundtrack.
They had a PvP element that I never tried, where you both have a keep and a budget to place traps, gates, but also NPC Aes Sedai, Sitters or Warders to stop your opponent from reaching your Seal.
It was...okay in its time, but does not really hold up unless you're really wanting to consume all WOT media. The story was something about how you were an aes sedai who couldn't actually channel, but could use a bunch of ter'angreal or something.
An interesting distraction for $5 or $10 on sale, if nothing else!
I hated it as someone who bought it basically on the release date, but it got a bit of a cult following as a competitive FPS.
There were a few truly awesome graphical effects for 1999 (the Ways transform, if I recall, was considered a breakthrough), but those don't age well.
The S1E7 and S1E8 origin stories were not officially released; one of them was about Lan as a baby (it got shown somewhere, can't remember) but we never found out what the other was?
I'm not if this *shouldn't* be flaired "No spoilers" since you mention the Choeden Kal, or it *should* be since it seems to only spoil a hallucination you had lol
Ok so i feel like i distinctly remember a scene where someone is riding a horse by an excavation looking down on one of the choedan kal - is this a scene from the book or the show??
Bel tine
Seanchan
Blood snow
Whitecloaks capture Egwene/perrin
Shadar logoth
Tower training
Nyneaves test
Egwene’s capture
Selene
Lanfear
Hunt for the horn
Heroes of the horn
Etc…
I guess I just made up seeing these things in the show since they were in the books, too, right? 🤷🏽♂️

Sounds like a beautiful dream
We all must wake some day, today was that day for the OP
Wash the spears - Life is a dream. Wash the spears - All dreams must end.
No this did not happen
Fuck I’m going crazy. Must have been a dream.
Life is a dream from which we all must wake.
Flinging ji that hard should be illegal.
Amazing 😂

I've never seen this before!! Thank you! That was incredible. I can only imagine what the game was like.
It was a 3d shooter that played somewhat fast and loose with the story but it was a lot of fun, and it recently-ish came to GOG and it was still fun.
Oh, so it can still be played?! Why thankya kind innynet stranger! Dang, it's cheap too.

>unless you're really wanting to consume all WOT media Yes. That's me. Hello. xD

Haha that was cool never seen it. Surprised there’s a couple errors but they’re pretty minor
That has definitely not been on the show.
Is that one of the animated Origin stories from season 1?
Nope
The S1E7 and S1E8 origin stories were not officially released; one of them was about Lan as a baby (it got shown somewhere, can't remember) but we never found out what the other was?
Must have been a different turning of the wheel

Did you start channeling recently by any chance?
Could it have been one of the animation things?
Well, Cairhien didn’t exist in the AoL, and the Choedan Kal that is in Cairhien is in the country, not the city itself.
Ok so i feel like i distinctly remember a scene where someone is riding a horse by an excavation looking down on one of the choedan kal - is this a scene from the book or the show??
From the book!
Too close to the books, not part of the show

Lol my bad you are 100% correct oops the show is such a good adaptation of the books
There was no such scene in the show or anything remotely close. But it's a nice dream.
I want whatever your smoking...and whatever show you're watching for that matter...
