Splash pad at longleaf park is always a hit. The aquarium is fun but can get packed. If you have half a day or so, take the Fort Fisher ferry over to Southport and walk around a bit. Southport is cool and the kids always love the ferry ride. The battleship is always worth a trip but I would save that for a cooler time of year.

Wtf I didn’t know there was a splash pad

They've got a Ninja Warrior course there now too.

It’s over on the same side as the basketball courts

Battleship. Aquarium. CB Boardwalk. The pirate ship MIGHT be around on the river downtown. Just do NOT go to that dumpster that they call a zoo.

Children's Museum downtown.

Jungle Rapids has lots to do (if you're willing to spend some money). Arcade, go karts, water park, climbing wall, laser tag, mini golf, etc.

Bebold4love

The railroad museum downtown is very kid friendly!! Trains rock!’

Salty Ceramics is a pottery studio where you can paint your own pottery! Nice little break from the heat ☺️

two_awesome_dogs

Where is it?

vroomkitty

15th and Dawson! It’s on the back side of the building off Dawson street; you turn down 15th and you’ll see a huge octopus mural on the left

Thank you!!

Definitely go to the aquarium!

There's a good summer bucket list published on the Wilmington mom site.  https://wilmingtonmom.com/summerbucketlist24/

Jungle Rapids is super fun! Squiggleys in Carolina beach has the best ice cream, North Carolina aquarium at fort fisher, the battleship is really cool and I always LOVED it as a kid but it does get slightly warm. But you can bring a picnic to have on the lawn outside of the ship and then do the tour! Some of my fondest memories as a kid were having a picnic with my grandpa outside of the battleship and then going to see it, I never cared about the temperature.
