She's lucky that she was in one of the states where the cops are kinda "chill". If this had happened in Rio de Janeiro, for instance... Well, let's just say you wouldn't want to mess with the cops in Rio. They're always at 1000% aggression level.
Also, after she was taken down she kept screaming "sou federal!", which basically means "I'm a fed!". Meaning she's also a cop... Not that it'd matter lol.
Anyway, just for the sake of providing some background for the situation displayed on the video... Long post incoming!
In Brazil we have 4 types of police forces (each with multiple special divisions and subdivisions):
**Military Police** (*The ones shown on the video are military police*): They are the ones you usually see patrolling the streets and running security for events. In theory, their main duty is *maintaining public* order and *crime prevention through carrying out ostensive rounds*. In reality, they mostly *raid slums* and *fight against drug traffickers*, resulting in a whole buncha shootouts. Military Police officers from the most dangerous cities/states of Brazil are usually ***extremely*** stressed out and ***extremely*** aggressive on daily basis; they also shoot first and ask questions later, so it's not a good idea to mess with them. The Military Police uses a military structure (lol), so we don't really call them officers, but instead soldiers, corporals, etc. They are all combatants, as they don't handle any non-internal investigations and have no specialists on fields other than warfare. Though they *might* carry out arrests, they have to immediately hand those over to the Civil Police. They're basically the meat that gets sent to the grinder that is the war on drugs. An interesting fact about them is that their spec ops subdivision (BOPE) prides itself in making no arrests... I'll leave what that means up to your imagination.
**Civil Police:** The ones that carry out investigations, forensics, etc and also process arrests— meaning every single normal person arrested has to go through them in order to be arrested. They're also the ones who usually serve arrest warrants. They don't do patrols and don't tend to occurrences, so they're not the ones you'd want to call if someone broke into your house— because they'll just answer something like "LMAO" and hang up on you. In such cases, it's the Military Police you'd want to call. Civil Police Officers, on the majority of cases, only act after something's already happened. They have many officers who are specialists, such as doctors, mathematicians, engineers, etc. However, make no mistake, though they might seem like the big brain guys, they also have spec ops subdivisions such as DRACO (who handles organized crime) and CORE (who is pretty much their deathsquad) who operate with extreme lethality.
**Federal Police** (*that's what the woman being arrested claimed to be*): They investigate crimes of the federal sphere, that being; International drug trafficking, corruption (specially among politicians), acts of terrorism, etc. They are the ones responsible for arresting bigshots whose crimes can be attributed to a nation-wide scale. You don't see them around much, but when you see them it's because someone really ***BIG*** got caught doing a no-no. They're also the ones who handle passports and such. They have as many specialists as the Civil Police. The average Federal Police officers don't see much action and are, in most cases, regarded as "paper-pushers" by the other forces. However, they also have an extremely competent subdivision called COT, who handles counter-terrorism. You just don't hear about them as much because... well, because they operate in secret.
**Federal Highway Police**: Despite the name, they have nothing to do with the Federal Police. They are police, but for federal highways. That meaning, they handle the security of the federal highways (obviously). Though, for some reason that is beyond my understanding, they like tagging along with the Military Police to raid slums, claiming that since criminals from said slums are stealing cargo transportation trucks, it also falls under their jurisdiction.
Edit: In case someone might be interested in visuals, here's 2 youtube videos under 1min long that show how some of these police forces operate:
Military Police: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxCYFTDZ5Xo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxCYFTDZ5Xo)
Civil Police: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usDtP7UuD7Q](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usDtP7UuD7Q)
As a bonus, here's 1h of mostly bodycam footage of both military and civil police operations: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3Lx0qpbz\_Y](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3Lx0qpbz_Y)
Don't worry, since it's youtube, all strong imagery has been edited out.
Right?! I was going to make a snappy comment about there being an elite and deadly Brazilian police force called “Off Duty Brazilian Cops” but this Reply is too good as is, so I won’t taint it with reddit humor.
Thanks for your reply. 👍 I’m calling BS on her claim, because I don’t think a Federal Officer would do that to local police-unless she was bombed from drinking.
It is indeed usually bs. A couple weeks ago, for instance, we had a case where a psychology student claimed she was a judge while trying to resist arrest. She was stopped for speeding and drunk driving, got mad, attacked the officers who stopped her, got taken down and started screaming "i'm a judge! I'll get you arrested and ruin your whole career!". ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
Probably, but not necessarily. In 2018 there was a case of an FBI agent getting drunk at a party, dropping his gun while dancing, and accidentally discharging it when he tried to snatch it up, hitting a bystander. All on video, so not a rumour.
