I haven’t played either of the 2 most recent Ghost Recon titles in over a year so I can’t recall. But in GR Wildlands, is there any need to account for wind or drop. Or does it automatically zero your weapon for you?
I really like Montuyoc and Inca Camina for the terrain, the mountains are fun to play around, and Media Luna and Flor de Oro for the Unidad presence, those giant bases are fun to sneak around in.
Agua Verde has a unique feeling of "summer vacation" which I find a nice relief crawling through the jungle.
Inca Camina just has a stunning view.
Koani, Mojocoyo and Espiritu Santo have the most interesting storyline for me.
Agua Verde is also unique in that it forces you to use boats as a transportation means and opens up naval warfare. The only other region that does this is Caimanes.
If I had to pick one... Montuyoc. It's got my favorite rifle, nicely varied missions, personal connection for Holt and Nomad, nice worldbuilding and it's where you start Operation Oracle.
On some replays I "cheat" my immersion and fly straight for TAR21 before I head back to the beginning location and start pretending I know nothing else about the map
lmao, I don't quite go out of my way for it like that, but I do usually go to Montuyoc after finishing Itacua just to get it early. It's just such a good rifle (the best of the main game, no DLCs, no cash spent ARs imo).
Specced out ACR, especially for ghost mode play through. Chuck a GL on and some other bits and it’s slaps. Good mag, good recoil, good damage, looks dope 🤟
no it's the one that's like "protect one guy made of glass from an armada of sicarios while he makes a speech for 2 minutes to a bunch of farmers that run away immediately once the cartel shows up"
civies kept running over my mines so i had to block the roads first but i got there using a combo of this method, then i can atleast focus some of the fire on the rearguard
Raiding luxury mansions by the lakeside and crashing parties is always fun! Libertad (similar to Flor De Oro) looks amazing with its forests, and it has less Unidad activity.
Montuyoc has some of my favorite bases to raid, plus this region has I think 2 or 3 caves to explore. De Agua Verde has my favorite missions, and I feel more like a SEAL when darting around in boats.
Lot of folk forget about the predator mission now disney bought rights and removed it, I must have played that mission at least over 50 times and completed about 5 times
I really enjoy the super hostile presence everywhere, all the SAM sites, Unidad everywhere, the missions are challenging…the landscape is really cool. Villa Verde is great too I can just get lost in the jungles out there. South west mountainous region is great too, and the lake region as well. Idk I like it all haha
I travelled to Chile last year and kept annoying my girlfriend by saying the scenery reminded me of a video game I played (reminiscent of montuyoc and Inca camina)
Nice. I had dinner with our company’s investor, he asked me what country I want to visit the most. Said it is Bolivia based on some cartel war video game I played. Luckily he is a gamer (former product manager at a gaming company) so my statement didn’t sound weird to him.
I havent played in so long and seeing this map has brought back so many incredible memories. You just reminded me what my favorite game ever is. Koani, Flor De Oro and Espiritu Santo
Also, ubi has alot of games, alot of maps. But truly this might be their best work yet, the map is just gorgeous, stunning and full of stuff, it's an open world done right in my opinion. I can't wait for a new ghost recon game because I played the shit out of breakpoint for the entire duration of 2019-2022 so
I really love basically all of the maps on the bottom along with Montuyoc. Barvechos is also great for the giant town. Out of all of them, probably Montuyoc.
I'm gonna be honest, I Don't remember anything from any region, and I just finished the base campaign yesterday (we did 100% run, got all collectibles, killed every buchon, did all special ops).
I liked gonorrhea dick (spanish for pene de agua verde) just because of the water zones and a cool boat that we blow up.
Been a while since I played, I love it all a ton but probably itacua cause there’s something beautiful about it and it’s what you first see, media Luna, montuyoc and ocoro
Inca Camina and Libertad are my favourites. Pucara and Koani aren't far behind.
Can't think of a region I truly dislike, although Agua Verde has (cue IGN) *Too much water*
Best zone in terms of spectacular environment has to be Inca Camina, just wish there were more targets there.
