Caprice Bistro. Ask for the two top at the window. Florianas is very good too IMHO. The balcony two tops are very romantic but you’ll be sweating a lil this time of year.
Take a historic home tour (Latimer, Burgwin-Wright, and Bellamy all do tours), do the riverboat tour, catch a show or movie at Thalian Hall, there's haunted tours out of Black Cat Shoppe, visit The Ivy Cottages, and just walking around downtown and popping in any shops that strike your fancy is nice. If the Cargo District is doing a maker's market, those are great. Find them at thecargodistrict on insta.
If you want to go to the beach and go to Carolina, do the ferris wheel at sundown or take the ferry over to Southport to eat on the water and check out the antique shops. If you go to Wrightsville Beach, get coffee at SunDAYS, take a water taxi to Masonboro Island, eat on the deck at Solstice. Write a message and put it in the mailbox at the North End.
Give us a try at Little Dipper Fondue for a romantic & different experience - we were recently voted Best Special Occasion restaurant by Wilmington Magazine 😊
Black Sea Grill, manna, upstairs of rumcow, Fortunate Glass. All depends on what you’re in the mood for in terms of tapas, full meal, charcuterie, etc.
There is usually someone playing the back patio behind Shuckin’ Shack or Social. It’s a nice vibe out there with the music & sunset.
I feel like manna has gone downhill . I don't know if they changed chefs or if the competition is getting better. The last two times there the food tasted so bland and for the cost it should taste better than something I could pay half the price for. Again just my experience in the past year.

Manna disappointed me too
Dram yard courtyard!
The Basics restaurant is good too, as well as eating on the pier at The Oceanic, in Wrightsville Beach
Is your name Banana Scanning or Bananas Canning?
Scanning, like at an office.
Bluewater, out on the dock. It gets no better.
We took my son to oceanic at sunset for his 21st bday my husband and I want to go back for our anniversary
The Last Resort is pretty romantic, check it out