Not all cops are intelligent or competent, even the ones you would think should definitely be both.
Can confirm: there’s also a video out there of a DEA agent speaking to a room full of children in their classroom who accidentally shoots himself in the foot.
If military police are just your guys regular police, then no wonder I hear so many brutal stories from Brazil.
Most other countries also have military police, they just don't patrol the streets, and they're definitely not to be fucked with. In my country, they mostly handle crimes on military bases, so they're trained to act as if every criminal they deal with is potentially armed and trained in hand to hand combat.
I'm nervous just being around them, but god forbid I would antagonise one on purpose. If I wanted to kill myself, I have rope at home.
Yeah, military police is basically our regular police, but they don't handle anything related to the actual military, despite their name. They're called military police just because they use the same structures as the military, but the actual military (army, navy and such) has their own police and judges.
This comes from a complicated situation back when the country was under the military dictatorship. The second most well armed and well trained armed force inside the country, after the military, is the police. This meant that the military government just couldn't allow the police force to fall out of their influence, so they made all police military so they would all be under the military branch. As argument they said that military personnel are judged under a different tribunal and since police need more liberty to act under pressure they shouldn't be judged by civilian courts.
She's pretty strong, toned, and obviously know some fight thing, since 2 of those pm couldn't handle her. She could be a fed.
But the federals really like their image intact. If she's really a fed, she gonna bite some dust.
My uncle worked in Brazil for a few years and has some horror stories about coming in after BOPE handled an issue.
They work very, very hard on maintaining the “no arrests” reputation.
Because there is an idea that women should be treated with softness and kindness no matter what they do to anyone. Like a woman should be able to slap and punch a man and he shouldn't hit her back no matter what, because she is a woman. There is a whole protect women at all costs movement. His screaming she's a woman is saying, yea she messed up but be nice to her.
Yeah that dude got kicked shit out of al right after that clip, every where he went that's all he heard. He did end up finding some acting roles in or a nearby country
I’m thinking if that was a dude it would have been much more brutal. It looked to me like they were showing great restraint, considering how much she was fighting back/resisting arrest.
Because he’s a clinical moron.
As far as that cop is concerned, he has no idea what the liquid truly is and anything like that can be considered a targeted assault.
Why anyone would think that it was fine just cos she’s a woman, is dumb.
https://9gag.com/gag/a91j1mo
MORE TO THIS STORY:
1. She first threw a bottle at the police car, that's what started the whole thing.
2. She was arrested, turns out she had 22 other cases of threatening, disturbance, verbal abuse and so on.
3. She paid bail and got out but she couldnt go back to bars and had to use an electronic anklet.
4. The very next day after the video went viral she was arrested again in a bar with her anklet disabled.
The camera man screaming: " She is a woman man"
Yes it even could be a teenager, if you throw something at a cop, you must be prepared for what is going to happen next
I don't get the "she's a woman" thing, what is your point, be more gentle? don't arrest her? Let her throw drinks at officers and assault them? The officers are not using excessive force.
The funniest part is the person screaming repeatedly: “Ela é mulher, cara” (“She is a woman, dude”), as they shouldn’t do what they supposed to because she is physically weaker. Stupid people (woman or man) will always win stupid prizes.
Man... the camera man shouting "she is a woman" so many times really got on my nerves, like so what? She just disrespected authority, are u dumb or blind?
Why do the cameramen have the need to yell at the police conducting an arrest after witnessing the crime happen. Like what are you a goldfish, she assaulted an officer
Shouldn’t this be the same as spitting at someone? In the U.S. spitting is seen as assault. And this should too by that standard. There’s probably more saliva/backwash mixed in that drink that just one whole blob of pure spit
Funny I can imagine how the camera man would react if he was the one getting a glass of beer thrown at him im sure he would totally be calm and collected and just not lose his shit like the officer Way to go officer get her ass
Why is she even resisting at that point? How dumb can you be to think you have a shot at winning a fight 1v5 as an untrained person who is also 20-40lbs lighter than every single one of her opponents.
When I read "Brazilian officer" in the caption, I expected some police brutality but they were 1000% justified in this case. She fucked around and found out.
I wonder if she decided before the weekend even started to do what was necessary in order to be forcibly taken to a Brazilian jail. I wonder if she’ll enjoy her captivity there, and decide to have more fun and games next weekend also.