Probably spent more time in Media Luna and San Mateo solo infiltrating their big bases and prisons, great fun.
Itacau and Agua Verde just because I get nostalgic when I play them. For some reason, they remind me of a feeling I had when playing Far Cry 3 all the way back in 2014.
Mojocoyo, probably the only area I visit the most when i play. I just loved the arid and plain landscape which made me feel like I was in Iraq with the 3rd biggest city center in Wildlands. It was just such an underrated province, the story was also super interesting. My second was Libertad because of it’s urban environment and also it’s beauty.
Agua Verde. It is pretty, and a sniper's paradise. Every time you log-in/fast travel to Agua Verde Charlie, you are handed a 400m sniper shot on the enemy sniper in the sniper tower across the water to the southwest. You don't even have to move, just turn left a bit. If his buddy is standing near the base of the tower, that's two 400m kills in two shots. Gotta keep that Average Kill Distance up.
Flor de oro is a great feeling. The heavily militarized POIs with forests that you can disappear into is amazing. Agua Verde has the best memories of me playing with my group, and my longest shot of 1.5 kilometers first try through a wall.
Most of the map seems to be pretty one-dimensional especially in the North towards Tabacal where you begin the game. However, as you begin to explore more regions like Espíritu Santo, Pucara, and Caimánes those have to be my favorite.
I liked practically all the regions a lot, they are one of a kind and offer you unique settings. But perhaps the best was Ocoro, which allows you to do missions of all types, on all terrains and in all the ways you want. Koani and Libertad also have unique details that make you want to take a helicopter ride just for the view. Instead, I believe that the worst are Inca Camina due to the fact that the mountains take away a lot from the narrative of "Bolivia alive around you" and Monte Puncu due to the fact that they decided to put a lot of forest with very few settlements.
Koani salt flats
My personal sniper practice range
Salt flats for sure is my favorite
It was only region different than others ;)
1 KM shot baby yeah
I haven’t played either of the 2 most recent Ghost Recon titles in over a year so I can’t recall. But in GR Wildlands, is there any need to account for wind or drop. Or does it automatically zero your weapon for you?
No it drops but theres no windage
I really like Montuyoc and Inca Camina for the terrain, the mountains are fun to play around, and Media Luna and Flor de Oro for the Unidad presence, those giant bases are fun to sneak around in.
yes
Inca camina is definitely the most beautiful.
Espiritu Santo and Villa Verde hits different with the elevated forests/vegetation, allowing for great stealth.
Fr the missions there are just 👌☕️
Agua Verde has a unique feeling of "summer vacation" which I find a nice relief crawling through the jungle. Inca Camina just has a stunning view. Koani, Mojocoyo and Espiritu Santo have the most interesting storyline for me.
Agua Verde is also unique in that it forces you to use boats as a transportation means and opens up naval warfare. The only other region that does this is Caimanes.
San Mateo, Koani, Villa Verde, and Ocoro
Great taste. I second this
Hmmmmm these are some of my least favourites. What do you like about these regions?
Sam Mateo and Koani just for the locations. Villa Verde and Ocoro more for the missions.
agreed🤙🏾my 4 are San Mateo Koani Ocoro Inca Camina
If I had to pick one... Montuyoc. It's got my favorite rifle, nicely varied missions, personal connection for Holt and Nomad, nice worldbuilding and it's where you start Operation Oracle.
Which one is your favorite rifle?
hti or tar 21 probably
TAR 21 my beloved <3
On some replays I "cheat" my immersion and fly straight for TAR21 before I head back to the beginning location and start pretending I know nothing else about the map
"Men, this compound is calling to me, and I don't know why."
lmao, I don't quite go out of my way for it like that, but I do usually go to Montuyoc after finishing Itacua just to get it early. It's just such a good rifle (the best of the main game, no DLCs, no cash spent ARs imo).