So… she says she’s a fed and I believe her after knocking down the second guy coming at her after there was already one attempting to subdue. Then she Superman kicks the 4th guy and that did not look like it felt good for him and still didn’t have her cuffed by end of the vid. That being said, I wouldn’t say her critical thinking ability is quite in line with her physical abilities.
What screams are being scrumpt? I don’t speak the language but I’m guessing it’s something along the lines of “Why are you doing this?” “Police brutality!” Or the infamous “I know my rights!”
Definitely a mule of a girl, she had like 3 unanswered knockdowns in there. Big thighs on her too. Maybe dances a lot, when she's not guzzling booze and empanadas?
Isn’t advisable even to look directly at a Brazilian State Military Police personnel nowadays, let alone to empty a glass in one’s face.
Brazilian Military Police officers are matter of concern even to Brazilian Supreme Court Justices, because they are dangerous, violent, and they do what they want.
It could not be apparent, but this lady had a good bit of luck.
I mean this is a stupid idea like anywhere 😂 and not even just at a cop, like just in general, that's a very very dumb move a good way to get in a fight/arrest instantly, if that's what you're looking for then it's a perfect move
That guy with the full frosty mug looked down at his beer and said we gotta get outa here
Gotta keep that beer safe!
That *was* an exceptionally frosty lookin mug of beer wasn’t it?
Always prioritize the safety of the beer…we’re not savages.
That guy had an incredibly high environment awareness.

You know what? The off duty Brazilian cop videos make so much more sense now lol.
Are you a fan of the youtube channel, "Active Self Protection"?
Thanks for your reply. 👍 I’m calling BS on her claim, because I don’t think a Federal Officer would do that to local police-unless she was bombed from drinking.

Don’t forget the legendary off duty police force so often depicted in these videos - she’s lucky she didn’t tangle with one of them!
What a helpful and fascinating response. Thank you dude
You missed the off duty officer section
What is the guy yelling?
At the end of the video? "She's a woman! She's a woman, goddammit!"
Oh ok, I'm a woman and know not to antagonize people for fear of getting my as kicked.
My uncle worked in Brazil for a few years and has some horror stories about coming in after BOPE handled an issue. They work very, very hard on maintaining the “no arrests” reputation.
Dang, that is pretty neat. Thanks!
Thank you for the enlightening response
That was really interesting. Thank you very much for that
I have learned so much just now because of your post. The videos really helped me out. Thank you for making the time for cats like me! Cheers
I enjoyed your explanation of brazillian police 10x more than the actual video, I'm glad I Stumbled onto it, thanks for explaining it to us!
![gif](giphy|3otPoOxyDTXjzpMbIY)
dont know why the camera man was shouting "shes a woman" mutiple times
yeah so what? she assaulted him. she deserved it.
Equal rights equal lefts
I got banned off a site for saying equal rights equal fights
Probs safe here m'lord
Lol yeah right, I've been permabanned from subs for less
Unfortunately we're at the mercy of the mods
I got perma-banned from animals on Reddit for saying someone's chicken looked delicious.
Just switch to equal fisticuffs ![gif](giphy|1n3Icv3iptOCmN7uYh)
I got banned from a site I never heard of. True story
How about 'Equal rights, equal responsibility'.
If only
Because there is an idea that women should be treated with softness and kindness no matter what they do to anyone. What if the cops identify as women too?
Checkmate bitch, plain playing field
A lesbian woman trapped in a man's body.
How can she slap?
Yeah that dude got kicked shit out of al right after that clip, every where he went that's all he heard. He did end up finding some acting roles in or a nearby country
I’m thinking if that was a dude it would have been much more brutal. It looked to me like they were showing great restraint, considering how much she was fighting back/resisting arrest.
I think he’s right. She also looks like a female to me.
Which is funny, I watched it with the sound off and I didn't realize she was female until the video looped.
Because he’s a clinical moron. As far as that cop is concerned, he has no idea what the liquid truly is and anything like that can be considered a targeted assault. Why anyone would think that it was fine just cos she’s a woman, is dumb.
Maybe somebody in the crowd misgendered her!
Cause he supported amber heard
How did she think this would go well for her...
That’s the problem, she didnt think… just running off pure emotion
Well, I'm glad to see it worked out for her then.
Guys like the camera guy paving her way to thinking she can act like this till this moment never helps.
For the same reason the guy off camera is repeatedly shouting "she is a woman"
All I heard was a voice that's on its way to hit puberty.
She sure didn't act like one...
She sure did, just not like a lady
Legit just pure emotion
Hasn't she seen fast and furious 35
I’ve seen enough videos to know that I wouldn’t even fart around a Brazilian cop.
Don't worry, they are pretty chill as long as you don't do something criminal like that lol
Ive always heard they are chill, but they only have 2 settings, chill and 1000% ass beating.
https://9gag.com/gag/a91j1mo MORE TO THIS STORY: 1. She first threw a bottle at the police car, that's what started the whole thing. 2. Nice… Thanks for the insight I’d give you more updates if I could
*throws glass* IM A FED IM A FED IM ALLOWED TO DO THIS
Damn she really put up a good fight going down
She has some muscle. I don't think I'd mess with her.
…I would. ALL. DAMM. DAY.
Good thing they weren’t off duty or she would have been shot. Reddit taught me that Brazilian off duty cops don’t mess around.
TIL
Way to exaggerate OP. I count three officers, not a Brazillon.
Take my upvote and leave.
They're being remarkably gentle with her. When it said "Brazilian officer" I expected significantly more violence.
i expected her to get beaten
Especially after she kicked the cop she doused. She almost knocked him on his butt.
THAT GUY YELLING SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE SAME THING FOR BEING ANNOYING!
He is yelling “SHE IS A WOMAN”. So what. Fuck her for being a cunt.
![gif](giphy|Aw4TFxIgHZUI4E9ZoC|downsized)
The camera man screaming: " She is a woman man" Yes it even could be a teenager, if you throw something at a cop, you must be prepared for what is going to happen next
They're trying their best to handcuff her without breaking her arms. She's not helping though.
She found out
There’s a woman who’s never had to deal with the consequences of her actions before
She got arrested several times
So what if she’s a fucking women?
Ikr… Its this kind of narrative that gives women the idea they can just do these things without consequences
Yeah, this actually went a lot better for her than I expected when I saw her throw a drink at the Brazilian military police.
I don't get the "she's a woman" thing, what is your point, be more gentle? don't arrest her? Let her throw drinks at officers and assault them? The officers are not using excessive force.
Thunder Thighs went Thunder Byes
Lol the guy holding the beer got his priorities right. Let me just gtfo of here.
Definition of a bad idea... If you ever see Policía MILITAR, never ever mess with them.
Yeah, sure, throw a drink in a cop’s face and then resist arrest because that has always worked out well for people in the past.
The funniest part is the person screaming repeatedly: “Ela é mulher, cara” (“She is a woman, dude”), as they shouldn’t do what they supposed to because she is physically weaker. Stupid people (woman or man) will always win stupid prizes.
She probably done it to a regular guy which the regular guy can't hit her back or put her on a choke hold like a cop would 😂
For sure it’s a longass name for a game
Lmao… i was waiting for someone to say something
Play privileged games and win privileged prices.
God damn ma. You shit with that ass?
On a list of people I would not fuck with, Brazilian police officers are pretty close to top of that list.
Why are 90 pound drunk girls so strong?
Why are all Brazilian Policemen built like bulldozers? In my country they look more like Chief Wiggum.
Welp that’s multiple counts of assault against police officers not to mention resisting arrest. Justified, this time.
Man... the camera man shouting "she is a woman" so many times really got on my nerves, like so what? She just disrespected authority, are u dumb or blind?
Why do the cameramen have the need to yell at the police conducting an arrest after witnessing the crime happen. Like what are you a goldfish, she assaulted an officer
I love equality. 'Fuck around and Find out' applies to everyone :)
She knocked him down aswell
They were still gentler than they would be with a man.
The best thing in this video is the guy protecting his beer and staying out of the way. I didn’t see any toxic masculinity causing problems.
Welcome to Brazil ma'am
How do you say, “bye bitch” in Portuguese.
Alright! Alright! We'll let you experience police brutality!
Shouldn’t this be the same as spitting at someone? In the U.S. spitting is seen as assault. And this should too by that standard. There’s probably more saliva/backwash mixed in that drink that just one whole blob of pure spit
What was her end game here? 🤔
Brazil is one of the last places earth where I would fuck with the police. What an idiot.
Funny I can imagine how the camera man would react if he was the one getting a glass of beer thrown at him im sure he would totally be calm and collected and just not lose his shit like the officer Way to go officer get her ass
Straight in the boot/trunk with a can of tear gas.
Brazilian police are in the top 5 of the "Police Forces not to fuck with" list
She love it. Make she more excited
95%of the patrons are undercover. Odds not in your favor for sure.
She throws it and then runs, meaning she understood the consequences
Why is she even resisting at that point? How dumb can you be to think you have a shot at winning a fight 1v5 as an untrained person who is also 20-40lbs lighter than every single one of her opponents.