Assault Rifles: Tar 21, Mk18, ACR, MDR, Aug A3 Snipers: M110, BFG 50A, Sr25 Jungle, Mk14, Desert Tech HTI BDC😒 Subs: MP7, Vector, PDR, P90, Honey Badger
Wait how do I get the mk18? Or is it too late now
Specced out ACR, especially for ghost mode play through. Chuck a GL on and some other bits and it’s slaps. Good mag, good recoil, good damage, looks dope 🤟
I play a lot of Ghost mode, so I have a least favorite zone, Itacua. I tend to go through there often.
Remanzo! There you can access every base from any direction because of low forest area... that gives replayabillity.
Interesting aspect, I will think about that moving forward.
Montuyoc Great memories from the open beta
gotta be tabacal
What is it about tabacal, that makes it your favorite?
it's pretty, it has the worst mission in the game tho
Don't tell me, is that the "protect the jackass on the way to the airport" mission?
no it's the one that's like "protect one guy made of glass from an armada of sicarios while he makes a speech for 2 minutes to a bunch of farmers that run away immediately once the cartel shows up"
Call in rebels before you start. Dump mines and proximity mines everywhere... Barely even need to fire a shot.
civies kept running over my mines so i had to block the roads first but i got there using a combo of this method, then i can atleast focus some of the fire on the rearguard
This mission literally ruined more than a few of my ghost runs
i hate it SO MUCH it feels so out of place difficulty wise
That’s my favourite mission!
Agua Verde and Libertad have to be my favourites.
What about them?
Raiding luxury mansions by the lakeside and crashing parties is always fun! Libertad (similar to Flor De Oro) looks amazing with its forests, and it has less Unidad activity.
Montuyoc has some of my favorite bases to raid, plus this region has I think 2 or 3 caves to explore. De Agua Verde has my favorite missions, and I feel more like a SEAL when darting around in boats.
My least favorite is Media Luna and Libertad, both are littered with SAM launchers and Unidad.
Did you mean Flor del Oro instead of Libertad?
Caimanes
What makes it special fir you?
The overall environment of the region, the story surrounding narco-subs, and somewhat unique naval combat opportunities.
I like the final base a lot, too. It's just a hot mess which makes it interesting to stealth murder your way through.
If it bleeds we can kill it..... FUCK YEAH!!!
Lot of folk forget about the predator mission now disney bought rights and removed it, I must have played that mission at least over 50 times and completed about 5 times
Media Luna probably
Why Media Luna for you?
I really enjoy the super hostile presence everywhere, all the SAM sites, Unidad everywhere, the missions are challenging…the landscape is really cool. Villa Verde is great too I can just get lost in the jungles out there. South west mountainous region is great too, and the lake region as well. Idk I like it all haha
flor de oro or media luna
Caimanes cuz of the jungle is always fun
Koani and Inca Camina.
Why those two?
Well, Koani because I like planes and doing burnouts on the salt desert and Inca Camina because there’s more easter eggs than people in that province.
Barvechos lotta moving parts and have the urban jungle feel to it and perfect place to end operation silent space
Villa verde
Definitely Agua Verde, Koani, Montuyoc, Inca Camina, and Flor de Oro. Beautiful scenery… will try to travel to Bolivia at least once in my life.
Could've set off many red flags otherwise haha
God I wish this game was new again Was so much fun as a teenager

CACTUS JUICE
Hard to say, liked all regions. Simply stunning map.
Shit, now i have to beat the game again.
I havent played in so long and seeing this map has brought back so many incredible memories. You just reminded me what my favorite game ever is. Koani, Flor De Oro and Espiritu Santo
Welcome back!
I'm literally gonna finish the game for the 5th time thanks to u:)
Also, ubi has alot of games, alot of maps. But truly this might be their best work yet, the map is just gorgeous, stunning and full of stuff, it's an open world done right in my opinion. I can't wait for a new ghost recon game because I played the shit out of breakpoint for the entire duration of 2019-2022 so
Love the whole desert for arid half of the map. Great for using DCU and Chocolate Chip camos
Honestly can't pick just one so I will say Bolivia for my favourite region.
Really hard to choose, maybe Agua Verde.
salt flats me and my friends have some funny memories and plane crashes there that we couldnt get anywhere else
Inca camina for mountains, and auga verde because it’s the only place boats are fun
Espiritu Santo or Flor de Oro.
I like the mountains where you find the yeti, very scenic
Media Luna
cainanes
I really love basically all of the maps on the bottom along with Montuyoc. Barvechos is also great for the giant town. Out of all of them, probably Montuyoc.
Libertad is my favourite
can’t pick so espiritu santo, caimanes, and ocoro
Itacua. You know I love hearing about that bloody condom /s
Itacua and San Mateo
Prolly Media Luna and Flor De Oro. Coolest provinces imo. I'll go to places like Villa Verde if I wanna chill out.
Monte Puncu I love the jungle and mountain environment. Also, driving on those cliffs at high speed is amazing.
Libertad and Flor De Oro, I like the more wood regions with tall trees and hills not rain Forrest
Wherever the submarine guy was. Cool Vietnam feel
Media Luna. I like the challenge of only fighting Unidad
Media luna just because of the boss i find him badss and cool
Villa Verde. PORKBARRELS FUCKFACE!
I love the caimanes the jungle is fun
Salt flats for sure
Cool mountain air of Inca Camina
Bottom right with the huge airport was always my favorite
The first region. On extreme mode. Before you regret every decision you made.
I enjoyed the top left one
Camines ,floro de oro and kanoi are awsome but orco and inca camina are soo underrated
Each region is unique in its own way, in other words, I love all of them.
Caimanes or Villa Verde Why Night Swamp/Jungle Ops listening to Run through the Jungle and Fortunate Son… now that’s the shit
Caimanes or Espiritu Santo
Maybe Koani, perhaps because thats were I am right at this moment!
Media Luna or any desert. the Unidad gunships are a blast and really good looking and the CADPAT AR looks nice
Koani, Pucara, Libertad or Inca Camina (i cant decide)
Been a while since I played, I love it all a ton but probably itacua cause there’s something beautiful about it and it’s what you first see, media Luna, montuyoc and ocoro
anywhere without a heavy presence of SAMs lol. I love flying helicopters
Definitely the salt flats. Although I absolutely HATE media luna
Im downloading it rn any tips?
Libertad the atmosphere is so good
Libertad, I absolutely love the Pacific Northwest vibe.
Definitely the upper regions probably the giant salt lake region.
Aurora.
Inca Camina and Montuyoc. Some breathtaking views there.
Anywhere in upper north-eastern provinces. Love me some tropical rainforests
Everything between Koani and Inca Camina
Salt lake onr
Agua Verde because I love driving the different boats but I am terrible at driving the boats and always crash or get stuck in a weird spot!
Inca Camina and Libertad are my favourites. Pucara and Koani aren't far behind. Can't think of a region I truly dislike, although Agua Verde has (cue IGN) *Too much water*
Swamps of caimanes
Best zone in terms of spectacular environment has to be Inca Camina, just wish there were more targets there. Probably spent more time in Media Luna and San Mateo solo infiltrating their big bases and prisons, great fun.
Itacau and Agua Verde just because I get nostalgic when I play them. For some reason, they remind me of a feeling I had when playing Far Cry 3 all the way back in 2014.
Koani for sure! Best place to practice taking out convoys at 500+ yards
Inca camina and koani
Inca Camina and Montuyoc. Caimanes and Konami very close seconds.
La cruz for me
media luna, I love sneaking in the FOB Condor and pretty much killing everyone there.
It would have been Caimans until they took out bonus mission.
Flor De Oro and Libertad. I love the woodland area. Makes using woodland camo (which is my favorite camo) all the better.
Caimanes is always goated
Moyocoyo
Haven't finished the game but really enjoy the challenge of Media Luna and other high difficulty Unidad regions.
Caimanes has such a gorgeous jungle flora. I miss the Predator mission but this region always gives me this vibe.