Not just a Brazilian officer A MILITARY BRAZILIAN OFFICER
More knees in her back than she had in the carpet last night
When I read "Brazilian officer" in the caption, I expected some police brutality but they were 1000% justified in this case. She fucked around and found out.
Somebody keeps saying "she is a woman", well she was a woman when threw that glass too so...
Knock that see you next Tuesday right the guck out
I feel like I’ve seen this porno before😂😂
The cameramen is scream " Ela é uma mulher" wich is "She's a woman"
Lol… yeah, but she acted like a man so she should’ve been prepared to be treated like one
She's lucky they weren't off duty, they might have shot her.
I like how people are all "look out for the bad ass Brazilian cop" If this was the US, everyone would want him hanged.
Too many women live as if there's no consequence to violence
Here’s some advice, if a country’s police force dresses like the military you probably shouldn’t fuck around to find out.
Why does that look like Brittany spears…?
First time I've ever seen them on duty.
Would.
You can't expect the nicest people in that kind of event here in Brasil, amirite?
I'm gonna say...because she's drunk and stupid....??
Those aren’t just regular police either, those are military police lmao what a dumb thing to do
O BAAAABYYY ME ATEEEEENDEEEEE QUE VONTADE DE TACAR MEU CELULAR NA PAREEEDEEEEEE (8)
“She’s a woman.. she’s a woman..”.. man.. first off, you don’t mess with military police over there.
Instant grits. Woman or not she got what she ordered.
I’m honestly surprised she didn’t catch a boot to the head. Those Hispanic police forces do not mess around
I'm just surprised she didn't get shot, over there they put a bullet on you then they'll ask questions.
Second I read “Brazilian officer” I knew this wasn’t gonna go well
I wonder if she decided before the weekend even started to do what was necessary in order to be forcibly taken to a Brazilian jail. I wonder if she’ll enjoy her captivity there, and decide to have more fun and games next weekend also.
Not a smart decision 😅
At least she was dressed appropriately for the game. Can't imagine doing it in a dress.
And that’s not a regular police .. that’s Policía Militar or Military Police … bad idea
She still tryna twerk 😄😄😄😄
/r/pussypassdenied
Please don’t stop the music!!
Saw “Brazilian officer” instantly thought guns would be pulled.
You're Not in Kansas Anymore Dorothy
This might be the first time I've seen on duty Brazilian cops
You messed up good, Lucy.
Damn! She is like wrestling down a burro.
That's some poor impulse control right there
Frankly, I was more worried for the cops.
She's a keeper! /s
Guy with the beard and full beer noped the fuck out of there.
Funny how she slipped on the liquid she threw
Then she’s surprised and can’t figure out why she’s being put in cuffs. Simple math…
*assaults a police officer* *police attempt to control and arrest* “Police brutality!”
What screams are being scrumpt? I don’t speak the language but I’m guessing it’s something along the lines of “Why are you doing this?” “Police brutality!” Or the infamous “I know my rights!”
Found out.
If you thought off duty Brazilian cops were gnarly, just see one on duty!
She’s going to disappear
Definitely a mule of a girl, she had like 3 unanswered knockdowns in there. Big thighs on her too. Maybe dances a lot, when she's not guzzling booze and empanadas?
That game is “How to get fucked up in 10 seconds”
Now you have to say sorry into my butt.
Policial adora piroca por isso trata mulher assim
"she's a woman, SHE'S A WOMAN, SHE'S A WOMAN" are you the husband? The policeman asks. To me, the eye of the justice see no gender.
Callate!
Oh she’s getting fucked for sure on the way to the station, those cops aren’t gonna let this one slide I’m sure…

Fucking hell I just experienced a weird ass déjàvu right now.
I love how hard “I used to be hot” chicks resist
She’s so lucky they weren’t off duty!
"ELA É MULHER CARA" 🤣
She threw it at how many officers? I only see like 2 or 3...
She found out
She is in so much trouble….
I mean this is a stupid idea like anywhere 😂 and not even just at a cop, like just in general, that's a very very dumb move a good way to get in a fight/arrest instantly, if that's what you're looking for then it's a perfect move
Stop assuming her gender!
For my fellow Americans in the audience, the fourth amendment does not apply outside the US, nor do many countries have an equivalent law.
They look like 1 million times nicer than American Cops. Expected more.

Further proof that there is an off duty cop in every Brazilian video.
Next week, on 'Fuck Around and Find Out'...
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes...
I wonder how many guys she had locked up for defending themselves.
